The only part I didn’t like was the nickel and dimming at the end of my rental. I went from $122 to over $200 because of the gas and the mileage. Apparently I was a couple of gallons short of the Mark and the attendant charged me $30 service fee plus $13 for gas, which was ridiculousand the dollar 39 a mile to me is a little high

We use to be able to access our units until midnight. Now we are not allowed past ten. Some of us don't get home til late and we don't have access to our unit. If they allowed us that access to our unit it make a difference in our lives thanks

Inez, the manager/installer was fantastic. We had the 4-pin to 7-pin/4-pin conversion and a brake controller installed. Her work was very clean and professional. Her attention to detail was top notch. Our hitch receiver was originally installed at this facility more than 10 years ago. When the electric module for the 4-pin trailer connection went bad a year ago, we had it replaced at this facility. They know what they are doing. Inez and the entire staff are professional, knowledgeable, and very friendly.

Everything was fine. Staff was on their game. It was very busy when I returned the trailer. Someone was out checking in the trailer with in minutes of me pulling in. Rolland, who had hooked up the trailer in the morning was passing on his way to help a line of customers at the propane station, and he took just a second to ask how everything went. Thanx for good customer service.

Brought back truck same day, guty watched us through the window drop the keys in the slot, refused to open door to take keys AFTER he saw us out the window taking pics of mileage etc...2 mins after he locked the doors!!!Then claimed we brought truck back at 9:30 AM !! Don't like this lying. Too lazy to check it in when we returned it. Then you had the nerve to charge us an after hours fee!! Don't think so. We are regular customers and have a storage unit with you as well.This is underhanded and very poor customer service.

Office closed at 7pm got there at 7:05pm. Attempted to self checkout. Way too cumbersome of a process. Left truck and keys charged $20 extra for them to do their jobs. Ridiculous. Keep the change. Won’t be back.

Got a truck with a check engine light on and drove off because supposedly they didn’t have a scanner to remove it but along the way to Hayward truck gave me a lot of issue going up and down the hills it bogged a lot and wasted a lot more gas than usual got back very late and now I have to get a ride back home hope U-Haul can make my bad experience a lot better

It was not clear on how we could access the building. We had trouble with our access code. Then, it was very difficult (and it is still very difficult) to open our storage unit. The part where the lock goes does not slide very easily at all! It’s way too hard to get in and out of our unit.

The employee who checked me out was extremely rude and crass. Lack of customer service and slow in processing. All nib had to do was sign a paper and leave. Itv took him over 45 minutes to help me. He also threatened to bill me if I did not wait even after his coworker validated the cleaning of the unit I rented. He was awful... and disrespectful.

The reason I could not follow through with move in is due to a conflict with one of the account holders. I do not know the persons name. A man that was with the woman moving things out misunderstood my friend and my actions. I was showing my friend binoculars and apparently the man thought we were taking pictures of him. He made rude threatening sexually expressive gestures that are inappropriate and appeared to want to start a fight. We tried to explain his mis perception but he drove off in the uhaul truck. In order to avoid future conflict, I immediately approached the office to cancel the order and never even entered the storage area doors. The agent kindly allowed me to cancel and I had explained the situation. I have two disabilities and decided to take the "higher road" to avoid conflict with other customers. I had even sensed something about that man that made me uneasy before the conflict. As if I could see his auro as a potentially violent probably personality disorder type person. I have assets and am very known in my community and decided to leave the situation. My helper that day was upset and stated that he would stand up to the man who threatened us. I was very sickening and disappointing. In a way it was a form of harassment. It happened so fast I didnt realize the depth of how it could have come down.

Rude and ignorant workers. One could not close our account and the one that could, was to busy talking to his friend out side. They stated something about not being able to return our money for the other half of the month. "It's in the contract" he said, even though I read it in full in front of him and could not find nothing at all regarding that issue and he failed to show it to me. Lying thief's is what they are......

I dont know the associates name, but he had a thin mustache and glasses. He was super helpful and patient with me and answered all of my questions. He helped me load my equipment and in my opinion went above and beyond. This was the most pleasant U-Haul experience ive had in years! Way to go guys! Show them how its done!👍

It’s just peculiar on how much people would come out but not much come in, the alarm went off . I wake up inside my car these 2 robocops with eyes are glaring like flash lights besides there tactical flash were on my face and ask me to come out because an alarm went off and I’m there so they really have to frisk me and search my car. Except that these two Einstein did ask me how long am I there , I told them well the alarm went off over an hour ago almost 2hrs, and I fell asleep wittingly for both of you guys . Coz you think it was me right and I didn’t fled the crime scene . I’m sure that two Bozo’s needs some supplements to support their brain .other than that, my experience is pretty great actually.

Inez the Manager was professional and courteous. However, Cesar-employee was arrogant, rude, condescending and overall disturbing. Half the time going into the office of the storage facility no one was in there, empty while employees were outside or there would be a line and two or three employees there and only waiting on one customer. Never friendly or accommodating. the lights in the storages did not work, i emptied out my storage with no lights. i would not recommend this uhaul to anyone.

If you need a safe, secure place to store your belongings, U-Haul Covina is the place. I ALWAYS felt safe when I was on the premises. This facility is very well maintained, clean, and well-lit. NEVER had a problem with accessing my unit. NEVER had a problem inside the unit. NEVER had an issue with any of the employees. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this storage facility.

Very inconvenient just before office closes to have to vacate the building while office checked the building. We felt people were attempting to hide in bathroom or other spaces for long periods of time. This caused us to feel unsafe and we chose to stop renting here.

Everything fine until I emptied my units. I had 2 units, almost $300 a month total, rent due on the 4th. I moved out of California, unfortunately June 4th only dat movers could come, was charged full rent till July 4th, including insurance on empty units, as soon as units empty they put ready to rent tags on, my daughter went to office to demand those be removed, she replaced my locks on and had to go back on June 27th to surrender units. Why the double dipping? Why insurance on empty units?? I never had problems before this, but will never use U-Haul again, no matter what. I have had a total of 5 units throughout the years, but never again!!!!

The storage Only being open 7-7 hampered my schedule. Unit 1005 was unlit and offset so even the hallway light didn’t get into the back of unit. PS I hate all of the surveys companies are sending these days. Be secure in your work.

1. The AC on 2d floor did not appear to be working on 6/5/2021. 2. Too many cars were parked in the docking area. Uhaul trucks need access w/o having to wait. Regular customers should be instructed parking in dock is only for loading & unloading Uhaul trucks! There was plenty of parking in nearby lot. Perhaps a security guard present could fix this issue.

I tried three different facilities to grant me the promotion yet was denied the free month saying it was a year over but this place mentioned it expired after 2 years and there was still opportunity to use this promo. The customer care was professional and informative.

Over all a “so so” experience. I’m not happy with the fact I was prorated on my month when I signed up but when I checked out in the middle of the month I was told no prorated month! So you take money for a half month, but you don’t return money if you leave early?! That’s wrong. I was told you pay for a whole month should’ve stayed for a whole month! Several times while on auto pay my billing was subject to a penalty for being late! A mistake by management. I had to take time out of my day to go and request they fix their mistake. And again No sorry here’s a little discount on the next month. The homeless situation is also a downside. Adjacent parking lot is filthy and homeless are roaming and asking for handouts.

Amy is the rudest person I've ever come in the business world and I've been in the business world for 45 years. She's hateful on the phone, she accuses people of things before she has the facts. And Iplan on following through with corporate office first and then perhaps maybe legal actions. I have a message on my phone and the way Amy talk to me and the message she left never in my 59 years on earth have I ever meant talk to her treated the way she talked and treated me. You have a couple good employees at the Covina U-Haul such as Inaz and they assistant manager which I believe his name is Carson gave me outstanding customer service today Saturday April 25th 2020

Amy was very friendly and helpful when I reserved my 2 storage units. Everyone else I dealt with seemed like it was a nuisance to help me. I asked if I could pay a fee to dispose of a small nightstand. I was told the manager had to look at it on a cart so I walked back, pulled it out of the unit, and put it on a cart, and walked back to the office where I was told that they do not dispose of furniture. When I cleaned out my storage units, I still had 27 days left that I had paid for. I thought they should refund the money for the days not used, but they didn't.
