Allen KUhaul’s app is not user friendly. Uhaul states that you can return a truck or trailer at the specific location after hours. But when I opened the app to return the trailer I rented, there wasn’t an option that would allow me to complete the return. I called the help line but they didn’t have the answer so they transferred me to another person that never answered the phone. I left the trailer there and went home. I took pictures to that I returned the trailer. The app should have a button that says “return truck/trailer “.

Eric GThe truck i had was pretty old somewhere between 06-08 171k miles. The lights button/knob was broken. Luckily figured a way to turn it on. The dashboard did not light up almost at all and u could not see it after dark. At some point i heard some metal crack as i turned out of my storage unit. Took a quick peak in the wheel wells and the leaf springs were completely rusted. As a semi driver i would not want to take nor would i trust that truck for a long distance move

Mark MKelly is the best asset this location has. All of the employees are great but she is exceptional. She goes above and beyond and is kind and always in a great mood. The only issue we had with the rental was the windshield wiper on the driver side broke and it was treacherous in the mountains with snow falling. We fixed it with packing tape.

Gabriel BOriginally, I was scheduled to rent from the Powell location which was unattended on Sunday. The truck we were assigned a key for was not present at the location. The website was a nightmare and after nearly 2 hours outside in 19 degree weather we spoke to someone on the phone and were redirected to the Old Avery Rd. location in Dublin. As horrible as our experience in Powell was, the crew at Avery Rd. was fantastic. They were understanding, quick and extremely competent. They got a truck ready for us in under 5 minutes. Everything went great after that. Overall great experience. I would recommend the Dublin location to anyone. David L. and the other lady there (whose name escapes me) were fantastic. They deserve a raise.

John N | First ImpressionsI had a storage unit there for a little over a year, now I understand that not everything can be perfect but it really could’ve been a much better experience. when I moved all of my stuff out, there was so many debris and bird feathers, and all kinds of gunk in my storage unit that obviously I didn’t put in there and I had to make sure to sweep all of that out clean it with garbage bags or I was gonna be charged a $50 cleaning fee according to the policy, not to mention every time I came to my unit there were multiple U-Haul trucks in front of it, which was very inconvenient. Also in my “contract” that I signed for the storage unit I was told it was going to be 150 a month and I paid 150 a month for multiple months and then all of a sudden it went up to 160 and there were absolutely no up charges or anything that I could see under there as to why it went up and anytime I tried to call or what not there wasn’t really anybody there to answer the phones and they weren’t the most helpful even in person. My move out day I did everything online the whole check out for the U-Haul and there was this young man standing there at the counter pretty much ignoring me and on the website it says skip line show the code and you get your keys. Well I’m standing there for probably about 20 minutes as he’s just talking to the other people, but looking at me knowing what I needed because I had my phone facing him, he could’ve easily just looked at my code and gave me the keys. It took a lady I’m not sure if she was a manager or what not coming in and seeing that I was standing there waiting and she’s like oh my gosh, have you been helped and what can I help you with and she even looked irritated at the guy because from the time she walked in, looked at my code and grab the keys was less than a minute. So the customer service there is not the greatest. It wasn’t an unpleasant time. I’ve always used U-Haul to move everything and so as my family and I will continue to rent their trucks but this was my first time renting a storage unit through them and will be my last. In all honestly, I would not spend the money again here now knowing what I do now because the quality is just not worth the price I could’ve went to a lesser known storage unit and even got a bigger unit for way less because originally I had a storage unit a couple years ago that was further away and paid 140 for it and it was size of about a two car garage that was privately owned by the sweetest people and I had a 10’ x 15’ here that I was paying 160 for so it really isn’t worth the price that it is but overall it wasn’t a terrible experience some people may not care about any of the things that were problems to me and if not, then this is the place for you, but its just not something I would do again unless I really had to because there are much better options out there in my opinion.

My storage unit reservation was also canceled. The Dublin dealer had to retrieve everything from the system and recreate the storage unit rental reservation/ contract.

Love the staff, hate the security of the facility. Also, called the corporate office to voice my concern about security and was promised a call back. Never received one.

I was just there the 15th and PAID a month worth of rent (thru 8/15) AND attached a credit card to the unit so no payment would be late. The initial setup went well, yes I would recommend a friend and say excellent! When we showed up with the moving truck 7/27/21 and they had leased our 10x10 unit to someone else. They claimed it was because we hadn't moved anything in it and that the left messages. We got ZERO phone calls or messages. They did find 2 - 5x10 units side by side for us to lease, not ideal but worked. In fear they were committed too, but my movers were there. Since we signed a lease, it shouldn't matter whether or not we EVER moved anything into the unit!!!!!

Also when I moved out I made sure to stop at the office and make sure I didn’t need to do anything else and that we were square and I didn’t owe anything else bc it was before the end of the month, but a few days later I received an email saying my account was delinquent and I owed $15 for a late fee. That was very upsetting. I’m hoping since I got this survey it means I’ve been taken out of system now.
