Absolutely not. Never this location again. The lady who checked me in was very clumsy. Attitude. Wasn’t communicating on what’s going on properly .. Stops processing me and eats her snack for couple of mins. Am I waiting for the system to process me or for her to finish her lunch.? Keeps dropping things often .. All this in what felt like 20 mins [No other customer before or after me - For her].
Sai KThe after hours return is nice to have, but a little more burdensome than I expected. I will try to avoid it in the future. I could have waited until the following morning to do what I did...but it is a nice feature.

Once I arrived I was told pick up had been changed to a location 50 miles away. While three trucks the size I ordered sat in that lot I could see as I walked in. After already driving 20 miles extra I wasn’t going to drive another 50 .
steven lI would highly suggest not having customers drive to three different stores the day of their reservation. Also a phone call that the truck isn’t available and finding one before the customer arrives on site would be helpful.

Scott JThe gentleman that received the trailer from us was a bit rude. After he unhooked the trailer he proceeds to say "well let me grab my device and see if you're even allowed to drop this off here." You could tell he didn't want to be there and I get it being it was Sunday morning, but probably shouldn't reflect those emotions on to customers.

Peter NAs someone who runs a customer service department and deals with the public on a daily basis, I know how it is to deal with people on a bad day. But woah let me tell you. Loook out. I’m normally a really calm person but not once but TWICE one of the employees was totally rude for absolutely no reason. My significant other and I are super laid back and we were SHOCKED on how they treated us. I never write reviews when I’m angry, it’s normally to rave about somewhere. And when I brought up how we were treated with one of the other workers, he completely defended her actions. I can get a bit hot headed when people are rude for no reason so I had a few choice words as I left. But there’s no reason after a stressful few hours of moving furniture that I leave in tears of anger and frustration. We all have bad days, and I get that but holy cow. I’ve never been treated like that before. Way to go Uhaul. 🙄

Victoria MMy experience was OK, but other customers didn’t get the vehicles they had RESERVED because they were rented out to others instead. The staff were disorganized, inefficient, seemed disinterested and overwhelmed. One staff member even stated loudly and sarcastically to the entire room,, “I will TRY to help the next customer in line”, as if his ability to serve them was beyond his control. Staff looked and acted unprofessional and it reflects on the business.

Phuong NI had a perfect experience. I was told to have the car there at 11:00 a.m. and the technician had it in the garage and had started the install before I even left the facility. Everyone was courteous and helpful. I even scheduled my trailer rental for next month and got a confirmation. I was sent emails letting me know what to expect and everything went smoothly. They did a great job with the hitch as well. I have a Ford Edge and was worried how it would look, but it's great.

Joshua PIt’s a really nice and clean facility. You can drive into the building bay and they have convenient rolling carts to carry everything, huge elevators and clean restrooms! The only thing I had trouble with was when I ordered a truck and storage, I couldn’t access the truck rental online to do the self check in. But it really made no difference in the scheme of things. The people were really nice and it was a quick process

Austin Dunhappy with that at store level there is no one willing to work with customer issues and complaints. Between move coordinators and store level employess there is no straight answers or ability to resolve issues due to corporate policies. Beware of the bait and switch tactics to accumulate charges on rentals.

Diego VPersonnel was very friendly & helpful. They helped me understand every step to take. I have not used Uhaul before. But I will use it again. Especially this location. Uhaul also called me the day before to ensure me reservation wad accurate. It was. However, the rep was able to find a location closer to my home instead of 30 miles away.

Peter KI’ve received calls that I owed money. At 1st it was tolls. Then it was a cracked windshield that was documented from the location in Sioux Falls, SD. Then I received an invoice for 20 plus dollars where the return mileage on the invoice showed I was over the mileage allowed but the initial invoice I got when I dropped off the truck showed I was clearly under the mileage allowed. How do you send an invoice almost 3 weeks after returning the uhaul and the return mileage is higher than the 1st invoice. Something is wrong with that.
Emilee GI was told two different stories about my refund. I never got to talk to the manager, the salespeople kept telling me that he’ll call me back. Never did. I hate this place, I’ll never do business with them again.

GAIL PI had no problem with the location. What I had a problem was the “reservation” practice. How the hell is a reservation not being honored and your reserved equipment is being rented out? This defeats the purpose of reserving equipment if you are just going to pray there is anything left. The staff was very helpful but the “reservation” practice is a joke.

Chuck KWe reserved a uhaul storage unit online through the online move in option. The website shows a Medium 10x10x10 interior unit available on the 2nd floor for $114.95/month. We completed the contract and then I received an email confirmation but it gave two unit #'s which I found to be strange. When I called, I was told that it is one unit it just has two doors. I thought.. hmm okay. We get to the unit to move in, to find they gave us two 5x10's instead of the 10x10 that we requested. This didnt work for us as we spent several hundred dollars on shelving to go inside the 10x10. When we brought this to their attention, we were told that the 10x10x10 is $165/month and we could transfer to that unit for that price. They refused to honor the signed contract based on the information the website is showing. We also informed them that the website is showing $114.95. The website has not been changed so it is still reflecting a price that is incorrect. Other people will also be mislead by this. The service was sub par.

Yashesh P | Overall ExperienceI had placed my reservation online from home and went to go access my unit at the address provided, and one older nice gentleman told me that it was actually up the street. Not a big deal, so I continue up the street and I put in through the access gate and drive and drive and don’t see any units that even come close to my unit number. They have this blue office building that I assumed was like the “main” building for that area but the entrance door was locked. We drive back and I’m explaining to the younger guy with sunglasses on at his desk that there is NOT a unit with my number over in that area. He assures me it is but can’t give me an exact answer on where. We go back up the street and the young guy is there and he goes and opens this white back door tucked away in the back and reveals that the “storage” is just this poorly made wood shack that I’m expected to think is worth the amount I paid. I expected to have like…. A normal U-Haul unit…. This was beyond words. Very creepy and just overall ignorant/false advertising. The young guy had such a smug personality, it just ruined my perception of the company. This location seriously needs to be audited by a district leader.

I had to escalate an issue with online payments just so I wouldn't keep getting charged late fees since I no longer live in the area. .my move out date says 8.9.23, but that's wrong i spoke to a lady on 7.1.23 and informed her that I would no longer be renting from them since my items in the unit smell like smoke because there were people living in the unit next to mine. She never updated my account for close.

My only complaint is I was in 1190 and the light wouldn’t stay on while I am in the storage, the timer would shut off every 5 minutes and there was no motion detector close to my unit so I would have to walk in the dark the long length of the hallway or try to use my cell phone flashlight. This was very dangerous as much as it was inconvenient, mainly if someone were in the facility to harm me and knew there was no motion sensor on that side. I do want to commend the employees for their prompt, gracious and knowledgeable attitudes toward me as a customer . This was a tremendously overwhelming time for me and their kindness and strength, their servants hearts made all the difference. Madison was my rock, courteous, a true team leader and genuinely passionate person when it came to representing U-haul and its products! I have always had great faith in U-haul and its products including the fleet you offer to assist with moves, your manageable prices and your call center support team. Keep it p U-haul you always impress me!!!

Possible allowing the use of Bluetooth or NFC to access gates and or check in/out. Just a small feature that makes public storage slightly more pleasant to store at. Typing in a code is a bit outdated but wouldn’t keep me from using U-Haul, just increase user experience.
