My initial reservation was at another U-Haul site which was not a dedicated U-Haul location. When I arrived the location, 45 minutes before my scheduled time, it was closed. This of course was after numerous email contacts confirming my reservation with instructions for 24/7 pick up. The truck was there. I spent 45 minutes combined on line and phone to get the problem resolved. It was solved and the rest of the rental experience was excellent. It’s been 36 hours and I hope the $50 credit for the inconvenience is is credited to card.

Fuel amount was not amount on invoice. Then I returned with more fuel that I took it with and was still charged a $20 fuel surcharge. Not happy at all.

Edward SkidmoreI reserved a 20 foot van weeks in advance when I showed up they said they did not have any. I even pre-paid and pre-registered. They said they only had a 26 foot truck which was too large for what I needed it but I took it anyway. When I got in the truck, the gas gauge was on the red empty line and the low level light was on. They told me it had a 16th of a tank of gas but it did not. I had to take time out of my day to go to a gas station I wouldn't have and fill up because I could not even drive it any distance or else it would've ran out of gas. I could not back it down one of the driveways where I had to unload so we had to carry the furniture. I was very dissatisfied with the service I received from U-Haul and I would never recommend them again.

The contents of my storage unit was may be valued at about $1000, so paying 25 times that makes no sense.
