After hours drop off system was not user friendly for a 69 year old non technical person such as myself. Not really sure if I did everything correct. Needs improvement. This store was clean and well stocked as well as staff was friendly and helpful. Only complaint is the website said my rental was available at a different location and even allowed me to reserve it, only to find out that NO trailers were there regardless of the one I was renting.

Only issue I had was the online drop-off system wasn't allowing me to complete the drop, but I didn't get charged the manual fee, so, I was fine with that.
Also, CRUISE CONTROL! Nowadays you'd almost pay extra to NOT have it!

The company has grown, but in the process, lost its good customer service. I picked up a truck.. I had to go find the truck myself, then drive up and load the equipment I rented as well. Three men sat behind the counter while, my tiny stature female self, tried to lift an appliance dolly up into the truck. Before, they would drive the truck up to you, fully loaded with what you were renting. I made a face when I was told I had to do it all and the guys response was, what? This is how it's done. Next time. I'll make multiple trips w my personal vehicle instead. Don't see the point of growing a company just to lose the customer service part. Disappointed

The pros of Uhaul: all of the storage units are indoors, the convenience of being able to pull my vehicle into one of the many bays for loading/unloading, access card to enter after hours, secure and safe.

When I first rented the unit back in 2021, the guys in the office were all extremely helpful. The stuff in my unit sat for the last 2 years and when I came to grab things and empty it out, everything was exactly how I left it. Never had any issues with payments. Will definitely come back if I ever need another storage unit!

I paid for 24 hours access in a smaller unit and after filling the Uhaul truck I saw that I needed a bigger unit so I changed too a bigger unit in the middle of my moving dropping off a load I couldn’t access and my truck was locked inside Uhaul My truck was stuck inside the bay after hours and I couldn’t complete my move
I came in the Uhaul office and paid again
When it should have transferred over to the bigger unit when I changed it

Excellent and easy to access facility. Very convenient for my needs. The only downside that I had was that my unit's alarm would not deactivate even after doing so on the pin pad outside, so the alarm would activate every time I accessed my unit. Other than that, I would recommend this uhaul location to anyone!

The desk guy ROCKS. The woman who cleans the place ROCKS. The women's room is immaculate. The lights come on when they should, and logging in and out is super easy. The trolleys work perfectly. As we mentioned when we closed our rental, this was absolutely the cleanest, best-kept, easiest and most user-friendly storage facility we've ever rented (and we've rented quite a few). Keep up the terrific work!

I purchased the box bundle and pricing was affordable and included enough of everything. The only concern I have is that the checkout area is behind the box area. I reserved a unit online. When I got there the unit had a giant pillar in the middle and I literally could not fit any of my boxes in. The man at the desk said the website was supposed to tell me that unit had the pillar and was supposed to give a discount. I was charged full price and had no idea about the pillar. Regardless, I would not booked the unit even at a discount if I had known it had the pillar.
This is disappointing because we packed 2 cars with boxes, dragged them in, and learned the unit could not fit any of them. Giant waste of my time. I would have appreciated being transferred to another unit but instead I had to drag everything back home.

The general manager did an amazing job explaining to me about how things operate. I don’t think he missed a step but unfortunately I’m a little slow lol but I like that it’s so secure and the precautionary measures that he takes with three phone numbers, even though I prefer him not to call them except for my number lol, but this guy’s got it going on he should have his own company not just be the general manager U-Haul. You should look into this man he should be in corporate. He probably doesn’t want the headache of that though because he seems to really enjoy doing what he does, but you guys got a star among us , he is truly somebody and something special. I moved my belongings into the storage June 2021. When I arrived the 800 number that I spoke to In texas assigned me a small storage telling me It was big enough to fit my 3 bdrm belongings in it. When it came to closing out the storage facility didn't make sense to keep cards that I would no longer have a need for or have access too at all. I would think something like this would be a companies saver to have customer return the access cards giving the customer satisfaction that they weren't going to be charged again along with the fact the card could be reused again for another customer. Just some food for thought I guess.

The two gentlemen working in the office were very nice and helpful. Both of them were great at answering any questions I had. The truck I used was clean and the storage I'm renting out was also clean. The storage unit even came with its own set of lock and keys, which I was not expecting. You can pull your car or truck into the storage area, which makes it easier to unload. There are dollies ready for use as well. All in all, it was a fast, clean, and friendly experience!

Not very comforting giving your billing information over phone and finding out noone knows where my reserved units are day of move and confirmation number they can't locate in system. Ron was helpful in getting me in 2 units, but then getting emails about payment coming out for mystery units noone can find to then getting a call stating that I never checked into my 3rd unit....I never had a 3rd Unit. The confusion they all had, time spent by me calling and trying to rectify, and rushing to empty before they possibly billed me for 4-5 units was stressful. Staff needs to be trained better and the access and communication between different Uhaul facilities in area needs to be reviewed. Ron was helpful however and when I would deal with him I felt like he was knowledgeable and I could take his word, everyone else would come in after and confuse situation.

Unlike a competitor that I had planned on going to until they made the process so challenging, my interaction with the staff at U-Haul was seamless, easy, and stress free. Additionally, I wasn't dinged for all kinds of extra charges, i.e., lock, admin fee, etc.
I am incredibly impressed with the customer service and actually am glad that the competitor made it so difficult for me that I wound up canceling my reservation with them so that I could rent storage from U-Haul.
The unit is clean, well lit, and has plenty of security thereby allowing me to feel safe storing my personal contents on-site..

Would be all 5 stars but for one issue.. The rental unit was priced $5 less a month because it has as the ad stated a "support pole" in the unit. I pictured this being a 4" or 6" round pole.. Not so, the pole is a rectangular building support pillar.. Maybe measures 3'x18". It takes up a lot of the unit space and makes things difficult. I wish the ad would of been clear on the size of the support pillar.. Or discounted more than $5 a month.

I never used a storage before, but being a senior I needed to declutter my basement in order to rearrange and redecorate the area. I like being able to park indoors because of bad weather now. Having the use of carts to transport from vehicle to unit is so easy and quick. I like the 5x10 with the 10 foot door to be able to see and get at something I need easier. I liked it so much I rented another to work on my garage also.

He informed me he would not be there when I came in but his co-worker would be able to assist me. When I went in person, that employee confirmed everything I was told on the phone. I was shown "model" storage units and was able to choose from there. I felt no pressure to choose, which was great. Bonus was first month free, free lock and keys, first floor units, climate controlled and facility is extremely clean as well. I will definitely refer people to this storage facility.

Great, clean new facility. Was rented a storage unit with a big beam through the middle of it, Mali got unusable. The staff was quick to change my unit. However I got a call yesterday saying I was behind on my rent. They had never taken the original unit off my account. It was quickly fixed but would have also been easily avoided.
Still happy with my rental and love that it’s an indoor climate controlled environment.

I was told, after I filled out all requested information, that a card, debit or credit was needed on file, which I gave but made sure it was understood I would be paying in cash and then I was told I have to sign a document stating my card will be drawn from if I'm late to pay, this should have been explained to me from the beginning and I submitted all my information and card information, as I wouldn't have wasted my time nor given my card information to a stranger, but while I waited in line a lady ahead of me was making a late payment and the uhaul employee said nothing about drawing funds from her account and said to her that he was waiving her late fees as if she didn't have a card on file. Just a terrible experience and seemed discriminatory.

The only thing I would suggest is to place better signs stating where room numbers are. When I moved in, I could not open the map and it took a bit to figure out the numbering system.
