I asked for the hand dollie to be removed but was told it was against company policy. This made it hard for me loading large pallets into the truck. One side was a hump and the other side was the handdollie. Was not happy.

DAVID IRTHUMMy reservation was for a drive up unit, however, when I arrived, I was told my reserved unit was not available. I was given an unit on the second floor with no elevator nor dolly available for rental. This was very frustrating. If uhaul would have notified me of this, when I made the reservation, I could have made other arrangements. Don't wait until someone shows up, then inform them their previously reserved unit is not available.

The store itself had a good variety and supply of products inside, such as packing materials, and the overall experience was a good one. The only negative aspect of this store is the location/traffic. Perhaps I was just there at an oddly busy time for that street but there was a line of traffic on the side street waiting to get on the highway, normally this wouldn’t be any concern but at this location you have to go out onto that street to drive from the front of the store to the back of the store to pickup your trailer. ..I will say though that at least the locals (some at least) were polite enough to let me through, I did have to drive over the opposite curb an onto the grass to make the turn with traffic present but my pickup doesn’t turn sharply at all so maybe someone in a cuv/suv wouldn’t have that problem.

We rented a dollie only to find out it wasn’t in the truck when we got to packing it. Called and was told they don’t rent Dollie’s for a 1 way. Would have been nice knowing that when we rented one. Truck was very uncomfortable
mindy evansMake sure vehicle doesn't have problems that can and do cause concern for customers, such as electrical issues and leaking doors. Make it clear that in order to use the app to p/u the equipment that the customer MUST be on/at the rental facility.
Camille BourgI arrived to my scheduled appointment and was told to come back the next day since the person who installs them wasn’t there. I was frustrated since I had taken time off work, but I came back the next day. The hitch was installed, but took longer than expected to the point where I was late to work since I did not take that day off. The wiring for the hitch lights were defective so I had to make another appointment at a different location to get those installed. This whole process has taken three days when it should only take a couple hours.

She was very knowledgeable and explained everything to me very thoroughly and I was totally shocked how quick and easy it was. It was also very quick and easy to return the vehicle later this evening. I definitely would come back to this location from now on. Please do not change a thing, because renting it and returning it went entirely too fast, which I was on a time schedule and that worked out great for me. JOSEPH RELF JRI rented 2 cargo vans on our corporate acct. And when we went to pick up, there were two vans there but we were only able to have one. The second van was "Not Available"....because apparently the Keys were missing!!

Malcolm RodriguezI have frequented this location twice and my experience with them has been generally favorable. One slight issue I had with this visit is I was told there were no trailers capable of moving a couch and that I would need to rent a truck. However when I went to retrieve the truck there were several trailers available with more than enough room for a couch. Not sure if they were already reserved or if the person at the desk was misinformed but a 5 x 8 or 5x 10 would have been more than enough.

The store manager was not helpful in resolving the issue of my card being charged for an extra day. I think there needs to be some retraining of the employees on at bare minimum, because the process wasn’t explained, I was just to to bring the van back and park it, not that I would be charged a service fee for doing so.

Marvin AndersonI rented a van at 5:45pm. I self returned it at 7:58pm the same day. I understand the office being closed, but to be charged for 2 days, for less than 3 hours is a bit much in my opinion. I told the agent when I picked it up that it would probably be after closing when I return, due to the time it was picked up. I was told I wouldn’t be charged as long as it was returned the same day. Of course, when I called for an explanation, I was informed that it was computer generated. So U-Haul got over again. I would have came out cheaper hiring someone to pick up my package for me…

Arnold AndersonVivian needs to improve her customer service. She continued to carry on a personal conversation with her coworker while intermittently assisting me in my truck rental. When there was a discrepancy in the rental, instead of thoroughly explaining that items are first-come-first serve, she buried her head in her hands in an apparent display of frustration rather than providing said explanation. It was her coworker that noticed the discrepancy and explained to me the issue to which I was able to make an informed decision in how to proceed with the sale. I am never returning to this location and will recommend others to patronize another location or use your competitor Penske.

Richard HarveyDuring the time my belongings were stored with U-Haul, my rental rate went up six times with the following statement as an explanation for the increase: $1,990 in additional charges based on this statement in each letter notifying me of an increase: “My staff and I pride ourselves on maintaining a clean, dry, and secure self-storage facility and are dedicated to improving your storage experience. We complete daily inspections of the property to proactively improve facility maintenance and security, as well as conduct a monthly pest control program to adhere to our superior cleanliness standards.” In the end, I paid an additional $1,990.00 for this promise of cleanliness and pest control. But when I came with movers to clear out my storage unit on 7/24/23, I discovered that every piece of upholstered furniture, carpets, wooden items, art, and some clothing had all been destroyed by vermin. While the staff was friendly and helpful and the insurance I'd paid for covered most of the damage, I am angry that I paid $1,990.00 for enhanced cleanliness and pest control under completely false pretenses; if the management at that time had actually done what they promised in exchange for higher rent, my belongings wouldn't have been destroyed. I feel ripped off, and I certainly would not recommend this facility to anyone.

We pulled in and walked in the building and where told I'm on the phone with my momma you have to wait. 4 minutes later is when we finally started getting help if you want to call it that. We where eligible for a free month storage in a climate controlled unit when we arrive thats not the case. They tryed to charge us for the month and then it wasn't even a controlled unit. After getting 2 managers they finally agreed to hold up to the offer. Not a climate controlled unit. We where then displaced because of hurricane Ida. We called to see if they could pro rate a few days because we where not in the area where told no very rudely. Told us that if we didn't have the stuff out by thrusday the 16 by 4 we would be charged again. We dropped everything and came to get the stuff out when I went to check out I was again almost charged for somthing that was agreed apon. After 20 minutes waiting for a manager to come assist me to figure it out and talk about the damage to my materials in the unit was rudely told nothing we can do here have to claim online. Horrible customer service no one I know will be renting from your company.

When I shared this information with an employee and the manager I was threatened by the manager that my lock would be cut off if I did not come to remove it. The lock was on the storage space they charged me for but I did not have access to it. Needless to say I will not do business with this facility again. Most of the staff members were truly great and helpful but that manager has got to go.
