Al SU-Haul changed out pickup and drop off location multiple times. We drove from the pickup to our house to the drop off and not a mile more. We weren’t given enough miles to make this trip. Anyone with a map can see that. And we were charged $27 extra for mileage. That’s a scam!

Jason SEnsure equipment is correctly tagged when returned - I returned the equipment as instructed and then received calls indicating it was missing. The CSR was polite and heard my story, went to search the lot and (happily) must have found it as I received the automated receipt not long afterwards. Still, I fear I would have been considered responsible if it had gone missing in the interim.
Christopher GPerfect service. On return, I didn't even need to back the trailer into a spot; I just approved the payment and the payment method. Unless you need a trailer every day, why would you ever consider owning one?
Conrad RRhonda was very helpful in helping us learn how to hook up and use the towing dolly -- she stayed with us until we were confident we could safely use the equipment. The equipment worked well.
kent pTyler, the employee who assisted me, was by far the best associate at UHaul who has ever helped me. He had a good answer for everything and moved the process along as speedily as can be expected. I have rented from UHaul on multiple occasions and generally have to wait a really long time for hook up but not this time. It was done professionally and had add ons, like checking my tires for proper inflation. Out standing.

LEONARDO VA truck is a truck and too many alternate locations. Thomas, a so-called "Assistant Manager," was one of the worst employees I have ever seen in any business. I won't waste another penny at this location... I'd rather pay double somewhere else before going to this location again. Called me an "idiot," and told my wife I was "ignorant" and a "jerk" all because I wouldn't fold a dozen blankets for him.
Ron CJose was knowledgeable and helpful suggesting additional products for our needs. Although we didn’t need the rental for the full time we expected the return was also seamless and easy. I did not receive our receipt within a few hours and he also emailed it so that we received it very quickly.

MICHAELANTHONY M | Overall ExperienceI have had this storage unit since 2015 and I moved out of it on 4/27/2023. My billing cycle is the 20th of every month. I asked the office staff prior to moving out (I stopped by the office on April 19th, 2023) since I was moving out one week after the billing date if the rate would be prorated and the office staff told me yes, but the owner would have to take care of it and that he had seen him do it for others when they closed out their account. When I went to office to close out my account, I encountered Robbie Necessary who apparently was the owner. He was more concerned with telling us how he could have matched the price on the truck we had to move (as we went with one of your competitors because the rate was so much better) and that when we needed another truck he would give us a discount since we were such good, long term customers. When we closed out the account, Robbie did not provide me with a close out receipt and when I asked about the proration, he told me no, that he did not prorate. I asked him “so, I’ve only had the storage unit for a week and I have to pay for the entire month?” He was dismissive and told me “sorry, that’s Uhaul’s policy” and walked away. I told him he needed to make sure that he educated his staff because that is not what I was told a week ago. He wanted me to describe who I spoke to and when I did, he was adamant that everyone i described didn’t work for him and walked away from me again. He was more concerned with talking to a young female that was behind the counter with him. He made it a point to tell me and my husband that he looks after her like “her daddy”. I found that to be very disturbing. I also believe it is completely unfair that I am being charged for an entire month when I only had the unit for one week. I will be following up with a call to the corporate office on Monday.

Of course, I couldn't answer the phone because there were customers in the office, but I hope that Johnny's operating system will be changed by a good-natured and kind manager. No matter how busy the office is, any employee can simply “pick up the phone directly and say a short guide.” If you ask for your understanding, please wait for a while. .” Obviously, a very important and sure fact is that most of the customers who have already visited the office in person can wait for their orders while watching the situation in the office. However, if one of the employees does not answer the phone indifferently even though it is urgent or to come or simply to ask a question, it is not possible to see the feelings of the customers who made the call in the office. It will spread to other future guests. I hope you will consider it carefully. Thank you.
