The truck I rented was dirty , half full & also drug paraphernalia was in the truck on the floorboard. Time the manager he offered an apology but did nothing to rectify the problem

Great Staff, the lady who rented me the truck was very nice.
Demarcus BrewerMy vehicle wasn’t reserved, I had to take an extra 30 mins to get it sorted while the person helping me also had to wait in a really bad area.

I ordered supplies a month in advance, showed up and they didn't have my utility dolly as expected for move and a 3 hour drive. This is the third time I have ordered things from a U-haul location and showed up and is basically told oh well. I was charged for the dolly and the only way to get it off was to redo the whole order which and Tiffany offered to do but kinda suggested it would take her a long time. To top it off, my gas tank was barely at a 1/4 tank and there was broken glass in the back of the truck. Very unprofessional and not sure I would rent again from U-haul, just worrisome that the basic work is not being done in the front of the store, then is U-haul servicing their trucks and taking care of the maintenance of the trucks? Such a slippery slope when you see a company going down and nothing is being done to improve anything.

Didn't matter for me as I wasn't moving anything with fabric, but it would have been bad if I put a mattress or something in there. Other than that, the staff was polite and quick with service. ROBERT RICE4 stars. Homeless people stay in the way and a roach was in my unit. Only saw one but other than that excellent units. I love how you can reverse the trucks or your vehicle and load or unload your stuff in the garage area. The homeless are always acting like their moving or sorting stuff but they just hang out during bussiness hours.
Jaquez Harlan | Overall ExperienceI had a reservation at Dream Auto, 108th & Blondo in Omaha, for Saturday, 12/2 at 9 a.m. I arrived on time to find the location closed on Saturdays, with a signage on the door that says, "Saturdays by Appointment Only." It's 25 degrees outside that morning. After contacting U-Haul, mobile pickup is not available at that location, & no other trucks in the size I needed are available, but they recommend I pick up a different size on 18th St, 100 blocks from my location, which added considerably to mileage costs. They put me in a 10' truck with no gas in it just to get me in a truck. Ask yourself how upset you'd be if you were 7 hours from home & this happened to you. We ran out of daylight before we finished our move, the smaller truck resulting in more trips. We also returned the truck with half a tank of gas. Not quite sure how that worked out with the billing with respect to having picked it up empty. Please check my customer history for how many rentals I have with you. I'm requesting a credit of some kind for the terrible inconvenience. Thank you.

They were friendly and helpful especially given that it was me (a 22 year old female) and my friend (21 year old female) renting for the first time and we were under heavy stress worried about messing up the rental process. The employees ensured everything went as smooth as possible and we would totally do it again!

Jack SeitzThey told the truck had full tank of gas it was on empty. It look like a bag of potato chip was behind the driver seat.i cleaned most of it out of the truck. When I pick up the truck the miles on was 17008 but the rental paper said 16819 that 186 mile I never put on the truck. I was charged that extra miles on my bill. I only put 293 miles total on the truck. They estimated $255 total I was charged $405 and turn the truck in 2 day early. I was over charged big time. I was in a hurry to get to work the morning I turn the truck back in but told the person . What my paper on the mileage said and had a picture on my phone what the actual mile was showing the truck number mileage and truck on empty with one picture. It's Thanksgiving today but Friday morning I will be at the store when they open. Not a happy customer.

When I went in to give the key I was the only one online and one employee was on the phone and the other employee was standing at the computer I stood there for a little while saying hello and the employee at the computer saying just a moment. They charged me for an extra day for being 30min late. Even though I called and tried to extend the truck and was told that I couldn’t extend because it had already been rented. I told the girl that I would be about 30min to an hour returning it and she said she would make a note and it would be fine.

Some substitute employee, from a different facility, gave our RESERVED unit to someone else. It was the last one in the size we needed. Tristan jumped into action finding us two units that met our needs, at a discounted price, gave us a free month of rent, and a free lock for the extra unit. Tristan worked hard to solve this issue. The other regular staff are amazing and are very customer service oriented. I don’t think that employee from “old style U-Haul” works at our location very often. I highly recommend the Downtown Omaha facility.
