Mark GTruck was fine, but motorcycle trailer was not (#73352159). I have used the trailer before to move other motorcycles, e.g., Suzuki Boulevard and Kawasaki KLR650. This time, the trailer caused significant damage to my motorcycle's main bearing shell on the engine block. This occurred during using ramp as there is insufficient clearance to load a STOCK 2006 Triumph Rocket III onto a trailer designed for motorcycles! Double checking all the UHual literature, there is only mention of length, width, and weight--nothing about clearance and that some models may not have sufficient clearance (or a way to premeasure prior to rental, or at least models that do not have sufficient clearance). Fortunately, I paid for insurance; unfortunately, dealing with UHual insurance (RepWest) has not been as positive. The more evidence I am providing that the bike was damaged via normal loading with UHual provided trailer & ramp, the more I suspect the insurance company wants to skirt paying for the damage. Note: to unload the bike without damaging it a second time, the motorcycle repair shop had to use their longer ramp to prevent the engine bottom from contacting the ramp/trailer floor. If this is what it is like to receive service for an insurance claim, I will likely not ever pay for extra insurance again (even only at $8 per rental). Location, people, et cetera at the Ownings Mills are all 4-5star/great/fine...just my experience with the motorcycle trailer loading the stock motorcycle was not, which is why end result of 1-2 stars.

Shanyl BTire pressure sensor (warning light) was constantly on due to replacement part not received by U-Haul location according to employees.
Keith WU-haul requires local dealers take incident / issue responsibility which corporate should own. My U-Box arrived with a different lock. Our box was entered by U-Haul with no notification. We could not access the U-Box. Had to rent a lock cutter from hardware store and file a police report. After talking to eight different U-Haul representatices from support, help desk, insurance, local offices, storage, scheduling, etc, I was given an answer to go away. I have been a loyal U-Haul customer for years. After this experience, I will not use or recommend to any friends or family use U-Haul. I would recommend modernizing your computer systems. Was told multiple times system is down or access to my records was not available. I believe U-Haul is not a trustworthy company after this experience. Keith Pickens (262) 844-4775.

william vThe 1st pod that was delivered had a messed up latch. Some of the older pods probably need to be taken out of commission. The driver, Rhonda Chalk, went out of her way to go back to Owing Mills and bring back a better pod. Great customer service!!

patrease mThe boxes are cheap and ripped easily. Even when not heavy. The tape didn’t stick. Had to go buy scotch brand packing tape. I really wasted a lot of money on the supplies.

Rodnita MThe only reason why I gave them average because I am used to them bring the truck up, and I had to do my own inspection without an associate and take pictures. the gas was not set right. the pictures of the truck what here on the log was blurry and I had to take lots of pictures to show the damage that was on the truck prior to myself driving it and its time consuming as I do not want to get charged for things that I did not do. Also, I did not ask for moving pads or a dolly and it was already in the back of the truck, and I had to remove the dolly to fit the items in the truck. so I had to break the green tag to move it out of the way taking more time than anticipated. also, the bag of moving blankets hanging was in the way as well. If I did not order it, please do not put it on the truck.

Justine WReturning of the vehicle automatically shut down prior to my completing the process online. Using the app to return the vehicle failed to work at all. Therefore, I have no idea what my final bill is. Waited 15 minutes alone in the storefront for someone to assist me in checking out a vehicle eventhough I had a 6:00 pickup time.
