David HromasUHaul lied and cheated me. I asked for a hitch to haul a 20 ft. travel trailer camper. This is all new to me so I was dependent upon what I thought were professionals. They not only put on the incorrect hitch but also the wrong wiring. I told them at least 3 times what exactly I needed. I also had them verify to me before I left that this was exactly what I needed. I was assured by them that I would have no problem towing my camper. I went to pick up my camper and was told it was all wrong (after paying $557.05). I then had to purchase another hitch for over $1,100 and have it installed. The UHaul hitch is now in the back of my car. I tried to return it but got no help and was treated rudely by the employees. They have cheated and lied to me. I will never use them or recommend them again. I will contact as many people as I can to let them know about their poor treatment of customers and poor service and poor knowledge and understanding of their customers' needs. So unprofessional!

Alan GrossoAlthough management at this facility holds a grudge against me for having a late return of a U-Haul and therefore, I don’t believe I could approach either of them if I were to have any sort of concerns or issues; I still do believe this facility is kept up with quite well. Before, I would ever need to inquire about another unit or issue, etc. i’m not entirely confident in maintaining at this facility due to the struggle to communicate with management. I rent a lot of U- Hauls, like renting a truck almost every week, a lot. At that frequency, eventually, things can happen causing a late return. I now visit another facility when renting trucks, as this location pretty much told me to go pi** up a rope the last time I tried renting a truck. That’s not quote for quote but in summary. Otherwise, I don’t feel this location could be kept up any better. Floors are clean and nothing noticeable that’s left in need of repair. Parking lot is easy to maneuver around in. No complaints.

Gregory BarnhartHello, my family was making our first cross country military move. We reserved a 26’ft truck 2 weeks prior to moving day. The day before our reserved pickup we went to the location to get furniture covers and confirm our reservation. The representative, Jenn confirmed our reservation and said everything was in order. The next day when we came to pick up our truck, the same rep worked with us. She pulled up the contract and asked me to sign. I noticed that the truck was not a 26’ft but a 20’ ft. I told her this was incorrect and she said “we don’t have a 26ft truck available so we downgraded you to a 20’ft truck”. I said what about the one sitting in the parking lot. She said “that truck is for local use only” I explained that I ordered a 26’ ft truck because that’s what we needed a 20’ ft. Truck would not be big enough. She explained “someone should have called you to inform you of the change.” I asked her when someone would have called me and she said looks like yesterday. I informed her I received no call and even checked my call history. I was in the store yesterday so why didn’t she tell me then. Her answer was “ I only read what’s on the screen. Would you like to sign the new contract?” I told her NO and explained that I would have to call around cause I need a 26ft truck. I called the corporate line and they totally ignored the issue and stated there was nothing they could do. There were no other locations or companies that could get me a truck on time so we accepted the 20ft truck. The following day I returned to pick up a trailer and Jenn was there again. She asked me how the 20ft truck worked out? I told her it didn’t we had to leave behind a lot of things. Her response was, “ oh that’s just the worst isn’t it, When you move and there just isn’t enough space.” I couldn’t believe this response!!! NO WAY! She knew this was a problem I informed her it would be! At this I simply asked her if my trailer was ready for pickup and moved on. The whole time this location was the freaking problem!!! I couldn’t believe how poor the customer service was. It is safe to say I will NEVER use U-Haul again. I will also do my best to make sure friends and family never use U-Haul. This location is terrible and the fact that they are next to a military base, so they have a large customer base, and they know people have limited options allows them to give poor service with little care of the repercussion. How can you improve? Have the customers original order available. Be transparent and make multiple attempts to contact a customer of changes.

Kate BrokawOnly issue i had was the deceptive pricing. All advertised prices are $20-$30, and as usual the bill comes in around $130. Not necessarily too high, but i do think it should be made clear its going to cost that much. Ive used the services before so i knew to expect it, but again it would be better to advertise a price closer to actual cost.

Juan MarquezThe only issue I had with my U-Haul experience concerned the price I paid. I visited the location in person on a Friday and received a written "quote" of $126 + tax for the rental I needed. On the following Monday, I called the location and requested the "quote" be changed to a "reservation" and my information was verified with no mention of a pricing change; however, two days later I went to pick up the rental trailer at 8:00 AM and discovered the rental fee had changed from $126 to $186. The only explanation given for the increase was, "Sometimes the prices change." Although U-Haul was concerned enough to text me multiple times over the weekend, asking me if I was wishing to upgrade my quote to a reservation, they apparently did not feel it was important to notify me that, "Sometimes the prices change" - even when that change is almost a 50% increase on the quoted price. It's very unfortunate that an overall excellent experience of renting from U-Haul has to be marred by a significant, unmentioned price change. Lesson learned - before deciding to rent from U-Haul again, I'll be sure to verify a concrete price.

I intentionally reserved this vehicle at a different location which was more convenient to me. I also received email confirmation of the reservation at the preferred location. Uhaul moved the location without notifying me and causing confusion on the day of pickup. Locations should never be changed without notificaiton.

So my phone happened to be dead, was exhausted from moveing myself with a toddler long distance and to get treated so poor by management i didnt even want a storage thru them or ever deal with them again

After having our rates almost doubled and then shopping around this U-Haul facility is almost double every other facilities monthly rate and the other facilities offer way more features for 1/2 the monthly rate examples include gated security access, 24x7 access, 24x7 monitored security, RV insurance etc

All well and good. The only down side was that U-Haul repositioned the assigned parking spaces to “back in” spaces rather than the original “drive through” spaces! It is much easier to drop off your trailer in a drive through. Other than the slight disappointment the customer service is great, easy payments and personally contacted via text or phone with any updates.

She goes beyond expectations to understand and service the customer to ensure complete satisfaction. She listens, understands customers’ needs and problems and come up with amicable best possible solution. She is a human first and puts herself in the customer's shoes and walks in the customer's shoes to ensure customer complete satisfaction. I have used U-Haul for many years even before the internet age and I have never met anyone or great individual like Mrs. Holbrook. She is caring, calm under pressure, extremely knowledgeable in what she does and above all always there for the customer regardless of time of the day and/or circumstances. She came to my rescue though off for the day at night and could have been spending time with family. When I had a problem, rather than make me wait till morning and at office hours, gladly reached out to help at that very odd hour in the morning that nobody else could have done. Mrs. Holbrook is an asset for U-Haul and U-Haul is lucky to have her as an employee and manager. With her skillsets and knowledge, Mrs. Holbrook is more than qualified to hold any higher position in U-Haul and continue doing fantastic caring job. Please help me congratulate Mrs. Holbrook for job well-done day-in-day-out and acknowledge and compensate her appropriately please. She is a keeper especially in these days where great employees are basically not commonplace or non-existent. She also works well with her crew who in-turn also work very hard to service customers well. I wish U-Haul had more Mrs. Holbrook and because of her selflessness and professionalism, I plan to continue giving my business first to U-Haul and recommend friends and others as appropriate. I could go on writing about this great human, but I'm sure you know how gratifying I am to have met her for my move solution. Because of Mrs. Holbrook, I will always be grateful to U-Haul for providing me with a satisfying peaceful moving experience.
