The young man who helped me finish my check out/in. Was very helpful. I should have gotten his name. The truck was old seatbelt indicator would stay on haul indicator as well. Windows didn’t seal. You could hear all sounds coming in from outside. The truck was just old. It did get the job done though.

JOHN PI was charged more miles than I drove. I used the trip button to keep track of my miles. I drove 23 miles but was charged 90 miles. I was also charged for insurance and gas. I paid for 30 miles but returned the truck and was charged nearly $250
Karl P | First ImpressionsThe drop-off instructions weren't clear, and I was almost penalized when my employer directed me to just leave the keys in the truck. Then, two days later, when I realized my rental was still active, customer service informed me that next time I should insist on getting a receipt. After that phone call, I received a call from the drop-off location asking when I was going to return the truck. They then charged me for going over the mileage and not leaving the correct amount of gas. When I told the representative that I had, he apologized and said sometimes they mark it incorrectly, and refunded me. I like U-Haul and will still use their services, but they should really work on making the checkout process more seamless and efficient.

Robert AI reserved a truck in the evening, and when I got there my pick up was delayed as they wanted to give me a truck with no gas and trying for me take it with a discount according to the office personal, yet I had to return it with a 1/4 of a thank wich I feel would of added to what I paid for the truck with fuel. And then had to wait for them to get me a truck that actually had gas. Delayed my departure to go pick my stuff.
Denis MOnly problem I have is that uhaul has bad telephone ☎️ services because every time I call down at soutmountian uhaul they put me on hold for hours then they forget about me Waiting on phone everytime that happens one time one Hispanic gentleman told he apologized to me about me Waiting on phone he even said they have bad phone service.

I HAVE BEEN GETTING EMAILS FOR OVER TWO YEARS!! I DO NOT OWE ANYTHING. THE REASON THE TRUCK WAS DROPPED OFF IN MESA WAS DUE TO THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT COMING ON. I DID NOT FEEL SAFE DRIVING IT BACK TO SOUTH MOUNTAIN. I SEND PICTURES OF THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT BEING ON AND I WAS TOLD VIA EMAIL DAYS BEFORE I PICKED UP THE TRUCK IT HAD SOME WORK DONE ON IT. CHECK YOUR RECORDS AND STOP EMAILING ME. THANKS

DOLORES LIf the customer wants to have a good experience, have them see Edwin at your location on 340 E. Baseline. He was helpful and professional. I explained to him the nature of our move, and he was sympathetic to the loss of my Mother. His kindness is something you can't teach, it comes from within. He made things easy and seemed happy to help. He was also there upon return to make the whole process smooth.
Terry RMy entire experience was stellar until the last rental and and the closure of my storage account. I reached s 10’ truck to recover all items from my storage space. The unit has AC additional lock on it that El was put on by the facilities management. When I inquired about it, I was told that it might be on because the Unit was in arrears, which it was not. Payments had been made by direct debit. After records were checked, the additional lock was removed. This was very incorrect l inconvenient since I had just rented a truck to revive my belongings and was now “on the clock” so to speak. When I returned the truck clean and with the amount of gas required, I handed the keys to an employee and advised him that the dolly I rented was in the truck. He advised that a receipt would be sent via email with the final charges. On 03/14 I see that I had been charged a total 285.00!!! Coroner service advised that these charges arose from a missing dolly fee and a late return of the truck which is not possible because I returned the truck during business hours within the required timeframe and have the keys to an employee. I would like my 200.00 refunded immediately. This is horrible business!!

Martin MI reserved a trailer and chose the optional $8 towing coverage. When I went to pick up the trailer today, this location was charging me $11 for the coverage even though my online receipt showed it for $8. The associate then said “they didn’t update the website price” and still charged me the $11. I know it’s only $3 difference but the price I agreed to online should have been honored.

To top it off the 10 ft was labeled as "one bedroom/ studio apt... uhuh I had to make two runs. And please tell me why ramps are not a standard feature with all "moving" vehicles ? 100 percent not satisfied and still waiting on my refund.

I remember needing help removing the trailer from the uhaul truck and they refused to help. when they were the ones who put it on? My disabled VETERAN father had to come out and try to help remove the trailer. Then one of the guys who worked there saw me waiting in the front and stayed in the back so he wouldnt have to help me? I will forsure be paying more money to work with a different company for my moving and storage.

I wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone as they seem to make up their own rules and not a reflection of my overall UHaul experience. Very poor experience with this location.

(Dangerous) yo grite y corri..nadie se inmuto...:( Pero en general aunque no fue perfecto,cumplio su funcion , y edtsmos muy agradecidos por ayudarnos en esta dificil situacion durante epoca de Pandemia y perdida de un ser querido.!! David L | Overall ExperienceThis is the first time I’ve ever had a negative experience with UHaul. For starters, this location which is normally well staffed only had one rep at the counter. While the rep was very helpful it was obvious he was overwhelmed. To make matters worst I was later told the facility closed at 7:30 pm and customers could not access the location. Something I had never experienced at any other UHaul storage facilities and very unacceptable. When i expressed my concerns I was told people were caught sleeping on site. If true, you hire security not limit access. I was very disappointed in my experience and would not recommend this location to anyone.

And began laughing (In front of another customer) I repeated that I needed help and he said it again. Not sire if he was being racist or trying to be funny but I thought this was being very disrespectful. I need this unit but I will never recommend this place to anyone for that type of service.

Christianna H | Overall ExperienceStorage units are alarmed individually which is really nice. The facility is clean and they have bays you can pull into to load and uload. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Besides a couple small hiccops (which really didn't affect my experience) the experience was really good. Definitely recommend this location.
SCOTT W | Overall ExperienceFirst of all, I rented a enclosed trailer from you guys. Pulling it was like pulling a dead horse through quick sand. (Iowa to Arizona) this trailer would slow me down if I tapped on my brakes due to a car going slower in front if me the I could feel the trailer pulling me back. Going down a hill it would it would pull against me and made my vehicles transmission Rev up to 500/600 rpm's before it would shift down. I'm very upset about the crappy equipment and I'm sure the ware on my vehicle will show in time. Gas mileage was at least 3x higher then average. Then after driving all night to make sure I got to your location to upload it before my time was up. Every u haul except for the hubble location in dsm, IA were rude with NO CUSTOMER RESPECT! When I went to return the trailer I used your storage just so I wasn't charged extra. So I told the gentlemen I was rented a unit so I could put my things in there so it was unloaded on time. I mentioned that I was disabled, drove all night only to be put in a unit A LONG WAY FROM THE ENTRANCE! I FELT LIKE I WAS GONNA HAVE ANOTHER STROKE FROM UNLOADING IT. While unloading the trailer I noticed so many empty units. My question is why??? Why did I get a unit so far away being disabled. This is discrimination towards disabled folks. All of the folks I had to deal with(except Hubbell) were rude and had no respect towards me the customer. I WILL NEVER RENT ANYTHING AGAIN! I'll make sure I let everyone know how I was treated. THE gentleman in Oklahoma who I stop to talk to about the issues I was having made me feel like I was stupid. Sorry I actually think I knew more then him. He asked me to pop my hood, I was like Hu. But I did pop it open only to see he didn't know how to unlatch it. He then left to go help someone else. So I got out after seeing he had no clue how too. So I opened it up. He finally came back and he pulled the dip stick and said yup oil is fine. I almost cried laughing. I said dude oil has NOTHING to do with this issue. Just because I was aady he thought I was stupid. My anger grew even higher. By the time I left there nothing was solved. It's time for your company to get up to date with equipment. There's campers lighter then the dead horses you rent. Disrespect for folks with Disabilities is against the law. Might want to have better training on this subject.

CJ B | Overall ExperienceI was only planning on staying for 30 days so my storage was free. My condo closing got postponed so I needed to pay for seven days of storage. In order to get this paid, I was on the phone several different times for over four hours. I couldn’t pay on-line because it couldn’t “locate me account.” I will never use U-Haul again.

Skye H | First ImpressionsThe staff = very good. This is however a former H-depot or Big box store and so you cannot easily drive up & unload big items . We had a 3 bedroom house & my 2 children and I TRULY struggled to get our stuff through a smaller (like a front door width) back door of facility. I was told ALL the front units near the double doors were ‘in use’. They should advise location of doors & size in the climate controlled areas. It’s COVID times and everyone needs storage - but not a great choice for me . I advise go and “see” units available FIRST! It IS however SPOTLESSLY clean.

I just don't like being unable to access storage when I'm supposed to be allowed to. When I went to move out it seemed that the employees there were very nonchalant about the situation. Even a simple apology would have been fine, but the fact that you just really showed no care shows your don't care about your customers.
San J | Overall ExperienceThe facility needs a lot of work. The doors to enter don’t work all the time. The staff is the most incompetent group of individuals I have ever met. Anytime I’ve had to go into the office to buy or rent anything it’s a minimum of 1 hour ordeal, that’s if I can find anyone. Half the time when I walk in the office there are no employees to be found. I will not spend another dime with U-Haul, and I will also advise all of my friends and family to spend their money elsewhere.
