The customer service at both locations was great. The employees were knowledgeable - my only complaint was that the storage unit was located on the complete other side of the building from where my truck was able to unload which was designated spot for customers in uhaul. It took about an hour or more longer than we would have expected to unload due to this hurdle. I suggest maybe making another entrance for customers or telling them ahead of time this process if applicable - but overall I appreciate the consistent wonderful customer service uhaul offers- it’s refreshing -

However, the truck had strong cleaning odor, being asthmatic, this caused a problem. The check engine light came on several times, loud motor sounds and tried to die out several times during trip. The self return option, to avoid $20 fee, was frustrating and hard to find in app.
Lisa BaughnThey opened on time. They did not have the truck we reserved, but they did have the auto transport. We also got a brief lecture on how this location does not use reservation numbers to locate a reservation. We rented our truck at a different UHaul location and returned to Versailles 2 days later for the auto transport. We were told that we would have to load their own vehicle on to the auto transport and secure the vehicle. The employee (who was filling in for a sick boss) did not know how to do it. We ended up driving the empty transport to the Lexington Merchant Street location and those people quickly and cheerily got our vehicle secured to the auto transport. It's great to have a Versailles UHaul location, but this place has repeatedly had problems.

Not to mention charges for $30 in taxes that I didn't get on my 2nd rental. Uhaul representative needs to call me. You guys owe me explanation and some money.

Then came back the next day and the representative I spoke with was not informed on how to manage storage unit rentals and was not sure if he actually closed out my unit or not. Also was not able to answer my questions relating to the unit closure. Gave me a number to call to see if he actually closed out the account. Also the storage facility is dirty and not well maintained
ELAINE SANDERS | Overall ExperienceI got to the facility at 730 that said opened at 7 door was locked and no one was around. So I called and completed a 24/7 rental , the truck wouldn’t start because it was out of gas so I had to go home get a gas can and put in the truck before I could even leave. Then over the next 2 days the truck broke down on me 4 times I had to extend my reservation in order to get everything done due to the delays. Horrible experience

james acke | First ImpressionsEverything has been spectacular and way above expectations aside from one minor issue we ran into. When we signed up, there was a promo for a free lock. The confirmation email for the rental said that we could proceed to the unit and the lock would be waiting for us inside. When we went to move in all of our belongings, there was no lock to be found anywhere and we had to drive across the street to Kroger to spend $16 on a disc lock ourselves (we were there after hours). Aside from that, we have loved everything about the rental and property.

I only got to move 25% of my furniture as my helpers all ahead to leave at 5 pm. If the equipment had performed we would have easily had all our furniture moved by early afternoon Roadside support is a joke. Should have used another company. Will not use UHaul again. Workers at site were kind and understanding I think I should have gotten my money back or at least been compensated for U-Haul not providing a safe and reliable product. My love was ruined. Now will be moving all the Christmas holiday Not Happy. Zero Stars

Alyx Whidden#6 question is more of a maybe than a yes. Customer service at this location is really poor. CS reps can barely figure out the computer (always messing up) every time I come in, nor do they seem to want to assist. Work attitude at this location needs to change.

The people behind the desk have no idea what they are doing nor do they seem to care - outside of Rose. The last couple of times I have gone in there to rent something, the computer is "messing up". I feel like it is user error from what I can see. I really think the attitude at this location needs to change. Customer service is very poor. I do need to rent from this location from time to time, so I really hope the attitude to work changes.

I was charged for three days instead of one day, even though I delivered the pickup truck 45 minutes before the expected time. The key was given directly to the person in charge of the store, and right after, she gave the key to an assistant to check the car out. Still, I was charged an extra $95, and now I am disputing it.

Rose and Jonathon were also there and were both very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Jonathon volunteered to take us to the units and explained how to access the building. He was extremely efficient and took pride in his work. I didn’t realize at the time that Rose was the manager. I asked him if this was his store. Mike was from another store (he had told me this) . He told me that Rose was the manager and she did a great job. He said he had been there a few months but has expectations to move up within the company. It’s not often to see an office filled with three smiling, efficient, and very capable people! I know Mike was just there temporarily but with Rose and Jonathon there -this location is sure to thrive!! I was very happy with the help he provided. I was extremely pleased with the experience!!

Rebecca McDowell | First ImpressionsWhen we returned the equipment, the employee on duty at the time somehow didn’t process the return correctly, so in UHaul’s system it looked to them like we hadn’t returned at all. Cue the phone calls. After having to argue with the employee (Susan) that the trailer was in fact on their lot, she hung up on my husband and me a total of FOUR times. I went to the physical retail location for resolution and to verify with my own eyes that the trailer was on their lot. Susan’s customer service was terrible from beginning to end and a formal complaint will be escalated. It seems like there is an egregious lack of consistent training across UHaul and customers are punished for the employees’ incompetence, to say nothing of the extremely rude behavior they display toward customers. I wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone.

Once the facility is completed, it may be a great place but currently, there are several inconveniences which lead me to not recommend it. First, there is only one door into and out of the storage facility. It is easily blocked when someone is loading/unloading a truck making it very difficult for more than 1 group to access the facility. Second, the access hours are quite restrictive (9-5). Online it is advertised as 24/7 access which I understand is planned but it should not be advertised until it is available. The website also advertises storage units size 15x10 which are not actually available at this location.
