Deidra H | Online Move InThe check line was constantly on. The truck did not run correctly. The first woman was so high that she put down the wrong date, I know this because I could smell the weed, I hadn’t even picked up the uhaul yet and I got a call saying I was an hour and a half late and I would be charged for another day. I hadn’t even picked up the uhaul yet. When I expressed my concern the woman automatically went on the offensive instead of apologizing for their mistake. So unprofessional. This might be a deal breaker as far as using uhaul ever again.

Derek HThere was supposed to be a lock in the storage unit when I got there- there was not. The directions on access were vague and resulted in me trying several different doors and keypads to figure out the process, in the rain. There were not instructions on where my unit was, sk I played wander around uhaul to locate it. Unit is clean, as is facility, online setup was lovely.

Ricki MThe truck was clean I side, but when I got there it was covered with ice and snow and we had to clean it off. The employee wiped the snow off but stated they didn't have a scraper.

They didnt have my $611 box order ready when i arrived after placing it on line the night before, he said a new guy opened and didnt pull it, he was very fast in pulling it, then rented a 10' to haul them all home, when i returned to the location to drop off, i pulled in and waited has instructed at the designated spot, after 5 minutes another truck pulled in, the guy jumped out went inside, then the customer returned to his truck, an african american employee came out and just walked right past me, taking care of him first. I made the statement i was here first, and he just looked at me and kept walking to get the other guy. He then went back into the store just leaving me there. Very poor! The truck also spelled like cat urine inside the cab, the manager did spray it with something but a couple of minutes later it was stinking so bad again i drove freezing with the windows down.

Brody LOne minor complaint: The van I rented had a "Time to change the Engine Oil" reminder on the dash. Other than that, the van ran and drove perfectly, and was well suited for my moving needs.

Linda M | Overall ExperienceIt was busy first thing in the morning, the manager was in her office and seemed "bothered" that she was asked to help by her employee. It was very cold and icy, the doors were frozen shut and she just handed us a few tools and told us to see what we could do to get them opened....she didn't want to help out in the cold!! Felt sorry for the girl working the counter because her manager obviously didn't want to help her. The truck I had didn't want to go in gear, way too much play in the shifter on the column.

BENJAMIN WHad a one way rental. Person was cordial enough when I dropped off, and asked if I wanted to put own gas in, as tank was at point I would be charged a stiff fee. When I arrived he was outside smoking and never introduced himself (shady area of an unfamiliar town so I was apprehensive to hand over keys and info)! Then when I came back from getting gas he had gone inside. I turned off truck and removed the key from the ignition then automatically slipped it in my pocket, of course out of habit, also so I had hands free to open back and I checked around truck and took photos then went inside. I was not asked for the key and after the stress of the day and the area and overall experience, I didn’t think of it myself. I got checked out and left to drive w my ride the hour back home. I discovered I still had the truck key when we were 65 miles away from the dropoff and when the guy called me looking for the key! It had been an hour since drop off. Of course, I had to drive an hour BACK to return the key. I did ask him why he hadn’t checked for the key when I checked out and he just said he had had a crazy day so didn’t ask for the key. (I didn’t even ask why it took an entire hour for him to call me and inquire. Had he checked immediately I might have still been close by!) I realize I was the one that still had the key, however had he followed through on check in he would have realized he needed it and did not indeed have it. The neighborhood was not an are where one would leave keys in an ignition just sitting around.) Also, my U-Haul account did not show the rental from today for me to find the contact info of the place. I will NOT be using either of these locations again. And I will be looking for a different rental company than U-Haul if there’s any future need for a rental. Digital pickup and human dropoff were both Very Poor!! Failing grade U-Haul!

Amanda TI have used U-Haul for many different reasons over the past 50 years. I always have a good idea how many miles it will take to accomplish the usage and generally right on. This trip was around 150 miles round trip. We did not go out of our way more than a couple miles for food and gas. When I returned the vehicle 4 1/2 hours later, I was told the milage showed several miles more than I would have gone so was very surprised and taken back by that finding. I didn't know how to respond because I knew we didn't drive that far. I told them I would pay the bill but was concerned that mabye the odometer was not functioning properly or the "mileage out" reading wasn't correct. The people at U-Haul were very nice about the whole situation and I told them it wasn't there fault but I was concerned about the extra miles it showed I had gone. A few hours later I recieved a receipt showing they credited me for the miles I was questioning and really didn't use. They didn't have to do that but they did and I really appreciate what they. Over all these years I have always had a positive experience dealing with them. U-Haul has always seemed service oriented and fair and they proved it again with me. Thank you!

Passenger mirror interior cover almsot fell out of the window because apparently it wasn’t installed right . Driver weather stripping kept falling out when opening the door . Horrible experience

Morgan RThe driver door of the truck did not close properly. The truck was returned prior to my checkout and not clean. The alignment was off. The truck kept pulling to the right. When I returned the truck to the office, we went inside and it smelled like weed. The customer service was not the best during check out, but a little better at check in.
Dalaina HMy first rental on Saturday was a 15' truck and it was not big enough so I came right back and rented a 26' truck. The guys made that change very easy and check in was a breeze. Job well done.

DEBORAH BI thought I had reserved a van only to discover I needed to use a small truck. This cost me more in per mileage cost. I gladly drove the truck but I will be more careful in the future not to be confused by the reservation system.

Michael FThe units that I rented were broken in to at two separate times. The first time, the manager let me know immediately. I took the settlement because no one seemed interested in assisting me with finding my belongings. They just acted like it was a normal thing. Then my monthly rent went up not once, but TWICE. Then my unit was broken into again. I wasn’t even notified. I just tried using my key and it didn’t work. Literally will go out of my way to let people know never to rent anything from there. Beyond poor business practices and virtually no security whatsoever.

Jason S | Online Move InThe manager there is a salty angry woman. All the guys that work there are very friendly and helpful. When I departed I said I hope you can get the lift operational again and the manager told me one customer broke it. I was the customer that it happened to. I didn't tell her that though because she is so negative. The lift cable broke when I was using it. It was mechanical error not my fault. The facility currently has no way of getting heavy stuff down to the 1st floor. It's a three story building. An elevator that is dependable is very important and needed. I had to use a dolly with all my heavy furniture down three flights of stairs. I'm very unhappy about that storage facility. It's like our stuff is being held hostage because unless you are strong enough to carry your stuff down the steps you can't get your stuff down and out of there. Yet we have to pay the storage bill every month without fail but they can't get the lift to work and keep it working? I would say I recommend U-HAUL but I can't recommend this facility to anyone.

Jennifer B | Online Move InLooks can be deceiving,...Upon getting all of our stuff out of the storage we got all of our bins to the new property and realize that rats had eaten through our clothing there was so many rat droppings that we had to throw stuff away it was really horrible, I've never had cockroaches in my life and one of our bins had a lot of cockroaches inside, not only that, we had a air conditioner just disappear! And don't try to contact them you can never get a hold of anyone at the facility and if you do the manager is never available!!!!

When we were moving out of the unit on Sunday, August 16, 2020, there was a woman and her 2 boys making a huge scene the whole time we were there. The boys were literally fist fighting in the hallway and parking lot while their mother screamed and cursed at them constantly. It was very disturbing and uncomfortable. When my husband told the attendant about it he said "Yeah, they do that all the time. I probably should've called the police or something." There are cameras all over the place so we knew the people in the office could see what was going on and they couldn't have missed the screaming. We were afraid they'd turn on us if we asked them to stop or got involved. It was not a good situation or pleasant experience what so ever.
