Use this location, NOT the one on Jackrabbit Lane in Belgrade. They did not have our reserved equipment and were pretty incompetent. Huffine Lane was great.

Henry KThis is probably my fault for not checking in when I arrived, but I assumed that since I did the self check in process online that I could go straight to my unit and start moving in. However, I did not know that there was a key pad where I needed to enter my code to shut the alarm off. So I accidentally set the alarm off when I opened my unit. The employee was friendly and understanding and showed me how to disarm and rearm the alarm for next time though! My biggest complaint is the lack of gutters on the units. The snow on the roof was melting and dripping down the day I planned on moving in. Everything I moved in got wet, I got wet, the floor was wet and slippery. The water was even splashing off the ground and into the entrance of the unit. I laid down a tarp and towels to reduce the water in the unit and was drying off boxes and shelves as I went, but it became too much of a hassle so I called it quits shortly after starting. This meant I had to spend a second day moving into the unit instead of just the one. Gutters would have solved this problem and made my move in experience much better. Even though the units are raised a bit off the ground, I am now worried that melting snow and/or rain will leak under the door and into my unit, especially with the weather here in Montana. I hope this problem will be resolved and gutters will be installed. I didn't catch either of their names but both the man and woman that were working on my two move in days (March 21 and 22) were fantastic. Five stars for them!

Jaclyn LThe truck was clean, but the check engine light was on. It ran fine, but that's pretty much the first thing you see when you start the truck, and doesn't give you the best first impression. This location called me twice on the day that I was set to return the truck, and I only rented the truck rented for one day! It was like they were pressuring me to return it early. When I did return it, there was another customer waiting for the truck - seemed like they double booked it. Summary - Unless the rental is past due, please don't call your customer repeatedly, asking them when they are going to have it back! I'm not sure I'd recommend this particular location, compared to the experience I had at the other U-Haul locations I used in the last 3 months.

Jessica GThe female employee the greated me was totally understanding in my rental from N 7th Ave In Bozeman MT as the equipment I had reserved for $82.00 was late and got transferred to her store location at Huffine Ave in Bozeman. Well, thats where it stopped! I was overcharged, Over billed and sent on a scenic ride to "We Don't Care, We Are Billing You The Way We Want To!" I overpaid and was over billed per my rental and mileage as quoted per the N 7th Ave Location. Total BS Service, Not Happy & I jave rented from UHaul Multiple Times in the last several years!!

JEFF BI booked a One-way rental several weeks ago from Bozeman to Helena and even though I received multiple emails confirming the reservation it wasn’t in your system at pick-up and we were told none were available. Our only option was to rent round trip for two days which added significant cost, travel time and overall hassle to the rental. I’m still waiting to hear if we are getting any relief on the cost as the total was nearly double the original one-way reserved quote. John Prevedello 541-729-3099.
John Pdrop off experience the worst I've ever experienced. Why would a company as big as haul rent us a truck at a location that was closing mid rental. Made for a stressful situation for us as renters.

They were helpful once I got their attention, but overall I would not go back to this place. There was a much nicer U-Haul location in town that I wish I would have chosen.

KIRK SI would highly recommend this location and there guest service. However teh corportate or centeral resrevaton system is terrible. We made plans and put in a reservations, well ahead of our trip. We were moving form Montana to Texas. a week before the move I called to confirm. I was told yes all was good. a day before my move I was told no truck. We had already spent thousands of dollars and taked time off work to make this move. And the day before even though I made a resrvation I had no truck. Customer service was not help. They just kept repeating they didn't have a truck. We had to scramble to get a smaller truck. And now since our resrvaton wasn't honored, we now have t go back and move again. Spending more money all bacause ths company cannot figure out what a reservations means. Will you reimburse me for the time and money now lost? It was your responsibility to hold a truck, you didn't holdup your end. I encourage a response and if you will reimiburse me for the added exspense.

I regularly reserve Uhauls for my work and lately I cannot be certain I will even be allotted a vehicle and it’s often not the vehicle I requested. That said, Sydney Kluth and her team at the Huffine location in Bozeman go above and beyond to make things work.

Kiernan RThe after hours key drop box needs to be modified so that all keys fit and can be dropped. It was inconvenient to have to try calling and chatting with uhaul at 9:30pm just to have to return to the location the next morning to return the keys.
