When I returned the truck and tent an storage Irwing explained everything to me. This is the first time I go to that location, but definitely this , from now on, the place that I go to rent a truck o rent an storage. Compared to CubeSmart definitely I will go with Uhaul in Bellwood.

THEN HAD TO CLEAN OFF TRUCK WITH NO BRUSH AND HAD THE TRUCK SNOWED IN SO IT TOOK A WHILE TO GET OUT OF LOT AND THEN THE DOORS FROZEN TO WHERE I COULDN'T GET IN BED OF TRUCK FOR AN HOUR WHEN I GOT TO MY DESTINATION.

DONALD CRented a cargo van with self check in process through the phone and i couldn’t get a key for it on the same day but still got charged of $81.45(without driving that van) the girl on the store told me that i will get refund for that. Then i went on the next day, they changed that order so that i could still rent that van and i got charged a second time of $81.73

Amanda TOverall the whole process went smoothly and quickly, biggest concern was hoping contents arrived safe and sound which they were. Only thing to comment on was that the door clasp and hinges were in disrepair and door was very loose and missing screws and loose. I took it upon myself to tighten and replace missing screws to safe guard my contents during the 1500 mile plus journey. Other then that it all went great.

Angela VU-Haul representative was very helpful hooking up trailer and making sure I was good to go. Did not have trailer adaper for power and they were able to help locate adapter in store for purchase and install for me. I pleasantly surprised by excellent customer service.
Tim SMaria De Santos and team should be lauded for this U-Haul facility. I have had this unit for several years and at one point had multiple units at this location and they supplied my truck for the move to Florida. This Maywood facility is exceptional, the staff have ALWAYS been great and super helpful. The facility is always clean, the lights all work great and even the restrooms were always clean and well stocked. I have recommended this facility to several people and would continue to do so. Great job Maria!

Steven GReserved a truck 3 different times through the app and over the phone and they have failed to leave the keys in lock box for me to pickup on my reserved time. Had to wait for them to open the store. Very inconvenient and have ruined my plans, don’t know why I keep renting here.

I had an anxiety attack while driving & due to maintenance not being up to date I had to go to the hospital because my driving foot ankle & leg just wouldn’t stop hurting! It was that bad. That particular truck needs to go, the staff was GREAT!!! they explained everything & took their time. On Sunday the lady was very informative & on Monday during the return the staff member (lady) was kind, patient, courteous, and knowledgeable. The loacatin was great but now my foot is in a boot to help fix whatever happened while I was driving.
Alexus AThis will be probably my last time renting at this location because I rent a cargo van every two weeks or more and an the last two times I rented the price keeps going up and I drive to the same place each time with the same mileage and I used to get charged $75.00 to 78.00 each time and now they been charging me $90.00 to $103.00 the last two times so I believed I am getting charged to much so I will go to a different company. Gregory Kthis truck had a horrible smell in it, I called immediately to let customer service rep know. Also the truck stalls and felt like it was going to cut off. Tried to turn headlight on and the light holder went inside the panel. This truck was not in good condition as at to be rented.

I had to wait 30 minutes to get the air out in the tires. I am not happy with my last rental and will rethink where I go for a rental next time.

But when I got there that room was occupied with another person's lock. And the room next door to it 1332 was available with a new green moving tag on it. So there was just a little confusion on my move-in day. I had to wait till the next day to get everything rectified. And the process to change units was painless. The staff was very helpful.
