tenesha clark15' truck was in poor maintenance, front end alignment was off, steering wheel was off almost 45 degrees. Truck has damage that would not allow drivers door to fully close and weather stripping was falling out. Engine service (wrench) warning light came on just after getting on the highway. Clerk told me fuel was half way between 1/4 and 1/2. I got into the truck and it was at 1/4. I returned the truck with that fuel level and was charged for fuel that was never in the truck, I had a photo of fuel level at pick up and was eventually given a refund after complaining.

Charles ImmDid not go inside this was supposed to be just the drop off for a One Way. But the location in Bedford, Ohio did not listen clearly and rented me a in town I am not happy and I will probably never use you guys again. Maybe listen to your customer and don’t be in such a hurry. I have used Uhaul multiple times over the years never had an issue at Brookpark or at the Clark location. This is my first bad experience but yet no one has reached out. If I ever use this rental service again I will not go back to Bedford location again!

STEPHANIE STRATFORDNeeded a rental truck to move items from home. Researched truck rentals and came across U-Haul. The truck rental price seemed fair especially with storage unit; however, uhual truck rental overcharged by $50, a total of $100. I was told this was a deposit and price would be adjusted but this wasn’t true. Even after calling to follow up on price I was told the original price would be the amount then a day later I was charged $100 for truck rental. Now I have to file a dispute with credit card company and U-Haul to get my money back. I would recommend U-Haul storage but definitely not renting trucks

Scott KnappThe parking lot was clean. I returned the vehicle after hours and experienced repeated problems with the app. I ended up having to close the app and re-open it to get it to work, but not before spending 15 minutes in-and-out of near-freezing rain trying to figure out how to get the app to work. While the parking lot was clean and well-let, it's also massive and set back from the road, which made it unclear to me where I was supposed to park the vehicle before opening the app to return the truck. Also, you need to get your tech people to get Google Maps to correct your parking lot entrance--Google sent me down Tiedeman (where there is a prominent UHaul sign with small lettering instructing storage unit users to enter on Brookpark--but not giving the same advice to truck returns) and showed a route behind some buildings that have closed-off fences restricting access through their parking lots. I went back to Brookpark Rd and guesses as to which drive to use, as I could see no clear indication where to go. Eventually, I found a place to park with other trucks, but still have no idea whether it was the correct place. The only thing I was fairly sure of was that the truck parked immediately in front of the building, looking like the drivers got frustrated and abandoned it, was almost certainly in the wrong place.

Nothing is salvageable. Insurance definitely recommend although be prepared to run through hoops to get any help. The initial bin delivery was beyond excellent.

wendy tolliverthe first truck wouldn't start. The one that replaced it, a 26' instead of the 20' rode horribly, herky jerky, even on brand new smooth roads. Not sure if a transmission problem or complete failure of suspension. truck had 87000 miles which isn't much for that kind of vehicle, but bounced and shook even at low speeds on totally flat payement.

Ray went above and beyond to make sure my experience was smooth easy and made me comfortable in my decision to use U-Haul. He’s the best representative of U-Haul that any company could ask for. I’d recommend U-Haul to everyone and if possible ask for ray he knows the company and could answer any and all question I had and again went above and beyond to make me know I went with the right company. I was quoted a price of $55.00 for the storage unit, but when I arrived I was told that unit wasn't available and the next size was $75 and change. I had just driven in from Georgia and was tired. I am upset with price being on a fixed income. The next time I will not consider using uhaul. At the facility in Georgia I paid $128 for insurance and was told it was $75 for the truck and $40 for the trailer. When I went to pick the trailer up I was told the $128 was only for the truck. If your employees don't know what they are talking about when it comes to the money people are spending they should be in another field. I've always used Uhaul for all my moves over the years but you have lost a customer.

Deshon Stigler | First ImpressionsI started storing with Uhaul for $55 a month. Before 6 months had passed, my rent had already increased more than twice. My primary complaint is the constant increases to rent, though there wasn't any improvements to the quality of the facility. In fact, as more time went on, there were less and less carts to load and unload, or issues with the bay/garage door when I wanted to stop by, or difficulty with the after hours access machine. The size I had is now double the original price, and I just don't see the value. Moreover, when I said I wanted to moveout, my card access was immediately revoked so I couldn't move anything without having a staff member escort me to the storage and swipe me in after each load/unload. This limited me to moving on Saturday during business hours though I planned to move out during the week after work, and posed a great personal inconvenience as Saturday is the busiest day at Uhaul. The main positive I could report is that the access hours 24/7 were a great asset while I was storing with your company. Otherwise, with regard to staff interactions, equipment availability, and ease of access to storage...those three aspects varied drastically over the course of my storage contract, which left my overall impression of Uhaul Storage as AVERAGE.

I only used about $5.00 in gas to and from!, Then I woke up tried and weary from moving 8/6/23 early in the morning and Brookpark Uhaul staff over charges me over $110.00 additional on top of the $84.00 fee on the Uhaul rental!. Putting my account in the negative, made me extremely upset on church day!. I called their managers cell-line, no answer,as always. Maurice Nevers answers his cellphone in over a year of being customers there. "I demand at least a $100.00 refund and it should be more for all the crap they put us through!." Two days later I received a past due notice and late charge email from the storage company manager. called the store to only be told that the "app doesn't work" why offer the option for this location if it doesn't notify the staff. Also, tried to order a truck through the app and it let me choose a pick up time before the store even opened at 9AM which caused a lot of frustration when you have movers waiting on you and time constraints.

The loading area needs a good sweeping, scrubbing, repainting and a good power washing of the carts would be welcome. We recommended this facility to our family and mother and several children have not only rented indoor lockers, but also have used the truck rental, both in town and long distance, as well as the pod or cube storage and moving help several times. This place is too good of a gem to let decline. Mr. Maurice is very good to work with.

Having rented 3 Uhaul trucks last week I can say quality of Uhaul has slipped!

I don't like the fact I was told I can't use my own lock, so that you can check my unit. So no I will not recommend, but I was in a desperate situation just won't keep anything off value there.

Parking area full of glass and debris. GM does not look or act as efficient as several years ago!!! Requesting 2nd free month.

I made arrangements with the manager to move out of my storage unit and showed up to pay and move out several times and he wasn’t there and I was told by the other employees that they just spoke to him and he changed my lock and only he has the key to unlock and that I would have to come back when he was there. With my work schedule and currently no car I had to arrange rides to get there and rush there after work several times only to be told that the manager had just left 40 min ago or left early that day when I made sure with the employees the day before and they confirmed that the manager said he would definitely be there. The last week before I moved out I was constantly trying to get in touch with anyone there to make arrangements so that my stuff wasn’t sold and I couldn’t get through to anyone and the manager never reached out at all even after all the recent times I was literally at the U-Haul location ready to pay and move out and had to keep having them leave notes that I don’t even believe were put in the computer or relayed to the manager or could of been and manager just didn’t care, honestly I can see it going both ways. That place is a joke and the customer service there is absolutely unacceptable!! It caused such a stressful aggravating situation for something that could it be so simple. The manager was also extremely rude and the employees were as well and not helpful at all. The day before I moved out I kept trying to get in touch with someone at that location all day and nobody would answer the phone! I had to call the general U-Haul customer service help number to talk to someone and tell them what was happening. After about 15 min on hold I received a call from the Parma uhaul storage facility finally! It was the manager calling thanks to whoever the uhaul rep I spoke with was able to get in touch with him. The manager was extremely rude and disrespectful on the phone. I expressed how much I had been trying to get in touch with him recently etc that I tried to move out several times but he was never there etc. He then tells me that since he switched my uhaul storage lock with another lock even though it was just another uhaul lock that I know he had the key to. He told me that I would have to come in and pay what I owed in cash and also have to hire a locksmith to cut the lock that he put on which cost an extra $65 dollars!! Absolutely ridiculous!! Never again will I get a storage unit or any kind of service at this uhaul location again! I probably won’t even ever use any of U-Hauls services again because my experience was that awful!!!
Stephanie Laich | Overall ExperienceI have never used a UHaul storage unit before but needed some place to store home furniture and items after moving from a 4 bedroom house into a 1 bedroom apt temporarily. I purchased the lock they sell and was informed I could not add my own additional lock. My items were there for approximately 2 years (had visited many times) when I discovered someone had broken in and stolen many boxes, slashed many open and had ruined pictures and other various smaller items. They had also taken many larger household items. UHaul denied any responsibility and their insurance dept claimed they had never heard policy of not being able to put your own lock on. By the way, I felt going with a unit inside with cameras would be the safest route. Nope! Therefore, I would never recommend this storage facility.

Had to pay 120.00 to have a lock cut off because i could not get in my unit for 6 months and management wouldnt help. i made an appt for them to cut lock off because the doors on the unit are messed up and i could not open lock. Staff couldnt either. and when the day came i was told they no longer cut locks off. Noone notified me and i drove an hour to get there. I had movers empty my units dec 26 2021 and when they unloaded it into my apt all my stuff was infested with roaches. I called and was told the manager would call me. They never did. I informed them a honeless man was living in a unit and had lock picking equipment. Nothing was done. This place is a joke. Horrible. They should pay for the extermination of my apt. They never reimbursed me for a lock i returned either. I only needed one and they charged me for 2.

For 1 storage unit, very un proffesiinal didn't know what was what, had no idea on cubic foot,measure, that would be something your employee are encouraged to know up front or taught,because they don't seem to know and actually act like spoiled kids if you tell them different and walk away from you when your right. And they have nothing to say, but can't make any big decisions, so im assuming only management can't make. We paid out rent 1st of month but wasn't due till the 6th, we moved 2 units out on on or before the 4th, so we go our money back,then we weren't able to get other room moved out till 7th of that month we were told "WE DONT PRO RATE" funny but uhaul, makes it very comfortable for them we won't get the other half, and I didn't see it on either Bill so they stole 220.00 or if they prorated for the day after rent was due.. and I paid on the 1st of the month I should've gotten maybe 200.00 almost back for that 2 units we had 4 units but 2 our considered one together. So were still owed 200.00 at least. But won't see it supposedly till next month,but if you don't pay your rent they lock you stuff that day.. and charge you exstra.. nice company! You don't want to go back to. Do as I say, not as I do, right?

Half the reason I chose to use U-Haul was because of the month of storage included with truck rental. I could easily pick any other storage facility without that, and plan to look at cheaper options.

It was just unprofessional and after having to pay and not having the lock they could of at least ran the lock to my unit but what ever was in the back was more important cause when I did in fact go back to get the lock none of the employees I saw at first was there it was another guy.

I need to price changed to $79 a month because I would have just stayed with my original until because they're the same size. The manager said he would fix it but the cost is still showing up as the larger unit on my account. I tried calling 3 times today, I was on hold for 25 minutes and then the call dropped. I tried to resolve the issue before leaving a review.

Makes me wonder if the roof isnt leaking elsewhere. Maurice is nice but when I was switched to 24 hr access in the middle of winter and I had trouble getting in (due to lack of communication), I tried to call Maurices phone number which is posted everywhere several times and I got no answer. I called the main uhaul number and they basically said "sorry we cant help you". I believe that communication is lacking with the customer service. Not everything is explained and all employees are not on the same page. Both lockers that I rented, they forgot to remove the zip ties from the storage doors. There always seems to be some sort of computer issues. One employee just said "our computers are going down it seems" in the middle of accommodating a customer and that its kind of a regular occurrance. If trying to call the facility or seeing them in person, the wait times are usually atrocious. There always seems to be new employees. The climate controlled units and loading zone (with carts) is pretty nice though. Ive never seen such a set up but it makes moving in and out so easy.

We called several times to have it resolved, but we were told every time that it would take longer. The last time, a manager implied it was our fault for not calling more. However, that had been our third call. While the staff members at that location are very kind and helpful, the management is lacking. We would not recommend the business for that reason.

I was asked to provide multiple people for the application or what not... did not have anyone to put down had to make up people. Asked to speak with manager.... he told employee to give me to another person whom was not a manager because i was upset. I filled everything out online and was being asked the same questions. Whats the purpose of reserving online? Once shifted to another employee she was great help but apparently she could have checked me in for the truck rental as well but didnt. Manager refused to help at that point and pushed me off to the employee inside. Very unhappy with my service. And overall experience. Once arrived the next day to put things in my storage unit cleaning lady was cleaning it. So i also was given a dirty unit that i had to wait 10 min to be cleaned. It was time consuming.

When there was a question about a turn signal not working the store manager came outside to correct it by switching out the tow-dolly with another one. I have since then used the offer for a storage unit and just recently got a second one to rent. Very clean store and outside parking lot and the areas around the storage units.

I am so impressed with the service I received it was one of my few pleasant experiences in a stressful move. I can’t thank those staff members enough.

The rep kindly removed it in the system and told me the date in which I had to empty it. Then i received calls declaring I was late on my payment. They said they would update the notes in the system. When I arrived, my lock was double locked by theirs... my unit number was lit up on the board in the office area. I felt like a criminal. I told them as much too. Also, the snow accumulation around the unit was bad and it was so icy, my elbow is still bruised from losing my footing when getting out of the truck. Place could be 5 stars if they just paid attention to the details. hen
