robert sThe person behind the counter was so soft-spoken that it was difficult to understand what she was saying. Little effort was given to expedite the transaction. I would have appreciated a simple point and someone saying " The truck is over there". Also, the trucks are parked on a hill making it impossible to verify the amount of fuel.

Marshall Rit's frustrating to do the suggested online app to make it quicker to come in and get the vehicle. I still waited over 30 minutes in line. The app failed both in checking equipment when I was picking up the vehicle and as I was doing the self check in return.

I asked where to park it, the employee told me number of parking spot (did not help with parking). When I approached the checkout, the employee said that everything is done, I could go. He didn't check trailer with me. Also they charged a cleaning fee even though the trailer was completely clean

meadow lInside of van windshield had film of vape residue that produced glare in sunlight and severely reduced visibility. Key drop off box is on opposite side of building from key pickup boxes, and inadequate signage meant another customer tried to return keys to a damaged unlocked key box. I moved them to the correct location, but was frustrated that I had to walk all the way around the building to figure out where to drop off the keys UHAUL app refused to cooperate with phone, wouldn't work with location services or camera even though app had all needed permissions. Had to circumvent this by using web site in a browser instead. Really defeats the purpose of an app, guys Long story short, location manager needs to fix key boxes and exterior signage to prevent keys being left unsecured when customers return them. And your app is a broken mess. And a vehicle with a fouled windshield needs to be taken out of service and cleaned before it gets rented again

Jason SReserved a 15' truck 6 days in advance. U Haul called the night before pick up day to tell me they only had 10' trucks. I was unable to get all of my house moved and had to make seven additional trips in my personal car. 170 miles round trip each time. I will definitely look else where next time I move.

Solomon ATerrible service. I reserved my trailer a week ahead of time to receive a call the day before stating the nearest trailer is 50 plus miles out of my travels. That would add 100 plus miles to my trip. So i was forced to take a smaller trailer and over pack the back of my truck in a attempt to complete my move. I had to leave items behind that i wanted to take and over fill my truck. This is very frustrating and bad service.
Dennis LThe attendant was playing video games on his phone when I entered the establishment. I had to announce my presence for him to look up. He delayed looking at me for a moment to finish his game. He did not look at me directly the entire experience and acted curt when I asked questions for clarification. His demeanor was one of someone who is put off because he had to help someone. He looked at the video game on his phone when checking me out. He was the only person on shift at 2:30 pm on 3/17/24 at the front desk at the 6443 Evergreen way location. I will not be returning to this store and will tell others I know about this experience.

erin CMain customer service is awful at keeping reservations. They did give a 50 credit but didn’t make it easy for the store manager to find and says it’s a daily occurrence.

magdalene mI mentioned I was dropping off the vehicle after hours as I didn’t want to come in the morning and no one mentioned to me that I would be charged $20 for dropping it off after hours. Little disappointed in that as there was no communication in regards to that.

Kate FThe customer service side of this place is abysmal. When I was getting checked out the person behind the desk was very quiet and seemed annoyed to be there (people go through stuff and I don't expect everyone to be crazy happy all the time) so I asked him how his morning was going. He responded in a kind of annoyed tone, "shitty." That was it. That was the only personal talking we did the entire time. Other than that he checked me out okay but it took a very long time. He went back and forth from the truck about 4 to 5 times before I was able to get checked out. I get he had other jobs he needed to get done before helping me out but it took well over thirty minutes before we get the vehicle and I think most of that was making sure the equipment was in the vehicle or set aside, verifying the gas, and him inputting any info into the computer. The whole process was just quiet, uninviting, and awkward. Oh well. It got the job done but just felt weird the whole long time it took... Once I got the vehicle, I realized it didn't have equipment in the back for tying down anything (my bad for sure). I decided to go in and get a ratchet strap for one of the items we were moving. We used cash and the cashier (different person) took a silent 10 minutes to take our cash and give us change because our purchase meant he had to open the register. That whole time he was fumbling, dropping coins on the ground about 6 times, stopping to pick them up, and the he never said a word. There were other people waiting in line and they were also extremely quiet. There was this awkward chill in the air for both of these experiences. I thought the strap hooks would hold onto the wooden wall beams or onto something in the vehicle but the space in between the wall and the beams was too small for the hooks that were being sold in the store. This particular issue wasn't as much of a hassle but was just a little pain to get something that couldn't hook into any kind of ring or to the boards when I have done with friends and other companies. The vehicle ended up being good. We had no issues past the customer service. Once we got back and checked in, the crew changed and were polite and helpful. The online portion is also easy to get through and was never an issue. I wanted to do online check in but I don't even know if anything would have been ready based on the experience I had at this store. I've had other experiences in the past at this place but, ugh... this was a rough one. I am going to be looking for a new place to rent trucks and moving equipment but I won't rule this place out if I can't find what I need.

wilfredo lEmployee was alone and physically unable to connect the trailer to my truck. They were only able to connect the safety chains and lights. Wouldn't go there if I wasn't physically able myself. Not sure what would have happened if we would have had to shuffle trailers to get the one I needed for the One Way trip.

robert sThe issue with this location is not the staff or equipment. The staff are wonderful and helpful. The equipment works and is in good condition. My main issue is that it took an hour to check out my rentals. The staff member helping mentioned the computers are from 2001. Then, the computer crapped out. The server shut down while I was being checked out. It took 3 different computers, an attempt on the uhaul app (which couldn’t check out the items I grabbed or complete the rental btw), before my rental was finally completed. There were like 10 people waiting while all this happened. The staff member did the best he could to manage the situation. He told everyone the servers were down, it was going to be a wait, and to attempt the app. The tech is like 1/5 stars. The staff and equipment 5/5 stars. Like the tech needs a desperate upgrade. I’ll come back to this location but it’s mentally like going to the dmv where I’m going to wait forever.

Keith NUnit was clean but had a lot of old minor dings, I would not have trusted the transmission on any type of long distance. It is a bit of a sham of buying the insurance and never repairing the vehicle.
