I hate that I was charged for 4 gallons of gas when I only drove the truck 15 miles, but it's not worth raising an official complaint about.

Ian MI was happy with the location; however, very disappointed with U-Haul. I was informed 12 hours before I was to pick up the truck that my location had been changed to Mountain-View - 45 minutes and a $110 Uber ride to get to, I had booked the truck 4-6 week before I required it because I was assured that if I booked it early, I would be assured to get the truck at the San Francisco location. I will not recommend U Haul to a friend.

param sI was disappointed because I went there on 4/6 to see if they had a pick up. The guy said no, but they had one for the next day 4/7. I said I'll take it. So when I went there on the 4/7, he said the reservation wasn't in there. And so when I looked at my receipt. The reservation was made for the day that I needed it the most was 4/6. So he must've got his days confused. But the other person that helped me said he can rent it out to me if I bring it back at a certain time, so that was a plus. But still they need to make sure they get their days straight.

Stephen DThere was zero customer service when I arrived. The guy seemed annoyed he had to talk to me at all. Pricing was unclear at best. When I dropped it off, it was a little better. The guy asked me if the company called me a lot while I had the truck but did not explain why. I think they had charged me for an extra day because he refunded me a day, which I appreciated because I returned the truck early. The people working there did not communicate well, but the app was helpful. Also, the truck smelled like cigarette smoke, but it was otherwise very clean.

Agent called us as soon as the trailer was returned. We still had some time to load up the trailer before it got too dark. Agent saved us from waiting another day to leave on our trip!

Bruce WI was offered a truck with 1/8 fuel and an incentive to return with 1/4 tank for fuel credit. I took it but was anxious the whole time about tank size, fuel consumption, and gas prices at various stations. Not fun. But the condition of the truck was very good and we accomplished our goal quickly so we are satisfied overall.

Ron CWhen we got to the destination to begin loading stuff we noticed that there was a large amount of vomit in a bag hanging in the back of the truck. Also vomit on the inside of the walls. Other note is they didn’t place the extra equipment I ordered in the back of the truck.

John SThey claimed I drove over 100 miles today and needed to fork over $136. Dude, I drove from Mountain View to San Jose and back, there’s no way I drove over 100 miles. I didn’t check the speedometer before I started the trip because frankly I didn’t think you guys would try to ram me like that. Track your fleet’s miles correctly so you don’t screw over customers due to your own negligence.
