Jennifer MI started by reserving a 15’ truck, furniture pads, and a utility dolly on the U-Haul website. I designated my pick up location and date. I felt sure that in the 21st century a modern company could manage to have all my reserved equipment at the agreed location on the agreed date. This did not happen. I went to USA Storage Center in Hope Mills, NC, and they had my truck and furniture pads, but not my utility dolly. I drove to another U-Haul location, Midgard Storage in Fayetteville. They had utility dollies, but the employee did not know how to loan a dolly for a one-way move. Then I drove to another U-Haul location, U-Haul Moving & Storage of Fayetteville at Coliseum. They did not have any utility dollies, but they did have the larger and more expensive appliance dolly. I took an appliance dolly and went home to finally start packing the truck. I spent entirely too much time in acquiring my moving equipment that day. Why did it take a visit to three separate U-Haul locations to get a dolly? Why did the U-Haul website promise me that a utility dolly had been reserved for me?
Michael FIn the back of the truck , the plate over the gas tank was broken and would not allow the ramp to pull out and caused my father inlaw to fall down in it. Was very disappointed

Beau SI accompanied the agent as she processed receipt of my rented truck and transport. After she looked them over inside and out, recording mileage and fuel level; I asked her if everything was okay. She acknowledged and gave me a thumbs up. I asked again, "Fuel and mileage look okay?" She smiled, said yes, and said she'd email my receipt. Consider how surprised I was by a sideswiping surcharge of $150!! This is ridiculous and I need it refunded immediately! Please contact me for photo proof of the fuel gauge before and after the rental.

Jenee HI was sent here because the site I rented from didn't have the truck I reserved. When signing the agreement, I ask about the furniture dolly I've rented with the truck. They tell me, "It's in the truck". It was not - turns out they knew they didn't have one in stock, but they couldn't figure out how to refund me on my card. They give me a truck that's clearly not been maintained. The engine was so loud in the cab that we had to shout to talk and the truck couldn't go above 45 mph. But it's a day rent, let's push through.THEN the engine light came on just as I arrive at my loading site. I turned around and brought the truck back, but they're out of the office (it's 1:30) and have no time for return posted. Unbelievable. Better believe I want a refund.
Marissa GI have used Uhaul many times. This was my most difficult. I will not use Uhaul again. After making plans and reservations were made, confirmation by email received well ahead of the move, the final Confirmation, 2nd email received the evening before the move, stated where I was to pick up the "one-way" truck...an hour away. Corporate office was not helpful, and compensation for double the distance not offered...not even when I changed to rotating service and brought the truck back myself. Not satisfied.
Jean PI was VERY disappointed that Uhaul did not call me to let me know truck would be 2 hrs late! It messed my whole day up. It's hard enough to find one and a storage. I finally found both and people helping me were frustrated.. I shouldn't have to pay full cost of truck . If I had known ahead of time I maybe could have found another one somewhere. Very disappointed

REBECCA TI will not use uhaul again and won’t suggest to friends. There was a large lack of communication and none of the equipment was available at the location in which I was sent to.

SEAN FWhen I received my trailer I told the attendant that drop-off would be on South Carolina. Yet when I dropped off in SC I was charged a different amount because the contract had no drop off location. Being a customer I would like some consideration on the amount I was charged for the error in communication Thank you
DAVID BDouble check rentals after every return and before customer pick up. My first truck had a flat tire and was dirty. My alternate truck had junk in the back.
MURIEL OThe lost the paperwork of my first move and I received a call from your offices. This time, when I delivered the trailer, I asked them to find the missing trailer and we could not. eutiquio lI hauled a golf cart in tge 5x9 traiker. The was a large grease blot on yhe plastuc i used to cover the cargo. I told the employee at the stire he shrugged his shoumders. I noti ed an accumulation or what might ne bearing grease on the trailer showed the employee same response.
Charles SThis truck had damage that was not marked. I pointed out about 12 damages. This truck had a wiper blade that had the rubber coming off. We had to switch the wiper blade from the passenger side to the drivers side so we could drive in the rain. This truck needs the front end checked. It pulls to the right and shimmies at 65 miles per hour. The truck was clean.
Kenneth GThe after hours uhaul.com return process was drawn out. The links from the initial text when I rented the truck didn't work when I went to return it. Luckily I didn't put the keys in the drop box before getting in touch with someone at Uhaul. Checking out the truck was easy with the person at USA Storage.
Matthew ODick up was easy and efficient, used the trailer without incident and the return / drop off was equally easy and efficient. Great service.
