I had a reservation for 7am, was able to get in and out by 7:25, the service was slow, there we 2 reps, and i was the next in line. They also were gonna give me a truck that was on empty, and proceeded to tell me how much gas it needed to have when i returned it..I told them, i did not have time to stop for gas, and asked if they could give me another truck.they did, but it was hard to find....(why would you offer someone an empty truck)....people who use your service, is for convenience, expecting the equip to be clean and fueled, ready to go...the overall truck was clean, but the windshield was dirty..i most likely will use your service again, as i have in the past, but frankly, renting a truck from Home Depot for such needs that i had on Sat, would have been better, quicker and cheaper..:) Thx for asking...

The girl that helped me needs training in customer service. The entire order was wrong including the spelling of my name which I spelled for her. I had to call on my conformation to have everything changed. The next day when I picked up the truck she was rude & would not look at me when she talked to me. I was told the truck had 1/4 tank of gas which it did show as 1/4 tank, when I got home (about 5 miles away) the tank was on empty. I put 28.849 gallons at $3.189 per gallon for a total of $92. and turned the truck in with 1/2 of a tank the same day. I am sorry that I did not get the young lady's name & all I remember is that she had blond hair. If Uhaul has no training she should not be able to wait on customers. I will continue to use Uhaul, however I will not go into this location again.

I will never rent from this location again. Employee Kayla J. handed me the rental contract after I quickly signed on the computerized pad and didn't go over/ discuss a single thing w/ me. She handed me the packet/ contract I signed and pointed a direction telling me my truck was behind the propane truck & sent me on my way. There were 4-5 other customers behind me in line, so I suppose you were in a hurry to get through the rest of the customers. What I discovered was a $20 charge for an overnight processing fee for bringing the truck back at 10:30pm, which was a total of 12 hrs. that we had the truck in our possession. I had no clue I would be charged such a fee as NOTHING was discussed w/ me, I didn't even have a Uhaul employee come out & look the truck condition over w/ me prior to me leaving w/ the truck (U-haul has ALWAYS had someone come out to inspect the truck condition prior to a customer departing w/ one of their trucks). Again, you clearly were in a hurry to move on to other customers line. So I discover a $20 overnight/ after hour charge for merely bringing the truck back before my 24 hrs. was up. I had swept the back of the truck out & filled the truck back up to the fuel level I had initially left with it, leaving at 10:30pm and I get charged this fee because I did not bring it back the next morning during normal business hours? I called and spoke to Kayla J. the next day after seeing the charge on my final bill that was emailed to me. You explained something that had nothing to do w/ the issue regarding fuel gets siphoned from the trucks in the evenings & this is why they charge the fee. This is absurd, clearly you checked the truck back in & it reflects that it has the same amount of fuel as when I checked it out so your explanation has no merit. Kayla you went on to ARGUE w/ me that you explained in detail this charge prior to me rental and the night drop procedure. My adult son whom was w/ me as well did not hear you explain a single detail of anything to us other than point a direction and tell us our truck is behind the propane truck. I have rented a many of Uhauls over the course of my adult life & NEVER have I ran into the poor customer service we received this time and nor have we ever been charged any night service fee. You were rude & your explanation made absolutely no sense as well you LIED when you stated you discussed anything w/ myself or my son other than point and tell me to go get the truck! I will be calling Dave your store manager, because you need some customer service training, CLEARLY!

Make fees/charges more transparent. For example, your rates are advertised as $20 or $30 for the truck rental, but with other charges, it's more like $100 per rental.

I was very satisfied once again with the Uhaul rental facility off of the 80 Capitol City freeway and Elcamino Avenue. The service provided by the gentleman (I'm sorry I forgot his name) when we picked up and the lady when we returned the trailer I rented was fast friendly and professional. I think have been renting trailers and/or trucks from this one facility whenever I needed one going back since the early 1980's. Also, I would like to note that I am a thrifty shopper and I always check for the best deals possible including rental companies. Reasonably priced and great service, you can't beat that. Truck was damaged and scratched but not shown in the photos. Truck was parked in between two rows of other trucks where I had to back out and had very little room to not hit other trucks. I requested another truck at the front of the line, but was told all trucks must be backed up to leave at this location.

The gas was reported at 1/16, however it was on empty and I could only drive up to 10 miles. When I returned the truck I was told to return the truck with the same amount of gas (1/16). I had the gas filled to 1/8 and was still overcharged $24.

It was not this location specifically, but I did not appreciate my reservation not being at the location I requested, but instead moved to a very bad part of town. I read reviews and picked my uhaul location for a reason, and did not appreciate being relocated to this poor area, as well as being significantly further away from my home.

Online pickup did not work because I did not have a secondary phone number, so I had to wait 20 mins in line to pickup my vehicle with the clerk. She informed me it didn't work because of that reason. Well then, if it's required, why wasn't the online form made it a requirement to proceed? Also, I had to wait at least 15 min at the return tent because the employee did NOT noticed there was a 20ft truck waiting.

better customer service skills are needed for Brittany (I believe) and a girl with red or pink hair. Both were openly rude and made comments that had me leaving there in tears. I didn’t want to return the vehicle knowing I’d have to see them again. Very, very unfortunate way to start my new year.

Since there is no rear-view mirror, your 10 foot box truck needs a backup camera. Typical renters like me are use to driving cars. Driving a box truck requires special skills which most of us don't have.

It was my first time dealing with the whole new system you guys have with check out the truck by yourself when I got my paperwork there was no instructions on what I was supposed to do I was basically walked outside and was waiting for a truck and nobody came and then I had to ask somebody and they told me you have to find your truck and do it yourself wasting my time then when I went back in the app wasn't working and they told me just to take pictures with my phone and didn't want to come out there and helping me

After i paid for truck rental the lady handed me the keys and told me the truck was outside to go find it. Not one person took me outside to locate the truck or to show me how to operate it i was on my own poor poor service i feel like you just took my money and sent me on my way. Customer service should be way better than that!! Never again will i rent from that place

I was extremely disappointed with the uhaul service person named Kayla Jewett at the Uhaul El CAMINO store 706061. She needs to improve with customer service and to provide more informative responses. She was not friendly nor was she helpful. My uhaul trailer pick up was scheduled for 12/14. I arrived to find my trailer would not be ready until 12/15. I also asked questions and received very poor responses. Kayla also forgot to provide me with the rental moving pads that I needed and was placed on my bill. I have had many great experiences with uhaul...this however was the worst. It has to do with Kayla’s poor attitude and lack of professionalism. I hope this note goes to the manager of the uhaul El CAMINO location to coach Kayla on the importance of customer service and to be more friendly. Her attitude was like she didn’t even care which is not the uhaul stores I am familiar with.

I attempted to use my Visa debit card from my credit union but the card was declined several times. (I was told this debit card is not accepted by U-haul.) This was VERY frustrating as I had the funds and then I had to drive to my credit union to get cash IN ORDER to rent the truck! (NOT VERY HAPPY!!) What should have taken me 10-15 minutes to rent a truck, cost me about one hour of my time just to make payment as I had to drive to my credit union to get cash!! NOT HAPPY with this and U-haul corporate needs to like into this and accept ALL VISA debit cards, not just "big bank cards"!!!

I rent a 17 foot truck for 24 hours for $53. I picked the vehicle Dec 10:2019 at 1:15pm and return the vehicle the same day at 6:29 pm after hour. I revived a bill for $91.63. When called the office for clarification, she was loudly laughing With two other girl and ignored me behind the phone. I came to the office at 1:10 pm, which is still not 24 hour for dropping the vehicle off. She saying I damage the vehicle with out any proven pictures or evidence, and return the vehicle late. laughed out loud and threw the paperwork out me and run behind the other personal at the office. I did collect the paperwork and throw back at her. The next girl come in forward introduce herself as manger and threatened me to leave the office. There was a nice gentleman and walked out with me and apologized for the ladies unprofessional and disrespectful actions. I left the office and called me bank for unauthorized payment on my account by U-haul because I get charged for not legitimately reason.

I set up reservation to pick up truck via app. When I got to the facility I was told on my phone the truck was not available. After waiting in line and dealing with the very pleasant agent I got the truck. Paper work said there was a quarter tank of gas in the truck - it was on empty with the gas warning light . I could not check the odometer reading because their odometer screen said low fuel. Fortunately I was able to make it to the local gas station without running out. Back door was difficult to open. There was no buckle for the middle seat belt. When I told the check in agent about the seat belt she was argumentative

Getting my U-Box took about 10 days AFTER arrival at this facility. Poor communication at all facilities across U.S.; Young inexperiened staff, not trying to be helpful. Box put on backwards in MI.

We didn't use the actual facility, we rented two U-Boxes. Ratified with them is mild, their size is deceiving and welcomed at the same time. Your driver was extremely helpful, I encourage U keep her.
