When I first made my reservation, the Representative asked me all the info to provide payment over the phone. But when my brother got to the store to pick up vehicle, the store manager said I had not paid for it yet. The original rep did not process the payment correctly and this caused a problem getting the truck promptly. If your going to take all my info by phone, then by all means process the bill at that time. Time is precious when you are moving and on a deadline. I was not happy.

I rented a 17' truck from this location, I've bought propane, and packing materials from this location, and have been very satisfied. The 17' Ford box truck I rented apeered to be well kept, when I turned the lights on, none of the gauges were functioning, I had driven the vehicle Approx 16 miles, so I put a little over a gallon of gas in the truck. When I parked the truck, the dash lights, and gauges were not functioning. I went in the following day after seeing They had charged Me for an additional 2 gallons of gas totaling almost 14 dollars, I have been in the transport business most of My life, if this vehicle only gets 5 miles to the gallon, it should be fixed, or pulled. I was told many of Your vehicles only get that kind of milage. I won't be back for any truck rentals, or supplies, I want to be treated fairly, and don't feel I was.

My reservation was wrong, I never received a notice of where to pick up and the location 2 minutes from me didn't have the trailer. The location didn't have the trailer in the wrong reservation. I usually have a good experience, but Uhaul really screwed up this one.

I won't be recommending Uhaul to anyone. I'm not sure why I can only rent the truck for four hours. In the past I picked the truck up in the morning and dropped it off when I'm done. I don't like the four-hour window. I wasn't even close to done and had to make several More trips in my car after I returned the truck.

The lady who processed my request and got my truck ready that day was extremely rude and not customer friendly. I had my 8 year old son with me and he didn't understand why she was so unfriendly either. When I dropped off the truck (earlier that expected) I let the guy know at the counter that she was not nice to me and my son. She was not friendly at all. She was very abrupt. I told her that I had recently lost my home and I had no new home address and she did not seem to care one bit. I was taking my items to a storage shed, but couldn't remember the name of it. And she's like you have "6 hours to get that information back to me". I will never rent a truck there again.

Upon Arrival the woman at the front desk was less than friendly. She actually went out of her way to be rude. I feel that as a manager you should do a better job representing a company. The truck we got was on its last limb and was having some serious issues but we made it to and from so I'll let that go! When we dropped the truck off the guy who checked us in was very friendly and very helpful. If I could rate check in as a zero and checkout as a 5 I would! I'm a super nice positive person and I never leave bad reviews. But I feel like this location should be more friendly.

Warm MT renters that the ramp is short and may want to put a couple of 2x6 two feet long lengthwise staggered boards under tail gate so center of bike won't bottom out while loading or unloading. Will also keep your feet on the ramp as without raising ramp can't touch feet and keep cycle upright. This allows back wheel to stay higher and not bottom out on trailer end.

It's not a big deal, but I was only allotted 30 miles to move from Canal Fulton to Akron. Since I had to pick up truck in Massillon (original booking online was Butterbridge closer to Canal Fulton) I ended up going 4 miles over. Granted, this only cost me a dollar and change, but I didn't realize this until dropping the vehicle off, thus making the last few moments a little more stressful than needed. A little more buffer on the mileage allotment would have been nice.

Make the After hours drop off signage and language more explicit that it requires a smartphone at the location. Not everyone has a smartphone and goes home to the internet to complete the dropoff and fails.

The trailer could have the hitch components oiled or lubed with something to help with operation. After all, this is Ohio where metals rust and corrode. Overall it was clean and employees were knowledgeable of the trailer and how it works. Employees were also very friendly and helpful.

The staff seemed to be unorganized . Cost several customers including myself time. I reserved mine online to save time . They lost a costomers keys that was the main holdup. They failed to say which truck was ours we had to try different ones the key didn't work . And they failed to tell us the tumblers were replaced . So there was also a trick to get the truck to turn over . My time is limited. And a lot of it was waisted due to the staff being unorganized . I understand people have bad days but this was ridiculous . The truck was Wes parked behind other trucks and we had no help to guid truck out . I have never been so disappointed in customer service. I hope this was just an isolated day . reserved online to reduce waiting time. it took us 45 minutes to even leave with the uhaul.

Customer service at your reservation center blows! The lady was rude and had an attitude on the phone. She than made my reservation in another state just to mess with me. I got my email with my reservation and noticed that it was placed 6 hours away from me. This made the trailer I needed not available to me! So I had to take time from my busy day to call back and another lady did try her best to fix the problem. When I went to the location they informed me the original rude lady has done this to other customers as well! And some how she still has a job?!? I will not be using uhaul again for any of my business needs. This is the second time I have been burned from your company. First was the installation of a hitch on our escape where they messed up our wiring that we now have to go to our dealership and pay to have it corrected. We are done with uhaul. I should have learned from the first issue to not trust your company the second time.

I think .79/mile is too high for local moves. Your advertising is deceiving. Rent a truck for 19.95 a day but with mileage it cost me 71.00! Not right.

When we locked truck to protect valuables keys would not work to open doors. Finally managed to get drivers door to unlock after about 45 minutes. When we returned the truck the floor was wet from cleaning out truck and they charged a $10 cleaning fee because the floor was wet, female working there was VERY rude, and then charged us for use of the dolly, we never touched the dolly, we had our own commercial dolly, your dolly would not have been able to handle the load we were moving. We moved a commercial walk in freezer and compressor weighs approx 800 pounds, your dolly would have snapped in half. Female employee cut the strap and charged us for using dolly we never used. Horrible service, horrible experience, will go elsewhere to rent truck tomorrow for other equipment we are purchasing for my bakery. We would have used them at least 3 more times this week for other equipment we need to pick up but they were not honest from the start and charged for things that should not have been charged for. I will be sure to tell everyone else not to go to uhaul. already talked one friend out of it, they are moving this weekend to florida, told them to call someone else.

The woman who worked there when I picked up the truck acted as though me and my mother were bothersome to her. Granted, she was trying to hook up a trailer when we arrived. However, we did not approach her. Instead, we waited inside because we were a few minutes early and we didn't want to interrupt her while she was completing her current task. The difference between the woman who checked us out and the man we returned the van to (both worked at the same location) was night and day. He couldn't have been more friendly and professional.

Fire drop off location "manager" Kelly Lemon at Lincoln Way E., Massillon, OH location. Extremely unprofessional, did not wait to here my side of the story, hurried to bill extra charges before letting me explain problem, acted like I was going to steal money from her and U haul. She insisted that I had proper information and did nothing to help remedy problem even after being proved wrong. Told me she could not get me the printout of my contract, even though she said that I should have checked on it while driving down the road. This was the contract that I did not receive at the pick up location. Then she was magically able to get it for me finally. Her solution to my problem was "you signed the contract", so too bad for you! I realize that the pick up location caused the problem, but her customer service is appalling! I did not have information from U haul that I needed even though she thought I did. Her response to the problem was unacceptable!!!!!!!!! Very disappointed at U haul and Kelly Lemon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Woman was VERY RUDE! I showed up 2 minutes till 7 a.m. for my reservation and asked her kindly where I needed to park she replied rudely we have 5 minutes until we open so you'll have to find something to do. I was there at 6:58 a.m. and reservation was scheduled for 7 a.m. after finally getting in she rushed the entire process and was very rude the entire time I will never use Uhaul for my moving needs ever again and I will never recommend Uhaul to any friend or family member that needs to move.

Our rate of hours quote for our rental was changed 4 separate times by four separate resprentatives, the representatives were UN- knowledgeable about how to process our payment, our card was placed with 3 separate holds due to this. I requested that he call management to figure out how to fix his computer tranacation that he was having problems fixing and he told me he couldn't because she was in a doctors office. I stated that there must be soneone else he could call or a manual and he said no. My husband and i were standing in the uhaul for more than 50 minutes watching the representative stare at his computer screen with no resolve. We ended up having to drive to the bank and add monkey to a card so he could RE-process our transaction. We are not happy customers.. in addition to all this, as soon as we drove off with the car dolly that we went through a massive process to rent; as soon as we pulled out of the parking lot with the dolly I saw something dangling on the passenger side of the dolly and we did not realize until we got to the destination that the ENTIRE turn signal/brake light had fallen off of the trailer and was just dangling as we were driving down the road. We were driving illegally thanks to Uhaul! We duck taped your light back in place to conplete our move because after the over 50 minute delay at your store and having to duck tape repair your car dolly tail light/brake light we were already behind schedule. Only to findout after duck taping the light was NOT working, so we were forced to have a friend follow us closely to deliver the car. We had the absolute worst experience with uhaul and we will do what we can to never have to rent from uhaul again. Thanks for asking.

I had asked for a 10' truck. I was given a 15' truck that I really didn't want. I was very unhappy about that. I ordered the vehicle over a week in advance and was not happy to not get what I asked for. I didn't need such a large vehicle and with the wind blowing throughout my drive, it was quite unsafe. I paid more than I expected to pay and it cost me more in gas than I wanted.

The lady at the counter was rude. The truck I rented had over 115,000 miles on it. They demanded to keep the keys to my personal vehicle in case it needed to be moved while I was gone. Then when I returned I found my personal vehicle moved and unlocked! Major liability.

The only negative thing I have to say is the technician did not do a once over on the vehicle, nor did they verify gas level, or even remove the sun blocking cardboard. I moved my car as requested, and left as requested. I had to move a 15 foot truck from between two other trucks, all of which are closely parked. Granted, I didn't hit anything, but next time it might be nice if you don't make your customers contort to retrieve their equipment.

We picked up a 26ft truck on Friday 1/20/2016. The truck was mechanically TERRIBLE. It was shaky unbalanced and the brakes were not the best. This is a large truck to send out in such condition. Then when we returned it 50MIN late we were charged for an extra day. We went to another location for a move 2yrs ago and were over 2 hrs late returning the truck and they were very kind and understanding about the situation and didn't add ANY additional charge. The equipment AND customer service at this location leaves a lot to be desired.

Reserved and rented a 6x12 trailer for a day. Door stuck. Wasted several hours myself and at facility where I rented just trying to get door open. Returned after only 6 hours use due to door issue wasting my day. Still charged a full day. Uhaul has the absolute worse equipment and customer service. I have had issues with uhaul in the past so after this visit you've received the last business and money from me.

Parking for my personal car while I used the truck for 3 hours was not clearly marked. The employee helped and said where I parked was OK, but I was apprehensive about getting blocked in. I understand this location has limited space.

As far as customer service went we had no problem and they were willing to work with us. However, as far as the U-haul itself we had major issues from the first one not starting at all, and the second one's battery kept dying. We were able to get stuff moved and deal with the issue. However, it is an issue we should not have had to face in the first place. The representative that took care of us was new and really wasn't prepared to help, but he did try.

This place was the worst experience ever. She threatened to not lease me the truck early in the conversation stating she could "refuse the rental" if she wanted to. Really after the major inconvenience she threatened me over a $12 dolly.

Rented a pick up truck. The cables holding the the tail gate were both busted. The tail gate was damaged. Had a reservation in a closer location then had to drive extra miles to this location. Racked up extra miles just to drive it home. Should of been slight discount with the condition of rental and extra miles.
