Daniel Kenney was very very rude. He did not speak to me nor did he talk to me the entire time. He did not tell me my total. He just handed me my receipt. I believe there is a certain amount of professionalism people who works in customer service should have. You are suppose to greet the customer and explain the charges that are being made.

Perfect, everyone from Justin to the guy who pulled truck out for me was so helpful.

The gas tank was almost empty. It was not where the customer service rep. stated it would be. So before I got my move started I had to rush and put gas in the gas tank. I have used this company as well as this location six times before. I normally have a great experience. This was a first with not having gas in the tank. I will say this the customer service is always great and the store and the trucks are always clean and well stocked.

Truck and price was as advertised. Picked up the 10 foot truck at the very end of the day on a Sunday none the less. Both reps were kind and courteous even though there were several customers waiting for service and it was close to quitting time. Helpful in explaining the rental agreement, drop off time, fuel and mileage charges and options. Always worry about rentals when one is from out of town. No worries here. Everything went smoothly. Dropped truck off with keys in overnight drop box. Spoke with Andre the next morning by phone. Confirmed to me that he had gotten truck, keys, and everything was in order. Sent an email with charges and was right on the money. Will rent from here again if I am ever in need.

In-store rep was super funny and engaging. Helpful too. No problems. Phone rep could have explained why i had to travel do far from my home to get truck. In-store rep helped with that question too and his response made sense.

The store was very busy but they still worked hard to accommodate my need for electric hook up to my hitch. They were great at helping me with last minute reservations. They only difficulty is the parking areas on a very small lot. They should purchase the lot next door to expand. Otherwise, it would have been 5 stars.

The attendant could have been more customer friendly. I think as he felt the customer out, he began to smile a little bit. It may be because he was in a not so friendly location. I've learned to mirrow people. if they are not smiling, my conversation will be... speak until spoken too.

I have been using this location 55th and Chester since 2015. I have not had any problems with the associates that work there. Ordered a 17' truck. Worker came 20 minutes late to open shop. Only one person was working and was on the phone while he was "helping" me. Finally got the keys to the car (never received the blankets I ordered). Got a flat tire while trying to exit parking lot. Worker told me to come inside to figure it out. Made me wait in line (the line took 50/60 minutes for 4 customers). Paying for the insurance I figured I was able to receive a new truck. Nope. When I finally got to the front of the line he told me that I had to contact roadside assistance (which he could have told me before I waited an hour in line). Roadside went to repair tire but said it would be a 75 minute wait. Went to return the keys and get a refund. He denied me a refund and said it was my fault. This was the WORST customer service I've ever had. Waited 3 hours without left with nothing but a $60 check and no truck. Never even got the truck off of the lot. The only helpful person was roadside service (who was blown away that I did not receive a refund). Ended up having to waste $100 more on a Home Depot flatbed truck which I couldn't get everything I needed with. I could have hired movers at $160 and had none of this headache. Avoid this location at all costs. Customer service please contact me.

I was very disappointed that the truck that I was given did NOT have a ramp. I assumed that all trucks had ramps, so I didn't check when I left the store. But I felt that I didn't get my moneys worth because of this.

I was given a truck that had roaches in the back. When I brought the truck back I was told by staff that that truck had been fumigated and he was sorry but when management called me he mysteriously had no recollection of it and tried to deflect the situation onto me. Now Not only am I afraid that a roach got into muy belongings but I have to pay for their terrible service. Disgusting and disturbing experience.

The location moved me into a smaller truck, but they couldn't honor the 20% off that customer service gave me originally. So I paid 276 for a 15' truck which is what I was going to pay for a 20' truck.

Everytime I rent a truck it is dirty on the inside of it. I have to bring my own wipes and wipe it down. Not the storage compartment but inside the cab. Always dirty. But the staff are always nice and helpful.

Greetings: We were the first customers to arrive with reservations! No greetings or introductions! The second customer pulled up, needed propane gas and was assisted immediately while we observed the transaction. Secondly, I expressed to the person that I had reserved a pick-truck but because of the weather,(rain) I requested the van,which was granted.He informed us (in a very unpleassant tone the pros and con's of renting the vehicle, however, because of my (over 25 years experience) with Uhaul, it was our worse ever! I asked about leaving my vehicle on the Uhaul lot during my phone (reservation) and was told-not a problem at all! That was strongly opposed on my second pick -up. We learned while in the store, finalizing the transaction- he was the manager! His Tone and Body Language from my Past Experiences is not what Customers need to Experience! We should be careful how we treat people! I was given the form to conduct the inspection of the return vehile,however,before we could return the form back to the manager inside the store, he brought the final paprework out to us! I expressed to him the card he charged was only to reserve the vehile. I was going to bring him the accessed vehicle form and use my appropriate card to finalize the transaction. This is a Business! We should handle it accordingly! Treat All Customers with Respect! Especially your Veterans and their Families! Thanks for this opportunity to express our experiences @ Uhaul!

There was only one person working - his coworker didn't show up that morning. So the line was slow. I had originally been told I needed to rent TWO pieces of equipment in order to get the equipment dolly (four wheels), so I agreed to get an appliance dolly. When I arrived, I explained that to the kind worker and he said that wasn't true and only charged me for the one equipment dolly I needed. He was kind, thorough (going out to the trucks to make sure they were okay for people before handing them the keys), and only charged me for what I needed. I'd go back and work with him again!

I rent from Uhaul quite often. Same location in and out if state.. But this past rental I requested a $19.99 truck and was given a 15' believing the rate would still be $19.99 to find out when I returned it was $29.99 very deceiving

The workers were very unprofessional. They didn't check my equipment in at all and the pick up experience was horrible. This is the worst business ever. Do whatever you can to avoid this location. Visit the one on Mayfield Rd instead unless you enjoy horrible service or being overcharged for your rental. Just horrible.

I would like to suggest that your manager work on his interaction with his customers this is the second time that I have experience an negative interaction with him you ask him a question and he gets smart with you for example I ask him the size of the truck and he responds with that's the only size I have, I ask again what is the size of the truck and he repeats himself with he doesn't matter that's all that I have, and I said to him I am not asking you what you have I am asking you what size is the truck that you are giving me when he shrugs and points at a picture and finally said the one in the middle, I think that he is very unprofessional and if he is the only one in the store I will take my business some were else. I would not recommend only because of him!!

I had an original drop off at 17325 Euclid ave. Cleveland, Ohio 44117. This place need to be closed, couldn't find entrance, or the office for half an hour, only to find no one was there. Very bad reflection for U-haul.

they can start by being more friendly , and start doing walk around the truck to make sure it is alright, make sure all equipment is on the truck....the truck I had was real bad, they need new trucks.............we had to go back for the dolly and they still charged us for it

The mirror on the passenger side moved as I drove which made me unable to see anything to the right of me I had to stay in the far right lane the whole time I drove. It was very inconvenient and dangerous. I was not given a credit or an apology for being put in that dangerous situation. I checked the mirror when I adjusted it and it seemed fine but as I drove it move from that position which left me to drive completely bind to what was to the right of me.

The maintain on the truck I was not pleased with, my problem was that the gear arm was not as it should have been, when I put the truck in drive I had to put it in gear 3 and when I back up I had to shake the arm between R and Dr. Thank you.

Trying to get a refund because they lied about a measurement of a trailer said the trailer was 6 x 12 it is but the opening is only 4 foot 7 inches needed to put a zero-turn tractor in it that was 5 foot 11 inches told the person on the phone who took the reservation exactly what I needed and what I needed it for and the size told me they had a 6 by 12 trailer that would work drove two and a half hours away to pick it up and noticed the opening was not 6 foot drove all the way back and try to get a refund and all I got was a run-around one person told me to call this person this person told me to call that person very dissatisfied still trying to get a refund ???????

Hello, I have used U Haul like many people in the past as many people have to assist in their move. This particular move, however, was the absolute worst experience with U Haul I have ever had ever in my dealings with this company. First, I reserved my 26 foot truck two weeks in advanced and was promised that the truck would be available at the time and day requested. The day of my move not only did I receive a phone call 45 mins before the time I was due to pick the truck up stating that I have been kicked to a different location who, by the way, had NO IDEA what was going on and stated that I just showed up in their queue. I was told that the truck I had reserved in advanced and was promised to me was no longer available and had been given away at the Mayfield location where I had originally made my reservation. I was also told that the only truck that was available at the 55th street location, where I was kicked to, was a 17 foot truck and I had limited hours to use said truck. I was NOT offered a discount, I was NOT offered to have the truck dropped off at the location that I had my ORIGINAL reservation. I was NOT offered a secondary 17 foot truck because I reserved the 26 foot truck because I was moving 6 ROOMS! Two 17 foot trucks would have been more accommodating than the one 17 foot truck that I picked up at 4:00pm because I didn’t get a phone call until 3:20 PM and was only allowed to use until 1:30 in the morning. Not only did we have to use the truck for a second day, I was, of course charged for it. On top of all of this they gave me a truck with LESS THAN ¼ tank of gas! This is UNACCEPTABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! And TERRIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICES!!!! I would like for the second day that I was charged to be REFUNDED because if I would have had my ORGINAL REQUEST OF A 26 FOOT TRUCK I WOULDN’T HAVE NEEDED A 17 FOOT TRUCK FOR TWO DAYS!!! We rented a 17 inch on 7/23 - 7/24. It was one of the hottest weekends ever! I was not looking forward to this two day task, but Hannah was very helpful, courteous and accommodating. Moving an entire house is a challenge all by itself and Hannah made sure she could provide the easiest transition possible. We had to rent the truck for one more day and she got us back on the road in great time. Also, the young man assisting was very pleasant, cleaned the truck and made sure it was presentable to take out again. U-Haul, you have the right people representing your brand! Thank you very much!

The dashboard kept going on and off. The fuel gauge constantly when from 0 to 3/4. As such, when gassing the truck back to 3/4, I went over. In reality, I should be reimbursed the cost of this trip. There could have been serious accidents and injuries as the truck was malfunctioning.
