I reserved a cargo VAN on line and the website suggested this location had one available. They did but ONLY ONE which apparently was reserved by someone else a few hours before I did (I did it 5 days prior). So even tho it was there it was not available for rent. I was "upgraded" to a truck which is harder to load and unload due to height, has worse gas milage and I had to pay more for rental insurance. It is not right to confirm a reservation for a vehicle that is NOT available. I used the truck since that was my option. But I will not use UHaul again. It also leaves the employee at the UHaul center in a very difficult spot. I don't think the location was the problem; it is how the reservation process works.

The guy at the desk was super-friendly, helpful and very knowledgable! Unfortunately he was the only guy on staff at the time, so we had to wait a while to be served. There was also only one guy on staff when we dropped off. Prices on boxes can't be beat! Check them out!

5 minutes before I was to arrive to get my vehicle, I was told it was not available, and I had to drive another 15 minutes to pick it up at a different location. Luckily DUSTIN was an awesome guy running that store, and was very nice, and understanding, as of the situation another store had caused me, for my trouble, and going out of my way. It would be nice if a vehicle will not be available they notify you , before 5 minutes before you pick it up, especially since I had downloaded the application, and you had all my contact information available.

I'd suggest keeping the store a bit cleaner. The floor needed to be swept. The box inventory was on the high side which I suppose is better than not having enough (it crowded the room). Otherwise everything was fine, and the two guys there were straightforward and helpful, the van I rented was excellent (and did the job) and clean. And checkout and checkin was very good. Overall - good job.

Gas tank refill recommendation (the scale printed on my copy of the receipt/contract) was bogus, so I overfilled the tank by several gallons more than required to return the duke level to the original amount. I am a volunteer, using the rental for a non-profit which cannot afford to buy you extra gas.

Seems there is always a long wait to pickup a reserved trailer. Wish things were more streamlined. Once I got served the checkout was professional and smooth. I LOVE the website! I ordered a trolley but it was never given to me, I received a refund for it but it would have been disastrously if one of my friends didn't bring one. Moving to 18th floor is a bit of a challenge with out one. I think reviewing all ordered parts is ideal.

I had a reservation at another location on Hampden ave. When I arrived the truck was reported broken from the day before. They found another location for me nearby that had the same truck. I was disappointed that I had to drive to another location and hope you give me some type of refund for my troubles, I did not receive any notice of this inconvenience. Please contact me ASAP

The person handling the pickup counter informed me since I was 1.5 hours later than the scheduled reservation that he might not be able to honor the reservation. I don't know if this is a true policy, since there is not any indications of such a policy on the online reservation page, if that is the policy, the web page should be updated. I did get the correct truck, however improvements could be made on this subject.

It was the worst experience in my whole life with UHaul.. I have rented UHaul many times before, but this time the person who was checking me in was the dumpiest person in the world. He can not read the Gas meter. He was laughing while saying: I am going to charge you $7.50 for Gas. I have filled the truck with the right amount gas I used. I had to call Lyvonne to check and ensure that I have put gas in the truck. Very poor customer service and very bad staff if you have any questions, feel free to call me at 720 244-4395 Best Regards

I had checked in online to make the process a little faster, but as it was explained by an employee apparently the two systems (online and actual store) do not communicate with each other. It was very inconvinient to spend time checking in online and then having to do the same process again at the actual store. Clarifying this situation would be great.

When I made the reservation my preferred location was 20 minutes from this location. I was not contacted about the location change and when I arrived at my preferred location they denied I had a reservation until I showed them my online receipt. Terrible customer service and an awful system that you reserve equipment at one location and then UHaul can change the pickup location without notification. I wouldn't recommend picking up your equipment without a receipt of your reservation and also call before you go to find out where your pick up will actually be. In my case the change in location added nearly an hour of drive time to my day as my preferred location was about a mile away and they moved me to a location that was 20 minutes away each way. One positive was that the trailer was cheap, but I got what I paid for.

He could have at least politely greeted me and explain briefly that he was working on a solution, but instead he ignored me completely for 15 min until he finally finished with the customer in front of me. I had even "checked in" online to make things quicker, but I still had to wait too long (nobody else there to help customers).

The assistant manager, I believe his name was Joshua, was extremely rude. It started with the older woman in front of me, where he was visibly and verbally upset with her asking too many questions - Then he brought his anger onto me where he was visibly shaking. I told him that if he needed a minute to calm down I would gladly wait - and he threatened to cancel my reservation for saying that. I felt unsafe as he was clearly and physically upset and could have flown off of the handle at any time. I also asked to speak to a manager, which he replied I am the assistant manager and scoffed - She later appeared from the back, with her children as it was a Sunday, and didn't say anything about his behavior or tone. Video recording will attest to these accusations.

The manager (female) was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, thorough & more importantly efficient. The truck was clean & the white hair gentleman took the time to explain operation of the hatch door & made sure i looked over truck to note previous damage. My only concern would be the truck i rented had some type of power steering noise. It wasn't a big deal - the power steering was still working & when i informed the staff upon return - gentleman asked for a description of challenge - in other words he seem to care. Great experience overall- thank you.

This location was not inviting at all. It was dimly lit and there was no one there when I arrived. I finally found 3 people talking and smoking out back, they looked like I annoyed them. One dude told me he would be with me soon and 5 minutes later came out. Once I was helped, returning the vehicle was quick and easy.

LaVonne was great and super helpful in Denver. We would recommend her store. We drove through a thunderstorm on the way to Durango, though, and the truck leaked. It got many of our boxes wet, pretty much our entire bottom layer. So we weren't thrilled about that at all.

I would not recommend using the uhaul store located off of Mississippi Ave, where I made my reservation. Their employees are uneducated about how much rentals will cost. They estimated a $50 rental, after telling them it would not be returned to the same area. My rental cost $170. Was very unhappy, also, that I had to drive 20 minutes farther to Colfax to pick up my trailer.

it is impossible to get a hold of anyone at this location they never answer the phone.they make you over pay. the people working the counter don't have any idea what they're doing they said it was only supposed to be $50 and they charged me $80 . I don't know why. I don't know why it was so much,,he didn't know why either. Your employees should be better trained on how to do their jobs because they have no idea what they're doing. I will never be using U-Haul again they are ridiculous and your employees suck.

Vernon overcharged my card by $43 and never told me. He quoted me one amount that i agreed with based on the rental amount and estimated mileage, I was prompted to swipe my card for that amount. I believe he was aware of the overcharge because when he asked me verify the amount it never showed up on the customer side of the screen and he said that we will just "bypass" it because I'm such a loyal customer! This is a major inconvenience to not have access to my funds! This problem needs to be addressed immediately.

1. The location was understaffed and all steps of the rental process were extremely show. 2. The one worker did not do a pre-rental or post-rental check of the vehicle and I ended up being charged for damage that did not occur during my rental. 3. The manager who added the damage charge charged me twice for the actual rental of the equipment. Totally unacceptable!

The pickup truck that I got was nasty, it took them almost 2hrs, to be able to use the computer and print the paperwork. (They don't know how to use a computer ) , just to print my contract wrong charge Doble and day that it will fix once I return the truck. WTF!!! ....They were soon rude , I will never rent from this location again. (I have been using uhaul for almost 8yrs from renting warehouses,to trucks and trailers, currently I have 2 warehouses rented) and this place and time was such a horrible experience.

I reserved a 26' truck with plenty of notice and there was not one available on moving day within 10 miles of my location. For customer service I would have thought that more of an effort would have been made to make one available- like having someone drive one down from another location.

Filled up truck across street from drop off location so tank was definitely full. Then was charged for 1.9 gallons fuel at >$7 per gallon. Also charged for use of utility dolly and utility pads when neither seal was broken. Can't help but feel that Uhaul has stolen from me.

Your local location never once picked up their phone, the number was routed to another number that the customer service rep could not take cc information - with each call i made it would cycle back to the same person. Finally they told me the local location turns off their phone and they did not respond to e mails either, so it took over two hours to get the truck and it was not what i asked for it was too small for the job i needed it for.

I wasn't happy that when I returned some unused/unopened items that were UHaul Brand, well I didn't have the receipt for them as we were still unpacking boxes and all they would give me is a store credit. I have spent lots of $ at uhaul moving twice now and to think if I return a UHaul Brand Item Unopened I can only get a store credit, obviously it came from UHaul and they could have checked the store the rental truck came from, its where I bought those items.
