The online return process failed to find my location and I had to be on the phone for an hour in order to speak to a rep and let her know the truck was in the parking lot to avoid paying the late fees. In addition and for an unknown reason the employee did send me a receipt the next day but did not close the account which made it impossible for the over the phone rep to give me the refund of the late fee. An employee at the office was able to figure out to give me a full credit and then charge me the appropriate amount. The booking system is amazing. Pickup time was 7:30 AM through the ap. The ap indicated that our reservation was in-store for 9AM. We called customer service and they said our reservation was changed to 9AM but we were not advised earlier. I spoke to Ghassan Akache who offered a $50 credit. I asked if more could be done, so I then spoke to Claude Boucher. Claude was extremely rude, and put the blame on me for the time change, when customer service had clearly stated it was the fault oh Uhaul. I asked to speak to his superior and he told me that it ended at him and there was no one else to speak to. He then hung up on me. I called back and he hung up again. I called back and asked for his superior. He then gave me the number of Joe Gagliano. Claude was very rude and disrespectful and hung up on me twice. Horrible customer service!brisebois J.

the inside of the truck is disgusting: dirty carpet, coffee stains where we put the cup, dust on dashboard ... But, the customer service is good. the guys are nice and polite, they answer all our questions. i would recommend this place if the truck is cleaner.Jacques D.

Your method of evaluating the quantity of gaz is approximate at best. We had a problem when bringing back the vehicule where the clerk claim we did not put gaz in the vehicule which was false.Francois B.

In other days the rent is around $20 per day, but on 3rd July , the rent is $20 per hour. This's not at all fair. without knowing this , I booked the van for 9 hours and returned the same in 6 hours. The bill was around $281. I'm not sure if this a fair practices. I'll not use uhaul again.Piyush C.

The truck was dirty when I picked it up - Used plastic gloves, trash in the cab - dirt in the box -I returned the truck cleaner than when I picked it up yet I was scolded and warned that a cleaning charge may apply - The attendants were condescending and rude - Never again shall I do business with you.rick R.

When filling up the gasoline, the tank indicator didn't move, so I filled more than requiredâ€¦ full.Lahcene B.
Well it hard to return the truck fill with gas to the proper exact level. I took the truck a 3/8 full i had bring it 1/4 which is 1/8 lower and the gentleman told me well we will need to charge you 11$. My suggestion is to bring truck full and take full. This way it's easier for everybody full is full it's easy.David G.

The employees were amazing and tried their best to help us, the issue lies with management and with whoever designed the U-Haul mobile check-in. The website does not work at all for mobile check-in, it was an awful experience. As well, whoever was supposed to check the trucks the night before failed to do so. Save yourself the stress and don't use the mobile check-in. If you do, expect to spend a good 30-40 minutes finishing the whole process before being able to drive away with the truck.Marc L.

First truck we rented, windshield wipers didn't work, they gave us a second truck, which after driving off the lot was flagged by another car because our back door was open and we didn't have any moving blankets in that truck. When we tried to remote return the truck, your website didn't accept my location services was turned on. I made the reservation on-line and it was displayed on the website for the first month qualifying for free, so I applied for self storage. The manager unjustifiably required that the cargo be washed when we returned it. I took picture to show the lack of judgement and reasonability in his demand This caused us to waste time and ressources. When i tried to explained my insatisfaction . Mr Ghassan Akache ,the manager, told me that if i wasn't happy to not come back. I have been doing business with Uhaul at many occasion over the years and i know the service and treatment I received today doesn't reflect your company's core value. I believe this individual need more coaching or training regarding customer's care . I contacted the president of the branch to share my experience with pictures attached. I said it was not clean because of the winter. the second floor access outside was often unsafe and not cleared. I called multiple times because the stairs were covered in snow. It would also have been nice if there was some lighting over the storage units themselves and not solely in the hallways. When I went to drop the trailer,there were 2 clerks. One was busy doing a return while the other was fooling around with his cell phone instead of even asking if he could help me,not even so much as a glance in my direction.
