Réservation en ligne très facile et rapide. Mais à mon arrivée le jour-même, le code ne fonctionnait pas et cadenas sur ma porte. Donc j'ai dû aller appeler au bureau pour faire changer le code, ils ont dû venir à la salle pour enlever le cadenas et venir me montrer où entrer et où entrer le code, je ne trouvais pas évident de trouver où c'était, pas bien indiqué. Service très bon du gars qui m'a aidé par contre.

when I picked the van up, there were a pair of gloves on the dashboard, if someone cleans the van it was impossible to miss unless the cleaner was blind, so I don't think you were very serious about the cleaning; the fuel tank was not full; I was in a hurry so I took the van anyway; when I returned I mentioned both issues, the guy took the gloves and put them in the garbage, issue solved, for the gas he asked me if I had a picture, I said I didn't, he told me that for this time they won't charge me, I found it fare, but, when I got my bill the gas charge was there. Terrible cleaning and customer service

Bonjour à tous je travaille dans le domaine de la satisfaction à la clientèles depuis plusieurs années pour différentes entreprises. Depuis le début de cette pandémie nous avons constaté avec différentes Entreprises la problématique du service à la clientèles comme j'ai vécu hier avec votre Entreprise. Le jeune homme qui a pris ma réservation n'a pas écouté quand j'ai fait ma réservation j'ai demandé un casier 5x7 pour gros electros le temps de remplir la réservation J'avais 2 déménageurs qui attendait à l'extérieur moyennant des $$$ une fois les papiers terminé et le temps de trouvé le casier le commis est arrivé pour me donner mon casier qu'elle surprise casier 5x7 avec porte de 4 pieds pas très utile pour 5 gros electros par conséquent perte de temps et d'argent pour refaire le changement de casier à un coût beaucoup plus élevé et espace perdu. J'ai remarqué le temps que j'étais au comptoir que 3 clients était insatisfait pour des raisons différentes 2 au comptoir et un au téléphone Je sais dû à la pandémie que les Entreprises sont en manquent d'employés mais peut-être prendre plus de temps pour les former. Malgré se désagrément je suis que convaincu que vous êtes tous dévoué à votre travaille. Juste une meilleure formation et plus d'écoute au besoin du client. Merci et Bonne journée Pour la recommandation de votre Établissement jusqu'à se jour vous étiez une référence pour moi. Mais j'avoue aujourd'hui que je vais vérifier d'autres entreprises avant de prendre ma décision et vous référer.

Unfortunately… the reservation process was really fantastic and I spoke to a lady that was so nice and helpful. I was really impressed and looking forward to mote business with Unaul. Picking up the vehicle at the Uhaul HQ in Laval was a different story. The young men I dealt with was condescendent and unprofessional. Slow and downright uninterested in my business. The van I got was dirty inside and out. Smelled terribly bad inside… had crooked alignment… I mean bad… damages on the outside body were not properly adresses and reported. Mileage on the contract was not right. I had to go back inside to report these damages before leaving. The clerk took forever to come outside and look at the vehicle. without a pen or paper. Once I showed the unreported damages he went back inside to get a pen. Then, After a long 5 minute wait came back and said he had no more stickers or could not find them. Stickers they glue on the car to show damages, dents or scratches. Ahhhh… well I told him to go get a pen to report this on the contract. After another long 5 we made notes of all damages on the vehicle…. Then he would not sign… He told me “ you purchased the insurance so he does not matter”… And I replied hold on… when I bring back the vehicle I don't want to spend an hour of my time to fill out insurance papers and claims for your negligence. He finally agreed to sign the contract. This whole operation of vehicle pickup took forever. Similarly too long when I brought back the car. As a small business owner and after my initial contact with lady at the Uhaul reservation center I was really looking forward to do more business this fall. 10 rentals still to go befor Christmas 2021z But after dealing with the personal on site I will simply take my business elsewhere or buy my own truck. Uhaul should look carefully into this.

I was told over the phone that a mileage discount would be applied for the distance between Laval and vaudreuil since the uhaul near me didn't have the size of truck I needed. Then I get there and no one knows what I'm talking about because no notes were left. I also get charged for two days without anyone telling me that. I could have easily brought it back that same evening or early morning but I simply asked if I could bring it back at noon and they said yeah no problem. But no one told me they were going to charge me an extra day if I did that! Then I get the wrong truck given to me and only find out the following day. The paperwork marked the wrong truck. Therefore i brought it back with wrong fuel amount. The only thing they did right was not charge me for the wrong fuel amount which is why I'm giving a 2 star review.

A mon arrive, le local n'était pas prêt comme prévue. J'ai dû demande à un employé d'enlever le cadenas pour y avoir accès. De plus, le cadenas fourni n'était pas dans le local comme mentionne dans le courriel. J’ai dû remettre les boites dans mon auto et retourner à l’autre bout du bâtiment prendre un cadenas, retourner à l’arrière du bâtiment, ressortir les boites de mon auto et retourner au local avec mon cadenas. L’employé qui est venu ouvrir le local, n’était pas utile du tout. Na pas voulus aller chercher un cadenas pour m’aider, me l’laisser passer par la porte de service pour que je n’ai pas à faire le tour et parler affreusement le français. Pas sociable et plaisante.

They should be more honest. I rented a vehicle and returned it with the same amount of gas that I originally left with. Upon the return of the vehicle, I asked the agent to come verify the status of the vehicle but he told me all was good and there was no need. I then get the final invoice with a $50 surcharge. Luckily, I took a picture before leaving to indicate the level of gas.

Waited over an hour just to get service , along with others , spent almost $200 over three hours of course makes the $29.99 a day advertisement very false , did not get after hour services except dropping keys in a box but charged for it , U-haul will be my last resort of choice

We reserved a week before for a 10 foot truck for 10 am October 2nd, however they did not have the truck, we had to spend 2 hrs to find cargo van, I asked people to come help me move it ruined all 5 peoples day delayed our move it got late it rained didn't finish moving. Le camion 20 pieds devait être à Boisbriand. La veille on m'appelle pour dire que c'est à Ste-Adèle finalement. On appel 1h avant notre arrivée pour se faire dire qu'ils n'ont pas le 20' et nous transfert à la sucursalle à Laval sur l'A 13. On arrive à Laval, ils n'étaient pas au courant, mais réussissent à nous louer un 20' dispo (une chance). Petit 50$ de remboursé pour promesse non respectée au moins. Merci !!! Mon père a l'impression que le camion a déjà été accidenté. La direction bousillée qui tirait ++ vers la droite. A fait 3h30 avec le camion, difficile pour les poignets. Diable pour électroménagers vraiment mauvais. On a du appeler le beau-père pour apporter le sien avec de bons grands pneus pour les escaliers. J'aimerais un remboursement du diable loué svp. Au moins on a quand même eu un camion fonctionnel en général et très propre. ****Il devrait avoir une serrure sur la porte arrière. J'ai laissé mon stock une nuit dedans. Très dangereux pour les vols d'effets personnels :( Heureusement on a reculé le camion collé à une clôture pour sécuriser.

I rented a storage space at the drop-off location and the staff did not explain how to get to the storage space or provide an indication as to where it was located in the building. when I finalized the drop-off of the truck, there was no one at the counter. I had to go outside to ask for help. The staff outside were somewhat helpful, but the staff inside did not provide a great service. Long wait time and minimal service.

Had to go on site to reserve the trailer as online reservation can not guarantee neither trailer availability nor pick-up location (as confirmed over the phone with U-Haul agent). It took me 2 hours because of traffic just to book a reservation. Seriously reconsidering doing business with U-Haul because of that.

The on-line application to pick-up the equipement off-hours is not up to par ! #1. I had to find the Truck (not on the front lot) #2. The on-line process did not make the transaction easy (I have work in IT for 36 years) I was there 10 minutes early and left over 30 minutes later ! #3. The previous Driver left a coat in the Truck : how well was the vehicule reviewed before making it available ?

Je regrette la seconde d'avoir fait affaire avec U haul, ma location de camion était ds 8:30 a 11:30 et l'employé qui était Sur place ma BIEN DIT ce n'est pas grave si vous ramener le camion en retard jusqua comme 12:00, donc j'ai ramener le camion a 12:30 et ON MA CHARGER 250$ De plus de retard, pour techniquement 30 mins de plus, et l'employer qui était sur place n'a jamais mentionné un frais de retard de 250$ si nous dépassons le temp. Je trouve sa pas professionnelle de la par de la compagnie car personne ne ma aviser des frais supplémentaires pour le retard. Croyez mois quand je vous dit que je ne reviendrais plus jamais avec votre compagnie. Je pensais que vous aviez de bons prix et un bon service mais je me suis clairement tromper et soyez sur que si les gens qui je connais me demande mon expérience avec vous je hésiterais pas une seconde pour les conseiller de NE PAS faire affaire avec vous!!!

Je suis tres satisfaite du service du commis qui qui m’a aidé au comptoir … petit point qui pourrait avoir amelioration est pour accéder au espaces de rangement en aucun temps j’ai eu l’information que je devait faire une première fois mon code a gauche de la porte et par la suite entrée une deuxième fois mon code mais sur le clavier a droite de la porte!! j’ai croisée en sortant des nouveaux usagers qui ont du faire la même chose que moi trouver par eu même le fonctionnement de l’accès… c’est t peut-être une raison pour laquelle j’entend le système d’alarme se déclencher régulièrement …? Peut-être specifier aussi qua la sortie aussi il faut entrer notre code côté gauche sinon accès refuser la prochaine fois…. :/ sommes toutes mon expérience est sans regrets jusqu’à present bon pris , tres accessible avec option 24h ! Tres propre et sécuritaire !!! Merci pour l’excellent service et la courtoisie des commis !!

They are very rude dont know how to speak to customers. Convient for me to rent from Uhaul Chomedey. There's no reason to be rude to customers who are paying the late fees where pays they're salary!!! Why get mad at customers for being late with the truck and willing to pay the late fee. Yu guys have a late fee policy ...

My truck rental was to be picked up in D.D.O (west island of Montreal), I also checked in on line the day before (Friday Sept. 10, 2021) and paid in full with my credit card. I was woken up on Saturday Sept 11, 2021 - at 8:19 AM by a U-Haul agent and was told that the truck would not be there for pick up on Sunday Sept 12, 2021 and I would have to arrange to pick up at a location that was impossible for me to get to (Jean-Talon) -(almost downtown Montreal). Your associate at 514-684-3273 (west island) told me that she personally would call back within 30 minutes, give me time to get organized and also agreed to provide me with an extra day with the 15' truck at no extra charge to me so long as I could pick up at Jean Talon. She never called me back to make any arrangements which was totally unprofessional and left me as a customer chasing U-HAUL. I had to call U-Haul and was put on hold several times, lines disconnected 2x and in total I waited almost 2 hours and still no service! I had to ask a French speaking friend to attempt to call and speak to the French speaking U-Haul line, and she seemed to get through within 10 minutes. The agent offered a 10' or 20' truck for me to pick up at Laval and also did not include my collision damage when I received an updated order confirmation by email at 10:009 A.M, in which case I had to call back U-Haul and try to have this added on the order again, and then I was told after several attempts that when I picked up the truck to speak to the agent at the U-Haul Depot counter in Laval, and have the counter agent add it back on to the order as customer service line could not help with this. In total, I waited over 3 hours on the phone to get service and get all issues sorted. I had no choice but to agree for 10' truck as I was not comfortable with the offering of a 20' truck as my rental was a one-way trip over 230km. Once I picked up at your Laval location, the counter agent was friendly, helpful but, did not ensure my proper telephone number to receive texts. He told me I'd receive a text for online & returns, and this is when I asked him about the telephone number and it was not my cellular, it was my home landline. This was his only mistake, as he told me that he could not fix the phone number on the invoice as the bill was already done. Other than this error, he was helpful and courteous. Then, I went to return the truck on Sunday Sept 12 -evening around 5 P.M. , and the lady at the U-Haul in Carp, Ontario - left early and all doors, gates were locked. She told me on (Monday) Sept 13 that she texted me a code to open the locked gate along with her cell number and if I had any issues about the return to text or call her directly... but I clearly did not receive the text as U-Haul in Laval did not put my cell number in correctly for me to receive any texts, so I had to return the truck back Monday morning before 9 A.M, which the truck was still on time for the 24-hour return. Now, I am left having to go back to the West Island of Montreal and rent another truck or trailer due to the fact that I did not get the entire move into a 10' truck as I had to leave items behind. Had I received the 15' truck that I originally ordered and prepaid and checked in on line, I would not have to make arrangements for another move. This was a pretty poor and horrible 1st time experience by U-Haul to leave an out-of-town customer scrambling and having to fix U-Hauls chain of mistakes!

there were times during the day that it was very busy with clients waiting and longer wait times ( it was noted not enough staff ) but overall excellent facility, and we will use the services again in future.

I rented the storage unit first and then a trailer to move everything to Ottawa. I asked the person at the desk if I could get the 1 free month on the storage but he said that I have to rent the trailer before I rent the storage. I don’t understand why It can’t work before or after. I find it frustrating that you have a promo like that that can’t work both ways, storage first then trailer rental and trailer rental then storage.

The service was excellent and the staff friendly but I spent over 30min in line and then over an hour waiting for your system to take a payment and register the account even though I had called earlier to reserve. This is my 3rd poor experience with U-Haul because of its systems problems. If you can't get that resolved you will loose a LOT of clients. I would not recommend U-Haul to anyone until you have this issue resolved.

Le seul bémol: ce sont les deux tableau en arrière où il faut passer la carte, j'ai eu des problèmes au début à comprendre: il faudrait un tableau d'explications à côté pour bien comprendre comment passer la carte sur ces 2 tableaux différents. Vous etes mes heros , aujourd'hui encore jai pas encore asser de place ca fais 3 jours de suite que je loue un camion pour déménager notre condo sa coute $$$$ . The storage itself is very well maintained and very easy to access with a truck. However the service is very poor. We reserved a storage to have the free month but when we called to change the date, the agent over the phone told us the reservation was never done. We went back to speak to the same agent, he was able to give us the free month storage. We paid for the lock and we walked all th way to the back to see the locker and put the lock. It was raining a lot that day. When we got to the locker, we realized that the locker was locked so we had to walk all the way back in the rain to let the agent know. It was almost 7pm (closing time). If we wouldn’t have checked before closing time, we would’ve not been able to ask him to open the lock to access our locker. If the employee knew that he had to remove a lock before we could access the locker, why didn’t he advise us? He saw us going outside, he knew we wanted to go see it, so why didn’t he tell us that he needed to open the lock first? Very disappointed.

Unfortunately the stuff was very unprofessional, didn’t tell how to use doors and elevators properly, gave us the wrong unit at first and then changed it to the one which was located at the very opposite site from the elevator, even though there were a lot of free units. On me pousse a prendre un emplacement plus grand. On m'oblige à acheter un de leur cadenas !! Overall very good experience. It is very practical to be able to park inside!! Clean, spacious, new. Many trucks and trailers available for rent at same location. Recycling/exchanging area is a great, original idea!! Improvements needed: More chariots would be appreciated; most families need more than one when moving in, so when we arrived, no charriots were available for about 20 minutes. There is only one lift, so there was a small line-up: not too bad though, because the lift is quite large. Entering and exiting process is somewhat confusing - there is a risk of making the alarm go off or getting locked out if not operated properly: this needs to be improved (too much risk of false alarms and other errors). Recycling/exchanging area was closed, and we could not find any instructions on how to use it, either on site or on the web.
