Je suis tres satisfaite du service du commis qui qui m’a aidé au comptoir … petit point qui pourrait avoir amelioration est pour accéder au espaces de rangement en aucun temps j’ai eu l’information que je devait faire une première fois mon code a gauche de la porte et par la suite entrée une deuxième fois mon code mais sur le clavier a droite de la porte!! j’ai croisée en sortant des nouveaux usagers qui ont du faire la même chose que moi trouver par eu même le fonctionnement de l’accès… c’est t peut-être une raison pour laquelle j’entend le système d’alarme se déclencher régulièrement …? Peut-être specifier aussi qua la sortie aussi il faut entrer notre code côté gauche sinon accès refuser la prochaine fois…. :/ sommes toutes mon expérience est sans regrets jusqu’à present bon pris , tres accessible avec option 24h ! Tres propre et sécuritaire !!! Merci pour l’excellent service et la courtoisie des commis !!

They are very rude dont know how to speak to customers. Convient for me to rent from Uhaul Chomedey. There's no reason to be rude to customers who are paying the late fees where pays they're salary!!! Why get mad at customers for being late with the truck and willing to pay the late fee. My truck rental was to be picked up in D.D.O (west island of Montreal), I also checked in on line the day before (Friday Sept. 10, 2021) and paid in full with my credit card. I was woken up on Saturday Sept 11, 2021 - at 8:19 AM by a U-Haul agent and was told that the truck would not be there for pick up on Sunday Sept 12, 2021 and I would have to arrange to pick up at a location that was impossible for me to get to (Jean-Talon) -(almost downtown Montreal). Your associate at 514-684-3273 (west island) told me that she personally would call back within 30 minutes, give me time to get organized and also agreed to provide me with an extra day with the 15' truck at no extra charge to me so long as I could pick up at Jean Talon. She never called me back to make any arrangements which was totally unprofessional and left me as a customer chasing U-HAUL. I had to call U-Haul and was put on hold several times, lines disconnected 2x and in total I waited almost 2 hours and still no service! I had to ask a French speaking friend to attempt to call and speak to the French speaking U-Haul line, and she seemed to get through within 10 minutes. The agent offered a 10' or 20' truck for me to pick up at Laval and also did not include my collision damage when I received an updated order confirmation by email at 10:009 A.M, in which case I had to call back U-Haul and try to have this added on the order again, and then I was told after several attempts that when I picked up the truck to speak to the agent at the U-Haul Depot counter in Laval, and have the counter agent add it back on to the order as customer service line could not help with this. In total, I waited over 3 hours on the phone to get service and get all issues sorted. I had no choice but to agree for 10' truck as I was not comfortable with the offering of a 20' truck as my rental was a one-way trip over 230km. Once I picked up at your Laval location, the counter agent was friendly, helpful but, did not ensure my proper telephone number to receive texts. He told me I'd receive a text for online & returns, and this is when I asked him about the telephone number and it was not my cellular, it was my home landline. This was his only mistake, as he told me that he could not fix the phone number on the invoice as the bill was already done. Other than this error, he was helpful and courteous. Then, I went to return the truck on Sunday Sept 12 -evening around 5 P.M. , and the lady at the U-Haul in Carp, Ontario - left early and all doors, gates were locked. She told me on (Monday) Sept 13 that she texted me a code to open the locked gate along with her cell number and if I had any issues about the return to text or call her directly... but I clearly did not receive the text as U-Haul in Laval did not put my cell number in correctly for me to receive any texts, so I had to return the truck back Monday morning before 9 A.M, which the truck was still on time for the 24-hour return. Now, I am left having to go back to the West Island of Montreal and rent another truck or trailer due to the fact that I did not get the entire move into a 10' truck as I had to leave items behind. Had I received the 15' truck that I originally ordered and prepaid and checked in on line, I would not have to make arrangements for another move. This was a pretty poor and horrible 1st time experience by U-Haul to leave an out-of-town customer scrambling and having to fix U-Hauls chain of mistakes!

The truck was in poor shape. The steering was sloppy. The steering wheel had to be turned to the left in order for the vehicle to just move straight. If wheel was turned to indicate going straight the truck would be turning right. VERY DANGEROUS!!! Also more attention to detail would have been expected. Ordered hand truck but upon inspection once we reached our destination

After leaving my keys by accident in car after completing the drop off , the clerk told me I would be charge to open the door . He then tried open with a crow bar and said he won't charge me if he opens it but would call me by end of the day . At the end of the day he called me to tell me opened it but I had to come and pay him 20$ cash . It could not be paid by credit card as he didn't want to show it to his boss . I didn't go . He called me at the end of the day to tell Me he was still waiting for the cash . I told him I called u haul directly and I was told there was no such charge . He hung up on my face . Thought you should know

J'ai fais une réservation pour un camion près de 2 mois avant mon déménagement. Le système a modifié ma réservation pour un autre lieu et une autre heure alors que je n'avais rien demandé. Personne n'a su me fournir d'explications pour m'expliquer ce changement. On m'a d'abord dit que je n'aurais pas mon camion puisque la réservation avait été modifié. J'ai ensuite passé 30 minutes au téléphone avec une membre du service à la clientèle, puis avec une membre du sièege social et il a fallu que j'insistle en leur expliquant que je devais avoir déménager (quitter ma maison) avant midi et que ce n'étais pas à moi à payer pour l'erreur de quelqu'un d'autre ou du système pour qu'on m'offre enfin une solution. J'ai commencé mon déménagement 1h15 plus tard que prévu à cause de cette erreur. Une chance que le gérant de la succursale a été sympathique.

the truck I rented had air conditioning that worked intermittently (disappointing during a summer rental) the breaks also required maintenance (which is a safety feature that should be verified) The store location however was clean, professional with helpful staff

Be professional and responsible. Confirmed reservation means equipment is available. You had wasted our time , changed our plans, and exhausted us with additional expenses. I made a reservation for a 20 foot truck but when it was given to me it had a flat tire. The location did not have a replacement so I had no choice but to accept a 15 foot truck which forced me to use my 2 SUVs to transport thethings I could not fit in the truck. I am approximately $60 out of pocket for gas but was offered no compensation for a problem stemming from your company ...

The truck had no battery. It stopped in the middle of the day with 42 degrees and I had to bring a mechanic with a booster and returned the truck to uhaul but what pisses me off is that after complaining and tried to call the manager he did give any concern and hang up on me and I was sent a receipt for the whole amount. That was so disappointing since I believed UHaul is a respected company but unfortunately it was really a bad experience and I will make sure not to recommend to any of my friends or connections.

My car broke down and I rented with UHaul because it was much more affordable and within close proximity to my home. I was a smart move and everything went super well. Only downside was the wait time for dropoff took over 35 minutes because there were 5 people waiting in line ... that was a bit long.

I rented the storage unit first and then a trailer to move everything to Ottawa. I asked the person at the desk if I could get the 1 free month on the storage but he said that I have to rent the trailer before I rent the storage. I don’t understand why It can’t work before or after. I find it frustrating that you have a promo like that that can’t work both ways, storage first then trailer rental and trailer rental then storage.

The system is built in a strange way. My appointment was from eight to four. When I came at 3.40 pm to return the truck, and I was not able to fill the car with gasoline as it was (I spent about 4 liters). Therefore, I asked the employee that I would pay for these liters. But the surprise was that the price of 4 liters is 70 dollars before the tax. So I went to fill the car with gasoline and put in twice the amount. When I got back, surprisingly, I was 5 minutes past 4, so I had to pay double the bill. For example, the insurance became $30 instead of 15, knowing that it is a daily insurance. In the end, the administrator solved this problem graciously.

The service was excellent and the staff friendly but I spent over 30min in line and then over an hour waiting for your system to take a payment and register the account even though I had called earlier to reserve. This is my 3rd poor experience with U-Haul because of its systems problems. If you can't get that resolved you will loose a LOT of clients. I would not recommend U-Haul to anyone until you have this issue resolved.

très propre, bien éclairé et facile d'accès. Les employés ont été gentils et disponibles. Le seul bémol: ce sont les deux tableau en arrière où il faut passer la carte, j'ai eu des problèmes au début à comprendre: il faudrait un tableau d'explications à côté pour bien comprendre comment passer la carte sur ces 2 tableaux différents. Ou refaire la carte et mettre en arrière les explications. J'ai dû me faire moi-même un tableau d'explications et mettre avec la carte. Merci Rita

Tres gentille et tres gentil au Uhaul chomeday, jappel ca des personnes humaine et sensible au problème des gens il on de l'écoute. Cest mon pire déménagement a vie, j avais une réservation pour 2 entrepôts 5x10 ils ont ete accidentellement Canceller. Javais absolument besoin de cest entrepôt ce jour la et y navait plis rien le 30 juin ..... La demoiselles ma écouter et de tout coeur et ma trouver un 10 x10x9 wowwww.... Vous etes mes heros , aujourd'hui encore jai pas encore asser de place ca fais 3 jours de suite que je loue un camion pour déménager notre condo sa coute $$$$ . Aujoudhui jai obtenue pour le premier mois gratuit mon 2ieme entrepôt de 5x10x9 ....Justela place qui me manquais. Wow merci de tout coeur et ne lacher pas vous etesun team Denfer.

Le site est plus ou moins adapté à la clientèle canadienne française. La marque d'un de mes véhicule est manquant (Micra). Beaucoup d'information sont données après la réservation et qui aurait dut être avant.

Checked in online, got to storage units after hours to find my lockers locked. Had to leave my belongs into the rented U-Haul truck overnight and go back the next morning. Was told first month would not be free either. Very disappointed will be escalating situation.

The storage itself is very well maintained and very easy to access with a truck. However the service is very poor. We reserved a storage to have the free month but when we called to change the date, the agent over the phone told us the reservation was never done. We went back to speak to the same agent, he was able to give us the free month storage. We paid for the lock and we walked all th way to the back to see the locker and put the lock. It was raining a lot that day. When we got to the locker, we realized that the locker was locked so we had to walk all the way back in the rain to let the agent know. It was almost 7pm (closing time). If we wouldn’t have checked before closing time, we would’ve not been able to ask him to open the lock to access our locker. If the employee knew that he had to remove a lock before we could access the locker, why didn’t he advise us? He saw us going outside, he knew we wanted to go see it, so why didn’t he tell us that he needed to open the lock first? Very disappointed.

Le point négatif est que je suis arrivé à min unité et elle était barré. J'ai dû faire tout le tour de la bâtisse pour aller au service à la clientèle demander qu'on me débarrer la porte. J'ai perdu 30 minutes de mon temps en raison de cela.

Please take note that we rented a truck and also got a storage, as per the agreement we are not supposed to be charged for the 1st month of rental storage and my credit was charged when it shouldn't have been. Not satisfied with the procedure.

Unfortunately the stuff was very unprofessional, didn’t tell how to use doors and elevators properly, gave us the wrong unit at first and then changed it to the one which was located at the very opposite site from the elevator, even though there were a lot of free units. Overall experience was unfriendly and unhelpful, It’s sad because I’ve been UHaul customer for many years and I wish my comment will change something for better

On me pousse a prendre un emplacement plus grand. On m'oblige à acheter un de leur cadenas !! (J'en avais un, et chez Depotium, on peut prendre notre cadenas) Lorsque je reviens pour la 1ere fois à l'emplacement du storage, un cadenas est déjà sur la porte (perte de temps de 20 minutes pour le faire enlever Je demande de l'aide de la femme de ménage qui est sur place et elle me répond bêtement.

Durant les 3 mois que j'ai été clients les toilettes aux 3eme étage n'ont jamais fonctionnées, 2 portes de garage sur 3 étaient brisées. Le SEUL monte-charge a été défectueux à 2 reprises. Le personnel ne parlait pas Français. La personne qui m'a aidé à installer la remorque sur mon camion, ne savait pas ce qu'elle fesait, j'ai dû le faire à sa place... Ordinaire...

J'hésitais à envoyer mes biens à l'entreposage par crainte de dommages ou vol. Mais vos installation sont rassurantes et c'est pourquoi j'y suis resté aussi longtemps. J'aurais une suggestion a vous faire au sujet des alarmes qui se font entendre quelque fois. Les clients ne se servent pas de leur carte d'accès de la bonne façon. Ils ne signifient pas leur présence, alors quand ils ouvrent leur unité, l'alarme se déclenche. Vous devriez leur expliquer un peu mieux le fonctionnement de la carte. Merci!

Charger un mois supplémentaire pour une journée et menacer un homme de 86 ans de l’amener en cour s’il ne paye pas: il s’agit d’un manque flagrant de civisme. Michael, de votre succursale de Chomedey Laval, Près de l’autoroute 13, devrait pendre des cours de formation pour le soutien à la clientèle. Il semblerait que la situation est résolue: j’attends de voir le compte de carte de crédit de mon père pour le mois suivant.

Overall very good experience. It is very practical to be able to park inside!! Clean, spacious, new. Many trucks and trailers available for rent at same location. Recycling/exchanging area is a great, original idea!! Improvements needed: More chariots would be appreciated; most families need more than one when moving in, so when we arrived, no charriots were available for about 20 minutes. There is only one lift, so there was a small line-up: not too bad though, because the lift is quite large. Entering and exiting process is somewhat confusing - there is a risk of making the alarm go off or getting locked out if not operated properly: this needs to be improved (too much risk of false alarms and other errors). Recycling/exchanging area was closed, and we could not find any instructions on how to use it, either on site or on the web.

Je suis VRAIMENT EN TABARNAK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! À chaque fois que j'appelle, j'attends au minimum 15-20 minutes, il y a un manque flagrant de staff. Je suis donc allée en personne et encore là ,les employés se crissaient de moi ben raide. je demande pour 2 lockers 10' x 10' .... pas de souci, le gars m'arrange ça .. je repars eb me dirant "bon enfin," et aujourd'hui en lisant mon contrat, je me rends compte qu'il ne m'a réservé que 1 locker .... sérieux !!!!!!!!! J'ai rappelé, ça fait maintenant 20 minutes que je suis en ligne et ce n'est pas réglé... À quel point est-ce compliqué de louer un locker chez-vous ???????????????????????????????????????????????????? plus jamais....

Very good location, very nice staff and very helpful, very clean, good elevator and carts to use. Only issue was trying to access the office from the storage area, you have to go all the way around outside to get to the front, slightly inconvenient. Otherwise A+!
