Even though I did an online check-in (and received confirmation) they made me go through the check-in process again. Due to some issues this took far longer than it should have (about 20 minutes). If locations do not support online check-in that is not great, but it is worse if I take the time to complete the online check-in and get there to find they don't accept it.Graham T.

Truck was dirty in the box had to swipe and wash before thinking of putting my furniture there. Truck was pretty valsy in the steering draglink/pitman arm/ tie ends loose and , this one had a yelling transmission above 2000 rpm , glad I only had 2 miles to go in it.Steven P.

My reservation: 22018170 I am not pleased with this experience. I was supposed to pick up vehicle from Performance 4x4 (closer to home). I never got any kind of confirmation call, voice or text message from them or U-Haul, as it was promised. When I called the same pick up day, they (Performance 4x4) told me they had no vehicle for me. I had to call U-Haul customer service (great service!) in order to get the truck somewhere else (I went to U-Haul de Montreal-Nord) So, overall I am not very happy with the service U-Haul did provide.Luis Alberto C.

J'ai rÃ©servÃ© un camion 15' que j'allais chercher Ã montrÃ©al coin crÃ©mazie et st-michel et que je retournais Ã st-jÃ©rÃ´me, c'Ã©tais l'entente initiale. On m'a finalment dit, la veille vers 19h, aprÃ¨s que j'ai appeler PLUSIEURS fois la succursale de st-michel, que je devais aller chercher le camion Ã la succursale de pie-IX et que je devais le retourner Ã cette mÃªme succursale le jour mÃªme ce qui ne fait pas du tout mon affaire ! J'avais rÃ©servÃ© Ã la base avec uhaul pour pouvoir laisser le camion plus prÃ¨s de chez moi (st-jÃ©rÃ´me) et ne pas avoir Ã faire des km en surplus et m'Ã©viter le stress de devoir ramener le camion Ã montrÃ©al avant 17h. Dans ce cas j'aurais rÃ©servÃ© chez le compÃ©titeur et sauver de l'argent en plus. En revanche le personnel Ã la succursale pie-IX Ã©tait trÃ¨s courtois et aidant, c'est le seul point positif. De plus je n'ai eu aucun appel de uhaul pour me parler de la situation avant que je prenne les devant et que j'appel moi-mÃªme la veille de la location, un employÃ© m'a dit qu'on a essayer de me contacter par courriels mais pas envoyer Ã la bonne adresses email car le personne lors de la rÃ©servation avait fait une erreur dans l'adresse email que j'avais donner.marie soleil F.

Systeme is too slow for clerks doing there jobs as well as the clearly can. Payment is a pain in the ***, one works with interact, the 2 others don't. Give'em the proper equipment and no one will wait during pick up hours (7 to 8 am) Cheers,Simon L.
Its a looooooong waiting time!!!! I understand is the big season. However, if we do have reservation, I do expect to do not spend 1,5h in the line to get the rental. This was not my prefered pick-up location. U-Haul previously cancelled two of my truck reservations, even one that I had made a month in advance, telling me that there were no more trucks available. All of this only a couple of days before my move. Once at the location, the truck was clearly not cleaned or inspected after its last users. When I picked it up it was still in the drop-off area, unclean. The worker checked the back tire air pressure in front of me but not the front. 20 minutes into my drive the front left tire was flat and out of air. I stopped at a gas station to fill it up. The sticker on the truck indicated it needed to be filled to 80psi, however, the tire was defective and exploded in my face at around 60-65psi. I then had to wait over 90 minutes for roadside assistance to arrive. What a horrible experience with U-Haul.Robert S.

J'ai rÃ©servÃ© 2 semaine a l'avance pour m'assurer d'avoir mon camion disponible a Victoriaville et une journÃ©e avant j'ai reÃ§us un texto pour m'aviser d'aller chercher mon camion a Thetford Mines 100 km plus loin de ma demande initiale. A quoi Ã§a sert de rÃ©server si on ne s'ai qu'Ã la derniÃ¨re minute si on a un camion ou pas et ou mous devons aller le chercher. En ce qui me concerne ce sera ma derniÃ¨re location chez u-haul et je ne le conseille Ã personne. Pour ce qui est des employÃ©s en succursale rien a dire il on Ã©tÃ© parfait.Rene S.

Location d'un trailer de moto pour un voyage de 12 jours/4000km... le trailer fait 4x9pi (et non 4x8pi) et pour une moto "normale" (BMW R1150R), j'ai dÃ» reculer la moto de 22 pouces par rapport Ã la position qui utilise le chock du trailer, pour que la charge soit rÃ©partie de faÃ§on adÃ©quate et non sur la suspension du vÃ©hicule. L'utilisation d'un plywood 3/4 et de mon propre chock ont Ã©tÃ© requises... pour le reste, le trailer est trÃ¨s pesant (800 lbs) mais trÃ¨s solide sur la routeNicolas W.

I booked a trailer at Uhaul on crÃ©mazie, and I was changed to another location the very morning which was a huge inconvenience. I was going very far with the trailer and I wanted to leave it there to save on electricity with the car, but you charge a ridiculously high price for that. This option should be a lot cheaper, less than 100 dollars.Samuel J.
Despite the quality of the equipment, the service was very poor. I chose the 24/7 self-pick-up-option thing, but when I arrived at the location around 7pm there was no key inside any of the three the black boxes. I had to come back the next morning to pick-up the truck, losing about 13hours of my initial renting time. Thankfully I received a compension. Would not recommend the 24/7 option.ClÃ©ment B.

The trailer that I rent was okay but show clearly signs of wear and the cable that connect for lights was very damaged. But it worked well and was able to do my business. I will recommend just because it was not that expensive!Edouard V.
