When returning the truck, the employee was very agressive, he verbally attacked us and was screaming at us because we didn't let him to return the truck for us. He was forcing us to get out of the truck so he takes control over it. We didn't listen to him and returned the truck ourselves. He then came up to us continued screaming I felt threatened and scared and was a very negative experience. My dolly was missing, basically I paid for an equipment that was never given.

They wanted to cancel at first and had to argue in order to get my truck. YALL CANT CANCEL A MOVING DAY WTF. Clerk didn't give me the right info, forgot to tell me about the steps for returning the truck. Also forgot to give me the add-ons I requested, I had to tell him or I wouldnt have gotten them. Returning the truck was super hard because the lineup was way too long. Serioulsy wtf Uhaul that was terrible.

Matthew V.Picked up the truck the day prior to us moving and all was good. We packed up the truck the next morning and I got a check engine that there was low brake fluid. I called Produits De Soudure Martech which told me to go get a bottle of brake fluid and that it would be reimbursed where I would drop the truck. When I dropped off the truck the clerk was in a bad mood and angry at me. At first he did not want to reimburse me the brake fluid pint. Then told me I had extra kilometers to pay. I explained to him that I had to make a detour to get the brake fluid and that was the reason I had more mileage on the truck. He just said it was not his problem because I did not pick up the truck at his location. I was able to get the brake fluid reimbursed. At this point the clerk was almost yelling at me and telling me I was wasting his time.

Dans cette réservation initiale, je voulais prendre la remorque à St-Hubert et la laisser à la succursale UHaul de Ste-Agathe-des-Monts. Mais cette succursale n'offre pas l'option d'un déplacement uniquement aller. La veille, la succursale du Centre-Ville de Montréal m'a contacté pour me dire que ma réservation été changé sans m'expliquer pour quelle raison; j'ai alors essayé à plusieurs reprises de contacter la succursale d'Archipel-Maison-Vivante à St-Hubert. En fin d'après-midi, j'ai réussi à parler à un employé de cette succursale pour avoir l'explication. Alors j'ai contacté UHaul par téléphone pour changer l'heure du début de ma réservation puisque je devais faire un détour par le centre-ville, mais sans succès, J'ai dû annulé ma réservation initiale pour en faire une nouvelle débutant à 7h am et compte tenu de la difficulté de faire un déplacement uniquement aller dans les Laurentides, j'ai choisi un aller-retour (beaucoup moins cher!) à la même succursale de Montréal-Ouest. À cette dernière succursale, le service a été impeccable. UHaul doit indiquer clairement sur leur site en ligne les options non offertes (aller uniquement) dans certaines succursales; cela évitera beaucoup d'inconvénients à votre clientèle et de perte de temps tant pour la clientèle que pour vos employés,

The images shown by the app about the state of the truck were not showing them, so I had to add a few photos showing important damage. I was then charged with this damage at the drop off location, which I am currently disputing (thankfully I took many pictures). I will attribute the blame on whoever inspected the truck at this pick-up location, although the damage could have been made overnight. Be careful. Person at reception was nice though :)

I had to use my four moving blankets to cover the floor to protect my furniture and therefore could not use them for their intended purpose. I will now need to bring the blankets to a dry cleaner to have them washed as they are too large for my washer.

Average of my trip was 12l/100 km I did 124km so I refilled for 15 litres but I get charge for 6 extra litres. And I didn't ask for the coverage but as the machine at the desk was broken, I guess they put it on by default… guys at the desk were smoking we*d during work hours that's not ok for me.

Certain steps never seem to work or need to be skipped (i.e scan of back of license and confirmation of key pick up - this step was skipped altogether by the time I reached the counter inside without any sort of prompt or confirmatio) . The process is very frustrating and unclear.

Martin D.I would put 1 star, but the employee at this location is the one who saved my day so the star is for him. I was supposed to have a truck for 8AM, got bumped at 4PM, which was not possible because I rented it for moving. I had to leave my place before noon so the next tenants could move in. I learned that I would get my truck at only 4 PM less than 24 hours before moving. I was on the phone with 2 scheduling managers during 1 hour. They were very rude and the only thing they could do is give me a truck for 2PM, which was not possible but had to accept it anyway because I was literally in deep down shit and so were the new tenants (they were also mad after UHAUL, by the way). When I got to the location at 2PM the person who was renting my truck before couldn't bring it back before 4PM instead of 2PM. I was angry like never I've been angry. The employee at the front desk managed to get me a truck for 2:30PM. He did everything he could and saved my day. Kudos to him for dealing with shitty schedules. I don't know how UHAUL manages the schedule internally, but doing that to people is beyond bad customer service. It was my first and last time with UHAUL.

It was absolutely not sufficient and when I inquired about renting another space i was told there were none available. As it is we have had to split the apartment storage which is not the best solution! The staff knowing this problem did not suggest any other solutions, offer to call up other locations for us, or make any accommodations. In addition the sign in procedure is very strange, using one keypad to log in and then another to open the door to the rental spaces. I'm not sure I could manage that trick again and it didn't even work the first time I tried it.
