The clerk was a little rude. When he inspected the vehicle, he had the engine turned on for at least 10 minutes, the fuel gage went down a little bit and he said I didn't put enough gas. So I had to fo put some more at the gas station. Not fair !!!Juan Z.

The day I reserved the truck for it was so busy and there was only one employee to serve everyone. I had to wait for 25 minutes to get the truck. I rent the truck to go get food for a charitable organization and I have a set time to go get it. The employee was great but he needed an extra person to help him. The service is excellent but the wait time is horrible. I know it's not the employee's fault...there should be two people serving the customer's in the morning.Krystine D.

The kilometres billed was incorrectly entered and doesn't represent the difference of the odometer reading rental out / rental return. Should be 33kms @ $.59/km. Otherwise, very nice truck, comfortable and durable. A little disappointed in fuel expense, probably just the difference between Heavy Duty & Light Duty trucks. I have listened about Uhaul and i thought it would be good company but that was my mistake. I had a very bad experience with the performance of employees working there. Highly non cooperative and without knowledge . I was struggling with my problem and more than three hours i park the vehicle at their centre. Without my fault i have paid the penalty and they have simple one answer that we cannot help you out. I dont want to see the uhaul even in my dreams. The vehicle is having mal functions and they have no solution to solve it. Moreover , your road side assistance service is pothetic and it is better to close it because it is of no use. Never advice anyone to go with uhaul because of it, not only i paid more but also waste my whole day. Also due to this experience, i feel depression and tension.ASHOK S.

Yesterday, I rented a track for an hour and a half, me personally cleaned the track, after I was charged 15$ for cleaning, I use U Haul regularly many years already, I cleaned every time, but yesterday I was charged cleaning fee , this is not fear Maybe, because the person was mad on me, I dropped off the track at the same place where I took it, he asked me to bring it to the front door for him to check, I said sorry I don't have time , maybe that's why he changed me extra. Again I rent a track regularly, if you see my file, and yesterday as always me personally cleaned it. I will make a complaint, it's just not fair. Thank youElena M.

I was unhappy that the loading buggy and tarp bag were unmovable because they robbed cargo space. I had organized myself to not require those items for my move and was forced to load my things around these unforeseen items which was more effort than I thought it would be. I was not aware that the buggy and tarp would be part of the rental and was deceived when I saw that they couldn't be removed without incurring fees. This should be an option upon reception of the truck in my view. We lost usable space in the cargo area and had to arrange for another personal vehicle to carry items that could not fit as a result. your website is not user friendly for booking or returning the van. It would greatly benefit from improvements to enhance the customer experience. This was one of the worst experiences, ever !!! The manager at this location was rude, belligerent and unprofessional. He actually called a paying customer ENTITLED for questioning the rental policy I was being asked to agree to by his agent. I was told over the phone that I could secure a vehicle with my visa debit and they even took my visa debit down to hold the appointment then when I arrived on moving day they refused to let me book without a credit card insane it’s literally the day I’m moving and they refused me a truck they booked with my card in the first place the staff was rude and the whole facility was dirty they said they had poison lying around for the rats wtf ?? J'étais extrêmement déçue et frustrée d'apprendre surplace que je ne pouvais pas bénéficier du mois gratuit d'entreposage que j'avais discuter par téléphone. D'après la personne de l'acceuil il arrive souvent que le standard se trompe. Mais là c'est une erreur d'environ 300$ qui est très fâcheux. La personne du standard m'a juste indiqué que je devais d'abord avoir louer le camion avant la location de l'entrepot. Ma location d'entrepot était pour l'aveil donc j'ai fait changer la date de réservation d'entrepot sur ses conseils. I would usually give UHaul an excellent rating, but for this move it was a disaster. I had pre-arranged the rental of a second locker for Oct 1 and was careful to ask whether it was OK if I came later to put the lock on because the moving truck would be arriving sometime between the 10th and the 18th of the month. When I got there, I discovered that the locker was rented to someone else. i was told that according to your policy, if someone does not come to put their lock on the locker quickly enough, the reservation is cancelled. I guess I understand why, because you have a lot of no-shows, but I was under the impression that I would start to be charged from the 1st of October automatically. This caused a great deal of inconvenience for us because we now will have to 1) pay more for a larger locker until a smaller locker is available, and 2) move my stuff again into the smaller locker. To avoid this for others in the future, I think your communications should make the rules about reserving more clear and up-front. It would have been nice to have a reminder email saying that my reservation would be canceled if I did not call or present myself in short order. I spent over $6500 at this location in the past year!!! Due to some unforeseen circumstances, I was running late on the day I had to vacate my storage locker by the "deadline" of 12:00pm. I asked the location manager, EMILE MURCIANO, if I could have a grace period of 1-2 extra hours (so as to avoid paying $360 for another month, when I'd be just 1-2 hours late). He flat out refused to accommodate my request. When he was reminded about how good of a customer I was and how much money I had spent at this location in the past year, he claimed that it was out of his control and blamed it on "U-Haul central." I contacted U-Haul customer service and they also tried to convince EMILE MURCIANO to have some compassion and leeway, yet he repeatedly declined to accommodate me in any way whatsoever. U-Haul customer service told me that the decision isn't up to them, but is at the sole discretion of the location manager. So, not only was the customer service absurdly poor for not accommodating a very simple request made by a high-paying customer, the location manager, EMILE MURCIANO had the audacity to blatantly LIE TO CUSTOMERS. He could have easily permitted another 1-2 hours but tried to blamed "U-Haul central." This type of behaviour is egregious. Also worth noting: the larger locker I rented at $360/month had ONE tiny lightbulb hanging from the ceiling and made it impossible to see anything in my unit unless I brought a flashlight. That is unacceptable. Also, there are signs stating that this facility utilizes insect and pest control, yet somehow when I unpacked my contents, there were flying insects in my boxes (which could NOT have come from me). I have videos and photos to support all this. So, overall, I would NEVER recommend this facility to anyone and I would strongly recommend that EMILE MURCIANO receive basic customer service training.John S. | Overall Experience
