Great experience using U-Haul for my first time. Honestly your $19.95 rental rate is false advertising to me. Yes the truck was only $20 but my bill was damn near $60 and I only had it for 1 round trip totaling 3 hours.

Terrible attitudes, as if they are doing the paying customer a favor, instead of appreciating the business. Then when there was some small error on the systems part/website/whatever, the guy just says " cant help you "bro"". Call Customer service. Isnt that his job? So frustrated. Then the dude personally text me at 630am that hes reporting the truck stolen that I recently rented. First, i have always paid any dues to uhaul. The move took longer than expected, but wasn't worried about the cost. Then threatening me with wgat is essentially Geand Larsen...wow. already contactacted my lawyer. He laughed. Charge ne with a "stolen " vehicle that i pay for and returned . Also had to clean it before i used it and throw what seemed to be some homeless people's stuff away that was in the cargo area. Lawsuit headed your way. Not for anything unwarranted, but i want back what ive paid you people in the last month×2 for how much trouble its caused. For example, this is how i start my morning. Maybe y'all need to ve more careful about who is rougely representing the company. Just saying.

I originally was supposed to drop off at 24th and McDowell and they said they were full so they shouldn’t have let me pick it as a drop off location if it was full so we had to leave and take it down to another location. Though the new location was very quick, efficient, and friendly.

I was actually impressed about the customer service rep. being outside upon my return as it made it so much easier than having to go back inside wait in line and then turn it in. If it was just by coincidence the CSR was outside, I think that would be a possible added convenience. Overall good experience for me. That's why I use only this location for my U-Haul needs.

The return process was not easy. There's too much of a wait to return. The guy at the customer service was rude. I just mentioned to him that the fuel gauge was incorrectly marked and I showed him a photo of the fuel indicator and he got annoyed. There's such a thing as smiling at the customer and not being rude, but guess at this location, it is an anomaly.

The vehicle had some type of steering or wheel alignment problem, even though it was brand new with only 85 miles. The vehicke was hard to steer and keep in control at times, especially on the freeway at higher speeds.

The GM Shaun at the Indian school location was very helpful but the overall experience here in Arizona was trash! Confusing with the one way truck rental I was told I’d get one month free for storage since I was here from California if I returned the truck to another location (24th and McDowell) but did not. The storage unit at 3425 S. 40th and was raggedy!! Had to beg and pry the door to close... since the workers had already put most of the stuff in the unit, I just dealt with it. The driveways are alleys! Very tiny!

The staff at the 26th St & Indian School location are the absolute best! And the facility is very clean. We had many, many issues when moving and needing to store, none of which were caused by Uhaul. When we ran into challenges, the staff here took care of everything and helped us through a very difficult time. Two years later and they continue to take care of us. Thanks guys!

Truck was dirty outside, windows dirty with bugs and sand nobody washed it.

We had three flat tires during our trip, the car dolly was damaged, the gear on the truck kept getting stuck. When we had a flat tire on the side of the road we had to wait two hours for someone to fix the tire. Also, the car dolly wasn’t available at the truck location when we picked it up when we had to go to another location to get the car dolly. All unacceptable and awful customer experiences. I’d like compensation to my bill, otherwise I will be writing a negative review online.

Poor customer service. Refuse to help me after installing a trailer to tow my son's car to San Diego. The trailer was barely clearing 3 inches off the road. No way I was going to drive off like this. The guy said it was my problem. Waited 2 hours until I spoke with the owner of this facility who agreed to help solve the problem.

How come you do not ask about the conditios of your trucks? Althoug it was very clean the mots important thing is the engine which I strugled to sturn on, called customer help no answer after 20 min. I hang up tje noise it makes when driving is scaring very loud and terrible during my driving I was all streesed out thinking fricking engine was going to explote and leaving me in the middle of the road. Very dangerous driving like that yoir business is putting people's lives in dangerous

Why is it everytime I rent a truck uhaul holds money and they take out qhats owed and still hve my others funds on a hold u guys have over 800 dollars on hold on my acct!

Helpful and knowledgeable staff, flexible policy on truck rentals is a plus (I changed from a 25-footer to a 15-footer at last minute, based on assessment of my load by the mover hired thru U-Haul website). Nobody explained to me how to work the downshift system, which surprised me--I had no idea about it, but luckily my co-driver did. If he had not already understood how to operate the downshift I might have been in trouble. Should remember to explain this to drivers. It sure would be nice for U-Haul to supply usb ports to connect current phone/tech equipment; you've got the lighter ports, why not just slip in the usb port for the drivers. Or at least advise them to buy one or two.

I reserved a trailer online. But when I picked it up, it was as if almost none of the information already provided was in the system and it took about 15 minutes to provide it to the employee again, including phone numbers, drop off location, credit card info, etc. Why provide all that online and then do it all over again at the pick up location?

The U-Haul experience at 26th and Indian School was excellent. How ever the U-Haul experience trying to get the Pick Up reserved is another story. My wife tried twice to arrange a reservation for renting a Pick Up truck from U-Haul. Twice her phone call was dropped after she had input personal information into the website. After two dropped calls we decided to just go to the location in the morning and rent there. After renting and driving away with the truck, my wife received a call at home asking if we wanted to reserve a Pick Up truck. The caller had all the information that she had entered from the dropped calls. She told the individual on the phone that we did not need a reservation and the reason why. About 4 hours later while I was in the pickup truck, I received another call from a different person from U-Haul asking if I wanted to reserve a pick up truck. As my wife had explained earlier and I now explained to the caller we had already rented the truck and were deeply concerned that U-Haul's software on the website retained all that private information and were using it to try and sell us something we now already had. I asked the woman on the phone to delete all the private information that U-Haul saved from a dropped phone call and that if I needed anything more from U-Haul, I would not use the website to arrange it. I still don't have any assurances from U-Haul that they have deleted the private information from the system. I would like to be assured that the information has been deleted.

The requirements to take a picture of the vehicle's mileage, gas, inside, trailer and location are a little tedious. When a person rents a uhaul truck, they are moving. Especially when they drop it off after hours. They are exhausted, the last thing they want to do on a phone at 11% is spend 10 minutes taking pictures

I was late to my pickup because the truck i reserved wasn't available, but I didn't get a phone call about it until I already traveled across town in traffic. So then I had to go across town to another location.. in traffic. The sales associate I worked with at the Indian School Rd location was rather rude and not very nice. The truck was great. The return process was easy, and the gentleman that did the return intake was great. I'll probably use a different company next time because of the issues I had with reservations.

Nice and accommodating of change. Needed to change pick up date to next day after hitch installation. Manager locked car and kept it along side the building for us. Was understaffed in the AM, but we arrived right before a large group of customers. Hitch install price was a bit higher than the estimate on the Uhaul website. They did set us up for a very successful move.

My reservation was changed from 3pm to 1pm, they said they left me a message to tell me, which was impossible since my mail box was full at the time. So when I went to pick up the truck my reservation was canceled. They also changed it to a 15ft truck, I reserved a 10ft truck. Was not happy!! They did get the truck for me eventually.

We had originally rented a Budget truck, but the transmission went out on us on the freeway in Phoenix. After dealing with budget on the phone for hours and getting little to no help, we were towed to the Indian School location next to the U haul store. We were extremely discouraged with Budget and decided to go in to your store. Nathan was working and saw our frustration. He helped us get into a great truck that would get us to Syracuse, Utah. He also gave us a good deal as we had already paid for the other truck as well as a $400 tow bill! We will ALWAYS use and recommend U haul from now on!

I don’t have any complaints about the employees That helped me. The location was grossly understaffed and even though I did the self checkin online to get to the front of a long line, the process produced an error that required me to rent my reserved truck as a walk-in. This caused a 40 minute wait when I had movers scheduled to come 20 minutes after I arrived at the location to pick up my truck. You guys at corporate need to figure your shit out. Your self checking program does NOT work, even though my phone said I was checked in. Hire some techies who actually know what they are doing and who can make your computers and online platforms functional. maybe then you won’t have so many pissed off customers.

Returning the truck was very easy however, the truck was never reported as being turned in and I received a call 2 days after asking if I would be returning the truck. After spending some time on the phone we got everything straightened out.

Also when I took a picture of my face with my sunglasses on you had somebody standing by so quickly tell me to take a new picture soon as he had a minute to wait a long time to redo that. Yes, it was Saturday morning around 8:00 AM, but the line was almost out the door with waiting customers. Other than that, no complaints.

When moving out, I was alerted that an object of mine was on the roof. Upon inspection it was a jar. The wire roofing seemed pulled up. I now notice im missing my bike and bag of suits. UNIT 1513.

Your company/this location is absolutely horrible. I have never received such awful customer service. I had a storage unit from October of 2016 until a few days ago (August 2018) and I regret it!

The big huy was extremely rude and intimidating. I asked him for a storage downstairs he tried to give one upstairs. I told him that it was easier for the movers, he replied, what do you care about
