Pod did not arrive when promised POD WAS LOST FOR 4 WEEKS, multiple excuses given, multiple times we were told he was looking for it, and multiple times we were told "it's coming" and it didn't arrive. When we finally threatened a lawsuit, he suddenly found the time to find our pod. The pod was delivered, then NOT PICKED UP 3 times when we were told it would be, then sat in our driveway for another 7 days, even though we called every day. This was my first time reserving a U-Haul U-Box and will be my last. We were told that the the box arrived at one location, the location confirmed over the phone that it was there & when it came time to unload my items, the Uhaul location said they did not have it, it was at another location. This led to lost time and cost incurred with movers. Never again will I use Uhaul UBox or recommend this service to anyone.Enrique A.

I was given the wrong trailer and she was able to update my paperwork with the correct trailer, locate it, hook it up, and send me off. The counter person was too busy chit-chatting with people, co workers, etc, all while I was just standing there waiting to pick up my rental van. I was under a deadline and was just standing there for 15 minutes waiting for no reason. It almost seemed intentional that he was stalling moving slow and talking to random people while I was waiting. My time is valuable and I feel like it was wasted. Upon pickup of this van it was incredibly dirty to the point people had drawn there names in the side. I took picture to document this. When I returned the vehicle I stated I should not have to pay the $25 cleaning fee as I did not get the vehicle dirty. They went ahead and charged me the cleaning fee anyways. This is unacceptable and as much as I rent from UHaul this will be the very last time.Shawn M.

I have not been to this location so I cannot directly review the location. However, the scheduling department omitted to schedule for the U-boxes to be picked up from storage and delivered to me on time. It was completely missed and they didn't even realize it until I called in to check on the order. Very poor business processes and practices. NOTE: The location manager was lovely and he and the staff completely customer focused. They were attentive even though grossly understaffed. I was actually engaging with the manager who was helping with my rental when the general/regional manager called him and inappropriately addressed him about a situation outside the location manager's control. Although the call was private, the GM/RM's tone was harsh and inexcusable and because he never allowed the location manager the opportunity to speak, he wasn't concerned about hearing what the barriers, lack of tools to drive positive outcomes or context around the situation was. The location manager is a quality leader. Perhaps UHaul should consider reevaluating middle level leadership.Andrea A.

I dropped it off, clerk took my keys and was told an email would be emailed. I don't know if they were able to confirm my return and have to wait a few days.. ??? I ordered 2 dozens blankets; I was told they would be in the truck. I didn't check and sure enough, no blankets, but I was definitely charged for them. Movers got to my big/important furniture in the evening and I realized no blankets. We had to just wrap the furniture and try and use patio furniture cushions; it was too late to get blankets. Consequently, some of my furniture was damaged during the drive from Houston to Dallas. Not happy. Additionally, the truck I rented was given to me with less than 3/4 of the tank of gas. This location handled the recommendation for number of boxes or drop off. They did not handle pickup and delivery. I was not happy with NW Freeway. Spring Cypress & 45 is my home location. Make sure you check the gas level before you drive away. Level was not as stated. Also air-conditioner would only blow on the windshield (like it was stuck on defrost). Everything else was great. Jeff was awesome to work with!JAMES L.

The only thing bad about this location is that when you return a vehicle they are super slow to get a final receipt sent. I've rented there 3x this year and I've had to call them the next day asking for a receipt. Each time when I leave they say "we'll email it and you'll have it within 20 minutes". Never arrives. customer service at this location was very good and provided excellent customer service The issue I have is with your rental location at 4021 N INTERSTATE 35 in AUSTIN where I picked up the truck. The dash had a warning message that the RR tire was low s d the front desk person said she could not help me which was not safe and poor customer service. I had to take the truck to a station. to get it taken care of of. In addition I got other warning ⚠️ messages while driving the truck back to Houston. It was a young lady that got an attitude with me because I did not know the procedures of setting up an account. I did not know that you needed three contact phone numbers. Had I been told that beforehand the process would not have been as complicated. Then when I opened up the storage unit there were pest traps all over the floor. I went downstairs to ask the about them and they told me to just leave them in there. Which made no sense to me because the floor was almost completely covered with the sticky traps. From Day 1 I had issues getting in/out my storage! The lock was damaged and I had to have assistance from a member in the office every visit. We had to beat the lock open/closed to secure it! I made several complaints, nothing was done but I was billed every month on time for a broken storage.
