I had to change trucks from my original truck, you guys said it was the same price for a smaller truck. Then the second truck had a flat tire, the extra mileage was due to the out of the way location, and when I dropped the truck off it was at a half a tank and I get charged for gas. I have always used your company and never had any of these issues in the past.

Location was understaffed and it took forever to complete either of my transactions. Also, the free one-month storage should have outside (close) access to the parking lot, not interior hard-to-get-to-tight quarters inside location with a five foot high door and ceiling.

I have used this location before — if the veteran knowledgeable guy is in you are ok. If not, the new guy filling in will tell you I’m new and really don’t know what I’m doing so I can’t help you — He says you might want to book the truck online or through U haul directly.

They pulled the truck from the back stated repairs was completed and truck was dirty... received truck @7:00am and loaded with furniture at my daughters apt complex and the truck never made out of the parking lot it took another 5hrs before I could get a truck and I paid $216.00 and they only refunded $100.00 knocked off it should have been free because we had to off load the truck again onto another truck...NOT MY FAULT NEVER WILL RENT FROM THAT LOCATION AGAIN NEEDED ALL MY MONEY BACK

Would it be anyway possible to start allowing late pick ups after hours. Customer would be responsible for hooking up? I was traveling and traffic was bad to the point I might miss out do to closing. If I would’ve missed it, that would have totally caused a big problem.

Everything from the first phone call with the local store personnel to the last minute of the rental process locally was wonderful. Every person at the local U-Haul location was knowledgeable, polite, courteous and patient with me and all my questions. The manager is wonderful...very helpful, mindful and experienced in her job! The building was clean, well-stocked, and easy to navigate. The truck was easy to drive, comfortable, and accommodated our needs perfectly! My only issue was with the NATIONAL scheduling representative who took my information over the phone and did not log it into my reservation adequately...so...double check your reservation details...that is where I noticed the error. The LOCAL personnel caught it, too, and were more than helpful in fixing the issue.

This location is awesome... the U-Haul customer service in general is atrocious, maybe even worse than that. Never have I had such a struggle with getting assistance or speaking to someone who was actually helpful. Honestly, if I had had any other option, I would not have rented with U-Haul.

There is a sign at this return location that indicates that one must stop and wait for employee to come check the truck in; however, no one ever came out. I had to go in, which is fine, the sign is just misleading. If this isn't how this office operates, then they should remove the stop and wait here sign.

Have more people working the registers in the morning when people are coming in to get their rental... the wait wasn’t long15 or 20 minutes but when you are in a timeline that 20 minutes can be the difference between getting moved completely and not. The staff were great very friendly.. will be back!! This is not my first rental with this team

I waited 15 min. for an attendant to assist me. The store has two cash registers. The customer ahead of me was having issues qualifying there payment. A second U-haul attenent asked me if I was buying boxes. I responded no picking up a trailer. That 2nd attendant then said, the other attendant would assist me & then walked into the back. There is no reason when two attendants are behind the counter that both cash registers are not being used to assist customers. As a result of above my experience in picking up a trailer took over 30 minutes. No reason what so ever for a manager to walk to back of store when customers at counter. Also, even though the trailer checked out okay during the day hours, I learned that night that the left tail light was not working for breaks or lights. I worked for turn signal only.

First off, I was in the pick up office on Broad street in Augusta, Vs for over 3 hours due to the computer system not cooperating and kept kicking the employee out of the system after he selected my insurance coverage! Then I had to actually call the 1-800 number to rent and pay for my uhaul truck. Then they were having trouble printing out my contract! So the office had to be on the phone with technical support for over half an hour. Also, I had to pay a good bit higher price for the truck than expected. On the website, the 20 foot truck said it would cost $148. In the office, it coated me $234 instead!! I added the $14 insurance coverage also. I asked if there were any adjustments that could be made and the only thing they did was switch the drop off location for me that took $50 off, but the distance I had to drive was an additional 58 miles and took 45 minutes to get there from my new address so they didnt calculate the additional miles and I was charged an extra $30 on my debit card the following day! I'm very unsatisfied with my entire experience. I called uhaul and they couldn't help me get a refund or a partial refund so I was transferred to the drop off location I went to in Greenwood, SC. The employee said she would try to get me at least $20 of my money back and said she would call me back in a few minutes but she never called me back. They even tried to accuse me of creating a dent on the side of the truck that was already there!!! VERY upsetting! Lastly, during my transit in moving, one of my most sentimental heirlooms from my grandmoster that passed away, an antique lamp, was broken, along with 3 candle holders So I am having to file a insurance claim on those items and hopefully and BETTER be compensated for them since I did pay for insurance for any damages rendered. I feel I should be reimbursed all of the $30 charge for all of the trouble I had to go through and I do not recommend anyone to rent from Broad Street location in Augusta Georgia, or better yet just go with a completely different rental company for the price change and being miss led and having to wait so long in the office, for being charfed for miles that they failed to include, for blaming me for the dent that was already there and not getting back with me to give me a refund. I plan on giving uhaul a bad review on the better business bureau.

Very slow process. Computer system seemed to be not working properly or person not fully trained. Before transaction completed had to walk out to hook of the trailer and take a picture of the hook up and my license tag and then walk back into the sales room to complete.
