Rented a 4 x6 trailer. From Syracuse New York to take it to Myrtle Beach South Carolina for a family vacation. They charged me 425.51 for a 4 day rental. We reversed a same size from the same location to return. 2 weeks later. We pick it up in myrtle beach was only charged 137.86 for a 4 day rental. My husband called to see why there was a huge difference in price they told him. It was all about supply and demand. They didn't even offer a refund for the difference. I WILL NEVER RENT FROM UHAUL AGAINNICOLE W.

The area for this location was easy to find. There is a brand new store right on Route 11, which i tried returning my U-Haul to around 5pm, but no one was there. The door said it was open until 7pm. I tried calling the store and no one answered so it was forwarded to U-Haul support who couldn't help me at all. I eventually decided to go further down the street and ended up finding another store specifically for drop offs, yet there was no sign at the other store to tell me there was another store down to street to drop my truck off. After I dropped it off the process was easy, so that made up for not knowing where I was going at first.COREY B.

The first gentleman that helped me seemed like he could care less. It started as a very bad experience. I wasn't given much information or recommendations for my move. This was my first time moving. I also wasn't moving down the street but to Charlotte North Carolina. I felt like I was a nuisance. The second person to help me, Nicole, was awesome. She answered my questions that I had. I needed a box for my tv and this location was currently out. She called a different location to find out how many they had. She couldn't get through so she called someone else. Bottom line is that she found a location that had the box for me. She went above and beyond to accommodate me. She is a wonderful asset to the uhaul team. Thank you so much Nicole! I was unable to select the local I wanted online or w/phone calls. My U-Haul experience honestly did not involved this particular location, rather it involved your customer service representative on your toll free phone line. The young lady I spoke with was rude and had plenty of attitude to share with me regarding the fact that I requested use of a van for a full 24 hours. No where in the reservation confirmation was there any notification of my time limit with the vehicle. Only when I pre-checked in was I provided information regarding 15 hour use of my reserved vehicle. This was unacceptable. Your UX for mobile devices is atrocious and lacks any common mobile/web design concepts for usability. The interface leaves a lot to be desired.SALVATORE T M.

Office condition and personnel (Jack and Lisa) very professional and extremely helpful, and the storage room was clean and dry, but the facility was under construction so it was very difficult to navigate the driving lanes, and the surface onto which we had to unload the furniture was unfinished and uneven, precluding the use of our furniture dolly and handtruck. I appreciate that U-Haul was able to make this storage room available to me, but I had also requested a climate-controlled room because of the expensive nature of the furniture and its antique age. I did not find out that the storage room is not climate controlled until I arrived to unload, too late to pursue a different location. Very disappointing.RALPH T.

A scrap mark on lower right side was not cleared. Car dolly not available at the van pick up site, but manager did locate one nearby. At the tow-dolly site, kid could not fix the broken tail-light or the loose bolts on the trailer coupler, had to got to yet a third site for the repairs, still, 100% better than Budget who waited till I was in Syracuse to pick up the vehicle when they called and said no vehicle. available, seven days after I completed what I thought was the reservation. I was very disappointed with the reservation system. I booked online and was guaranteed at the Erie Blvd E. U-Haul location. This was done about 6 weeks in advance. That is very close and most convenient. I knew nothing of a pickup change to Cicero until Saturday morning around 11am. This was very disappointing & made pick up & return very inconvenient The Cicero location was very accommodating but the overall experience with the change of locations was extremely disappointing. Plus the distance between the locations was 10 miles. At .59 a mile for 20 miles the rental cost me an additional $11.80. I welcome your comments back.JOHN B.

Very happy with the vehicle. The only thing which is still unclear is what constitutes a "day". A calendar day? A 24 hour period? If someone picks up a vehicle on Friday at 5 PM and returns the vehicle 48 hours later (Sunday at 5 PM) is that 2 or 3 days?Paul C.

THIS location was excellent. However we originally were supposed to pick up our trailer at the Starlight Motel in Seneca Falls. They were late getting the trailer to their facility (didn't arrive until nearly 1PM, we were supposed to pick it up in the morning), then the trailer they had gotten was completely unacceptable. The rails on the inside for securing the cargo were all broken and falling off the walls. We then had to spend another three hours finding, and then collecting, the trailer from the Cicero location, which was an hour's drive from us. I have learned never to rent a trailer online again. I will make my arrangements directly with one of the larger dedicated UHaul locations. Very poor first impression of renting a trailer from UHaul.DAVID L.

I am horrible with names. But, the young lady was super fantastic and the young man with her when I returned the Uhaul was very helpful also,. ' I did have trouble with the driver's side door and moving the seat back for my height. Overall I would highly recommend this location and the service to anyone who needs it in the future. When you attempt to return a vehicle and find that the key won't fit in the drop box- you are forced to bring the vehicle home for the night and have to pay for the extra miles which is not a fair practice. I paid $10 in mileage fees due to this. Not happy and won't rent from this location again.Charles C.

The car was not clean, no big deal compared to the overall experience. I reserved online and requested a 4:00pm to 4:00 pm rental. Your response was to inform me that the vehicle would be available only from 12:00-12:00. By doing that, you assure a second day charge because you already KNOW that I need it after the 24hr.time runs out. I was overcharged for the "insurance " and also charged almost 40$ for the second day. I returned it at 3:00 pm. So.... $19.95 +22.42 mileage charge+10.00 gas(gas tank was not at 3/4 but I was told to return it at 3/4 tank which I did) + your add on fees took the total to $87.48. Absolutely ridiculous when the van was driven 38 miles. Lastly, when my husband picked up the vehicle the customer service person was ignorant and very rude. The exact same thing happened when I dropped it off. I've worked in customer service for years and have no problem saying this transaction with uhaul was unpleasant. Might be my last.ROBERT S.
The practice of waiting to schedule a pick up until the day before resulted in my driving 32 miles out of my way on the day I had to pick up equipment as opposed to going around the corner of my house. I booked my reservation nearly a month in advanced once I decided to go with Uhaul. I was no happy to get the phone call the day before telling me I had to drive out to Cicero to pick up my truck when I literally lived within two mile of my desired pick up location. Even though the customer service was excellent at the Cicero location. It caused us to be delayed in our plans and therefore through everyone off by about an hour and a half.ELAINE M R.
