I've used this location in the past. Picking up my rental has no issues or concerns. Returning my rental, however, was ridiculous. The staff member that received my rental, I had not met before, and was not only entirely rude, but decided it was his mission to find someway to charge me extra. After politely arguing with him, he decided that the gas was less than when I picked up the truck. My mistake was that I didn't take a picture of the gauge, as I brought it back with the exact same gas. Considering it was busy and I had other engagements, I decided not to ask for a supervisor to argue over $7, as this staff member wasted enough of my time with everything else. This the second time in 2 months that we have rented a moving truck from Uhaul in kelowna BC at the Enterprise Way location. The staff is friendly and efficient and would definitely recommend them. Our move did involve well over 100 km and this added up to quite a large mileage charge. i wish Uhaul had some free km included in the price like Budget rental does.YVON S.

The check in clerk at end of day processed paperwork without even looking at me. Completed a refund for an item I returned, just pushed back the paperwork to me and said the truck is fine, you can go now. At pick up and return, only one customer service clerk was there to process the long line of customers. And READ THE FINE PRINT, folks! They sell insurance that doesn't cover the whole truck! We had a very negative experience with trying to pick up a trailer in Sparwood, the trailer malfunctioned and we couldn't bring all of our items with us. The managemebt was rude and unapologetic. When we arrived at Uhaul in Kelowna on Enterprise Way we were greeted with great customer service and support by a very understanding young man, which made up for the negative experience the day before. I wish to have someone call me for everything that happened. From day 1 on the chat about having unsatisfactory vehicles for BC winter driving, to improper advertising about 10day shipping stress, to delivery on both sides, just awful experience!! I wish to be compensated for ALL my inconvenience by at least a minimum refund of $450 of shipping charges. You may pull phone conversation to review all the inconvenience. Once again...long wait to get the vehicle and to return it. Trucks actual mileage was 30km over what the paperwork stated. Fuel levels were 1/4 lower than the paperwork stated. But best of all there was food on the floor , a pita to be exact. I was told it must have been there for ages...under the seat. It was on the passenger floor as plain as the nose on my face.They told me they had used the truck that morning and even brought it up front for me. No one could be bothered to take the food out of the truck before handing it over to a customer? Not a single 'sorry' was offered. Crappy customer service at this location. I wont be using the Enterprise location anymore. You could really benefit from some customer service training for your staff.ROBERT C.

The windshield wipers work but the fluid will not work on the truck. I didn't realize until I was on Highway 97 so traveling was an adventure. Thankfully I made it to my destination safe and sound. Bernie is just excellent! Needs a raise there! He always knows how to take care of issues and when the other new guy screwed up majorly the other day! I even had a note right on the steering wheel that the new guy just IGNORED! I was not pleased as I dropped off truck at 8 am so before the 24 hrs time cut off and noted that and he ignored my note and checked it in his way! There was a employee Bret, he was rude and angry. He insulted my wife. She asked him what was going on and he started yell at her. I told him I was filing a complaint with the manager and he said he was going to Eblock me? He gave the trailer I rented to the person in front of me, and had to change paper work on both contracts pick up was at 9am I left at 9:50am terrible service. Staff are less thank helpful, and also beyond incompetent ... Given misinformation multiple times. Also was charged for this unit AFTER it was emptied and we closed the contract (or the staff told us it was closed). One woman there is competent, but the manager and front staff don't know what they are doing and have no people skills. When asked a question they don't know they sit and stare at you blankly until you walk away. Less than impressed and will be telling friends NOT TO EVER USE THIS LOCATION FOR ANY REASON. had the same difficulties while renting trucks from this location in the past. Staff need some sort of training and knowledge about the locations services BEFORE being put on the desk with no manager around. The male manager of this location gets beligerant and downright rude when we are attempting to clear up disputes caused by his staff's previous misinformation given to us. More staff behind the counter so that customers don't have to wait as long standing in line to get keys, sign paperwork, purchase supplies, etc. I have rented a truck 3 seperate times in the past year or so and had to wait in line to pick up the truck/keys for over 20 mins all 3 times. Two of those times the lineup was so long that it actually reached all the way outside and well into the parking lot/sidewalk, and resulted in almost an hour and a half spent waiting in order to pick up our truck. Front staff fantastic :) When I was unloading close to 8;00 pm the closing South Asian informed us that you closed at 8:00. When one reserves a truck it should be a guaranteed thing you get the truck on time...not depending if someone brings it back on time. Also you should not have to go out of town to pick it up. Overall a good experience, however upon picking up trailer I was told to go wait by them and someone would come hook it up. I waited for over a half an hour untill I had to go ask someone what was going on. Then they hooked me up to the wrong tailer and I had to go wait in line to get my paper work changed to reflect the trailer I now had on my truck, overall it was disappointing to see the lack of communication within the staff. When I dropped it off the guy unhooked it from my truck then had to reattach it so I could drive it around the building so it could be cleaned. More organization would reflect a better experience going forward. I wasted close to 2 hours in total between picking up trailer and dropping off, so I was disappointed with the experience and might think twice before renting from U-Haul again.Morgan L.

Wasted between 20 - 30 minutes trying to use a credit card machine that wasn't working. Got into the vehicle and found that the front tire was low. Had to wait to get the tire pumped up.ROBERT H.
Regarding having our stuff in storage, the experience was good, the only issue is the u-haul charging me 2 units for the whole month of December when I used them for just a few days. 1 unit I used for 1 week in December after payment and the second unit for 3 days after payment. I thought I would have a refund for the remind of the month but I didn't. I paid the units online for December's month even thou I knew that we were using just for a few days, but that's what honest people do, pay their bills, right? However, the units are sitting empty now, u-haul took the whole monthly payment and will rent the same units and will make more money! That's the only issue that I have! 2 of the fellows were nice and helpful. I was told to go out and find the truck myself. When I could not use the latch the young lady laughed at me because I didn't know where the pin was to open the latch. I had to go inside to ask her to help me. Then the key would not turn over the engine. Had to go back in again. The fellow who helped said you have to pull the key partly out to start it WOW!! Then I started backing it out and almost hit the truck next to me because it was parked so close. 3rd time going in to ask for help. Keep in mind, every time I went in for help I had to wait for someone to come back in. I had an appointment to pick something up with the U-Haul!! Can your people not spend the 5 minutes required to make certain that the renter knows how things work and that everything is alright? Front office staff are friendly and helpful, but elusive. Not uncommon to stand in the front for 10 minutes without seeing a staff member, or to wait 20 minutes in a line to speak to one of them. On the flip side, every time I spoke to the GM (Andrew) I had a bad experience. He's a horrible little man with the wrong attitude for dealing with people, be they staff or customers. For two years in a row now I have been told I had storage for my boat. As I go to bring my boat in they say that my reservation confirmation was no good as the manager had just given ours places away. The fact that I got it resolved after hours of working on it myself and pushing the staff to get something done. Shows a lack of management and organizational skills. I feel that head office or corporate or whoever may have given all our spots away dealt with the customers extremely inappropriately. I believe for all the inconveniences and the sheer lack of trust your company shows. That they would give some kind of gratification or credit to the customer like myself. I am happy to be in the storage unit with my boat but by far had to work very hard to get it. The staff that was on site and Kelowna worked very hard to try and help me out. There were people living in units beside mine. My stuff was ruined and destroyed from mice because of the people living in the units beside me. When I signed up I was not asked if I wanted the protection plan. Then I was called a liar for saying that I wasn't offered the protection plan. I will be going to the papers in Vancouver Kelowna I'm going to go write the city. I believe people were going into my locker and stealing stuff because I am missing a lot of stuff. My main concern is the difficult access to the storage parking spaces in the warehouse. Very inconvenient to have to go into the office, line up, then ask someone to open the back door. When I first rented the storage space over a year ago, I was told that they would be putting in some kind of key fob or card access system. This never happened. The monthly storage was fine but I left because they are renovating the place and both of my car covers are totally ruined because they are caked on with dust and dirt... They are ruined and I need new ones. Second of all, the day I’m checking out, no one notices my wife and I and are 2 year old daughter are still in the compound getting our vehicle to leave and they locked us in. There is no one around to let us out as they closed with us still in the place! And you can’t call anyone because you end up getting people in the states as they are an American company. From the start it was a bad experience. Was told one door code, tried it multiple times, didn’t work! Waited for over an hour to get in to the storage unit. Was told we could go anytime and drop stuff off, wasn’t true. Trying to call, is a nightmare. Get put on hold forever, then get hung up on. On move out I noticed quite a bit of mouse droppings in my storage unit. This was quite alarming to me as we moved from out of province and used your storage facility to keep our house contained basically. All our precious items were there and to know that mice were all inside and around our belongings, really made us very uncomfortable. Being in the food industry I am quite aware of “hantavirus” and it’s effects to humans through inhalation of the droppings. We had to clean and sanitize all items that we took from the storage unit after finding the traces of mouse droppings. This took up a lot of our time. We were more than unhappy with this and when I asked your staff about it, they responded with “did you have insurance?”.Unfortunately we did not purchase the optional insurance when renting the unit. We did not realize this was a problem and if I had known your facility was infested with mice, I wouldn’t have done buisness there let alone bought insurance. Your staff needs to be better trained and perhaps educated on hantavirus and it’s effects. To me insurance is for things like , theft, fire, floods. Not mice!! My vehicle was parked in the storage facility on Oct 16/19 to Apr 14/20. The storage space couldn't have been dirtier when I picked up my van. It is the dirtiest it has ever been since owning it for the past 21 years. Everything in that facility was covered with thick construction dust. Every customer that used/using this place deserves a refund or rebate for the treatment their vehicles have suffered. The owner should be ashamed of how their customers have been treated. I would like to talk to anyone from head office regarding my experience this winter. Last fall I rented a 40’ space for my boat to be parked in over the winter as I do every year. I was delayed by a month to move my boat in my spot as someone else was using the spot to park in even so I had already paid for the space. Every time I went to check if the unit was ready it wasn’t and in turn I paid for a month of storage $326 and wasn’t able to use the space. I asked the manager to let the people know that were parked in my spot that I would like them to pay for that month, he said he would look into it but he never called me back. Over the winter there was significant construction in the building and extreme amounts of dirt and dust in the building. Between my boat and my car I had just over $500000 worth of stuff in the unit which was completely covered in an inch of dirt and dust. I have a huge cleaning bill now due to the construction that was done inside the building over the winter it would have been nice to have been advised this was happening so myself and everyone else storing stuff could’ve made other arrangements or at least cover our possessions up to avoid this mess.
