The mobile puck up is TERRIBLE! It took me an whoke hour to get thru the pick up truck part& get keys. Also the hold on the debit card & the turn around time of processing funds for my refund is ridiculous.

The staff there is very rude! I ordered a truck 2 wheel dolly and furniture dolly a week prior to pickup. When I picked up the woman told me they didn't have one. I told her I ordered it a week prior. She said " you can order anything you want , it doesn't mean you are going to get it" she was also very rude on drop off as well. I don't think I or my friends will use uhaul again! I definitely would Not USE THEM AGAIN! I also left your truck and equipment better than I received them

Representatives need to explain the return web site in detail for new users. The lack of knowledge cost me $20 extra for not knowing how to use the site and that I needed to stay on the site before the trailer was checked in. I want my $20 back.

Please check vehicles for combination locks prior to releasing for rental. :) Other than that, our rental went very smooth and we are very appreciative of the excellent service provided.

My only issue was with the numerous locations in the Lakewood area. We ended up going to three different locations to find the box to unload. Needs to be clear instructions and street addresses on contract. In addition, when reviewing contract online, web site provides UHaul customer service number which is different from UBox customer service number. Number should match contract type. But overall a very good experience. In particular, Denise at the Fort Wayne location was invaluable ... extremely helpful and upbeat, even with all of the COVID restrictions. She definitely needs a raise or promotion or both.

We rented trucks twice this week to move to a new home. Both times when we tried to check in online after hours we had trouble doing so. I would like to suggest you have another option for people to check in after hours. What if your phone doesn't work or you have no service? I don't think one should have to pay $20 more just because their phone and/or your system goes down. Maybe offer an alternative way to return with a phone call? It would have helped us, and helped your crew not have to refund our $20 after we came in the store to show the time stamped phone pictures we had of our returned truck. Otherwise, we had a great experience at this store and with this store's manager, who was the one that helped us with our check in issues a few days later.

I requested a UHaul with Cruise Control and did NOT get one. I understand it is "what ever comes in I get" but either replace all trucks to HAVE Cruise Control for ALL or at least ATTEMPT to get one when requested by a customer. Driving long distance without Cruise is a real PAIN in the ankle and leg trying to maintain correct speed.

I booked over the phone with headquarters for 6:30 pm Friday to 6:30 pm Saturday. When I arrived at 7:48 I found out that reservations are canceled if you show up more than 30 minutes after the reservation begins. Because I gave a credit card, I assumed it was mine to use any time during that 24 hours. Also, the employees at the pickup location were upset that I got there so soon before they closed at 8:00. They said they don't help with checkouts within 30 minutes of closing. Luckily the guy set it up so I could stand outside and use my phone to still get the truck that night. None of these policies are bad, it was just challenging for me because I didn't know the policies until I had broken them.

Was forced to go to this location from orginal drop off on Goshen road in Fort Wayne, due to them saying they were full. The employees at Coldwater drop off were very RUDE. They too said they were full and we wouls have to go else where. We refused since this was second drop off already. They then tried to force us to sweep out the u haul. We refused and left. They were very rude amd unpleasant. So much so that U-haul may not be our next rental. Very disappointed.

Brake fluid was noticed under brake master cylinder area when stopped during rental. Reservoir might have been overfilled. Right side wheels were slightly out of alignment but towed fine. I had to clean interior of 12' trailer of wall dirt and floor debris before loading. Employees were very helpful at this location. They fixed a U-Haul mount assembly that was assembled incorrectly when purchased and assembled at this location 2 years ago.

I reserved a tow dolly one day ahead of time. There was a rainy ice storm on that day. I asked for a delay of my rental for one day. They refused and wanted me to pay for another day. A little understanding wouldn't hurt. And create some customer loyalty. But since this didn't happen, I wouldn't recommend this location and I probably won't go back.

Did the reservation online. Went into the store to check in and the lady behind the counter refused to check me in. She said since I did it online I had to do the process with my phone. A 5 minute in person check in turned into a 15 minute phone ordeal. Very rude and worst customer experience. There wasn't anyone in the lobby. There was a young man who was going to check me in but she said no that I had to do it on my phone! Plus customers who were checking in in person, had their truck brought to them, snow cleaned off the windshield, but for me, I had to sit in the truck for 15 minutes just to get it warm enough to get the snow off. Also with Covid, how is a customer supposed to know that the truck was sanitized properly after use? The app had me take pictures of the truck clean, and asked if a family could use the truck right away...that would lead me to believe that if clean, then they park the truck and now it's ready for the next family. Oh and there was a lock on the back door that was frozen...I had to get a cup of hot water just to get the key in to open the door. Another wasted 10 minutes!

The drop off location for trailers was not clearly marked so I put the trailer back in same spot that I picked it up from which is on a slight slope. There was no wheel chocks available so when I dropped the trailer it wanted to roll away and I had to improvise a wheel chocks while trying to keep trailer from rolling into my truck. It was very frustrating. After going through all that I noticed the other side of the lot might have been parking for returns but I can't be sure because it was not clearly designated that I could see. Other than that the rental was a smooth transaction.

The no contact retail process is length. I don't understand why more of that (verifying id) could not have been done a head of time. The truck was clean and ready. However, it was a cold frosty morning and the truck did not have a window scrapper. I just had to sit and wait on the frost to melt. It would not have been so bad if I could have done that while my ID was verified, but because your system would not allow for that it killed 35 minutes of my day.

First I received a phone call stating that the truck was parked in the wrong spot in their parking lot. The guy was not friendly on the phone or in person. It was night time when the truck was dropped off. I was going in the morning anyway to return the truck. The guy was so unprofessional and really snotty with me. He was really mad and he showed it. I did not appreciate the way he talked to me and acted like he was so superior to me. I will not recommend this location to anyone.

The driver seat didnt reall move much at all, and the seat belt barely worked. And of course i got the most beat up old looking truck on the entire lot. So wasnt very pleased to be honest. Plus theres no discount for returning it super early??

We never received a card to get access to our storage locker and that was difficult to get into then when we tried the code I entered when we bought the locker my code was changed. Then my friend rented a uhual and y’all charged her $100 which is not correct because our charges both times we rented a truck were way less than that and she made the same trip we did for our second haul.

I did have issues with the male on the phone who did the reservations! I was supposed to get a lower level bigger storage unit and when I went he gave us an upper level and smaller unit than what I was told. The lady working that day did help us but we were still stuck with the smaller unit and an upper level unit.
