Had several problems with truck which cost a day on the road therefore adding extra cost to trip. Sent e-mail to address shown for problems and did not even get a courtesy of a reply. Hopefully this will not happen to another customer. Very stressful experience.

Service was very slow. They only had one person working. It took me an hour to rent a truck, that was already reserved and paid for. - The truck I received was extremely dirty and disgusting inside. - There was damage to the outside of the truck (which the yard guy refused to review with me). - The truck was obviously not well maintained. It could barely make it up hills, and would struggle just to stay at fifty-five MPH.

Waited in line for almost 45 minutes on a Monday morning at 7 AM. When I was finally helped at the front counter I went outside to get my trailer and only one person was helping customers outside. Clearly they need more staff.

I had to wait entirely too long to pick up my equipment, and once I was done in the office, the gentleman who was supposed to get my trailer let me sit and wait for another 10 minutes prior to calling me over into the lot to get the trailer. When dropping the trailer off, I could barely pull upto the lot due to 9 trucks in the way, 1 of which being washed in the main drive way. Then once I went in side and talked to the clerk, she told me to go outside under the canopy and that there is an employee out there. Just under 10 minutes later that employee finally showed up and although he was cordial, he complained about the staff inside, complained about his wages, and complained that he was too busy. I wanted to pull the young man aside by his collar and tell him to work harder and quit bitching, we all started at the bottom somewhere, and bitching about it doesn't get you ahead. But instead, I finished my business and moved on.

Too busy of a location to take your personal approach you always feel rushed and what you have to do some employees were too busy kibitzing about sports teams by what they're doing when there was other people waiting and in a hurry I 1 Point they told me that the automatic doors were broke when in fact they were not broke someone just was too lazy to turn them on thank God for Scott the maintenance guy who took all of the situation got the keys and tried the automatic doors and they weren't save me a lot of time I'm sorry to say a lot of lazy people at this facility

Best experience ever with U-Haul. Phone reservations was under 5 minute process. Pick up was fastest ever. Vehicle in good condition and fuel efficient. Drop off again was fasted ever recorded. Five stars and a half. Location was in Surprise Arizona at Bell Road and Reems. Thank you.......... Will be back.

Promote Megan to a managers position..... we rent trailers from your company on a regular basis and each and every time we are there she has the same great attitude regardless of how many people are in line waiting in addition to that she's always (VERY) patient in circumstances where I believe the average person wouldn't stand a chance if they had people being impatient we are in the customer service business as well and know what it can be like on a day to day basis Megan deserves an "ATTA GIRL" or some type of acknowledgement that shes doing a GREAT JOB.

The people working at uhaul are bunch of dingbats! I told them I was moving to California and They didn’t let me know what if I was in need of a uhaul I could get a month storage for free! ??So I spend money I didn’t need to. Then They double charged the storage unit that i was using which I’m still waiting for a refund of $150. When we went to return the uhaul I was akwardly waiting for them to come up to the uhaul to tell me where I needed to go I was fustrated and I raised my hands- they guy raised his into a middle finger. I was shocked! All around dealing with these uhaul people was a nightmare. I would have used another company if I knew of one!

The employees were helpful, but because the tire tie downs on the trailer were messed up, we needed help getting them unhooked, so we could get our car off. Your employee had to use solvent and a crowbar to get the release to work properly and you charged me an extra $11.35 to assist with getting our car off the trailer, which is ridiculous considering the equipment didn't work properly

I had to set up packers & unpackers was charged $300 for phone #s I could have gotten on internet The u boxes were stored for over a week on each end and did not go to my address til after many calls and days I felt like the wait time . on both ends was to charge more money. would not recommend this though idea is great U haul does not provide much help/follow thru

I seriously don't like to say anything bad about people in any type of customer service job but while I was there it seemed like there was only one competent person working and that was the guy we asked for help hooking up the trailer. Due to the trailer at our initial place not being turned in on time we had to go 7 miles completely out of our way to get the trailer. Checking in paying and hooking up the trailer shouldn't of taken more then 30 minutes (I have done this before) and it took over an hour. It took them forever to type the information into the computer because someone didn't transfer the reservation over and then it stated that there was a minimum of $60 dollar charge (which no one tells you about) and I was told that it would be fine when I do my card, when I went through the charges they then said that they had to put it in manually because it didn't go in right (this entire thing took 15 minutes (way longer then it should of). Then after being told which trailer it was we went to where we were told to and someone would come help us hook it up. Waited 5 to 10 minutes no one showed so we had to go ask someone for help. This is were we found a competent person! We saw that the trailer in front was not the one assigned, the person helping us said that he will help us hook it up and then get the new number assigned. We get everything done and then have to undo it because no one can find this random trailer in the system. Overall the experience I had with this company makes me remember why I don't like using them and will avoid them as much as possible. The only competent person who we worked with was Ron and that was the guy who helped us hook up the trailer.

The only issue was the computer was having issues saying my debt card was being denied and after 3 tries, I called my bank to be told nothing was wrong on their end, and then on the 4th time it finally worked.

When I walked into the store I waited for about ten minutes for other customers and your rep Megan was anything other than helpful. There was no greeting, no thank you, more or less commands telling me what to do. Her face was expressionless and made the place feel very cold. I pulled up to my trailer and was meet by a man, can’t remember his name, to get my trailer. Again, I say meet, because he offered no greeting and truthfully connected the trailer to my truck with no words other than “we need to check the lights, can you turn the signals on?” When I returned the equipment Brian was there under the canopy but just stared at me while he ate some breakfast sandwich or donut and watch me disconnect the trailer completely before saying hi and asking me my name. I don not want to rent from you or that store again; however, it is the closest one to anything trailer related. Also, the trailer was dirty with what looked like exhaust fumes and mud.

The location was great, but the truck was terrible. Front end, tires or something was out of balance. The 26' truck drank gas like an alcoholic on a binge. We also rented the same size Penske diesel and the fuel cost was $225 compared to $470.

Used the app as I have before, at pickup I was prompted to verify my identity with a passport or other means. My vehicle was ready but I had to go inside for the keys and was not acknowledged by staff for close to 15 minutes before I finally interrupted a transaction with customer. Add to that, I paid Over $60 for a $20 truck. Too much money and hassle to move a grill.

Dawn Salisbury, at the desk, and Ron, whom was in the lot, are exemplary employees whom both epitomize customer service. Dawn was beyond helpful and kind with assisting me with first a trailer rental and then changing it to a truck rental as I realized I didn't have the proper receiver for a hitch. Granted, this was about an hour before closing. Mr. Ron was ever so helpful as well explaining that Uhaul could, at my convenience, provide hitch installation which I didn't know your company provided. But it's definitely a service I'm going to take advantage of to facilitate a trailer rental in the future. Because of Dawn and Ron's exemplary attention to customer service, I plan on making this Uhaul location my "go to" spot!

The U-Box I rented was "misplaced" in Santa Rosa, California, After two weeks, the U-Box was "found" in storage at the Santa Rosa U-Haul facility and arrived in Surprise, Arizona 10 days late.
