well all my belongings were stolen out of the U-Haul apparently and I'm pissed. U-Haul was towed to location in Charleston SC and apparently no one has an explanation on were my personal belongings went and no one from the U-Haul location will call me back and it's ridiculous.. I do not believe U-Haul's story because someone took my belongings either the tow company or someone at the king street location for U-Haul. the store manager never called me.. so trash bags just vanish out of a U-Haul in front of Harris teeter parking lot.. uhh no.. someone took my stuff or y'all through my stuff away and won't tell me.. The unit was a little dirty on the outside, but everything else was fine I was in and outKENNETH G.
I specifically asked about extra furniture pads because I wasn't sure how many I'd actually need. Was charged for an additional set even though I never even opened the packaging. I was pretty sure UHAUL's policy was use what you need and return unused items. Additionally, I did the online rental but still had to wait in line inside to get key/extra pads. The girl at the front desk was not very efficient despite the fact it was only myself and one other customer.Nicolas M.

I had to drive back a hour after moving with my 2 mover just to log in on my phone to take picture and upload of truck milesage etc then drop keys in night drop . Since it had to be done on my phone for phone number. It was bad. The two movers lived in Charleston SC. But we could not use there phone only mine there we were after moving all day trying to get access at Uhaul .com That's a lotJANET E.

Gas was below 1/8th tank. Had to put gas in before starting trip because didn't know how low the tank was. Inside had some garbage on the floor from previous rental. Asked for dolly and pads to be removed before starting rental but they were left on. Had to deal with when returning truck.ROBERT F.
I asked for a johns island drop off, just to be told by them that I had to go to king street in Charleston. If I have to do the traveling and collecting of the trailers in locations not near my house, surely there should be a discount?!?!? Even though I have uHaul locations within 15 minute drives from my house, I ended up spending 4 hours driving just to collect and drop off the trailer that I was renting. Brief summary, you guys: 1. Shipped the wrong container to me 2. Had my stuff sitting in a lot for WEEKS with no lock. 3. When the order was corrected and my stuff shipped, the lock that was attached to the container was not shipped WITH THE KEYS 4. After promising me that they would cut off the lock that I couldn't open, they REFUSED to do so when the delivery people arrived to pick up the box. Literally every step of the way I had to call to something corrected, and every time you STILL managed to find something new to screw up. I will make sure that every person I ever interact with that is even THINKING of moving is well aware of the experience they can expect to receive just because they want to save a couple bucks by going with you over literally any other service.John M.

The person in front of me ordered a pickup truck but they didn't have any so had to take a van. I ordered a dolly with mine but the apparently were â€œoutâ€. I was trying to move a refrigerator and washer dryer, booked online and was never told equipment or vehicle i wanted may or may not be available. Poor communication from the start. While the unit was not found to be as I reserved online this was not the issue of the King St staff but the online reservation system. This is a busy office but I received excellent service as if I was the only customer present. I have been waiting for the opportunity to note the amazing service delivered by Latosha (excuse misspelling). After a 13 hour drive to King st and a 13 hour return home planned the next day, I hoped for anything to make unpacking the unit and packing the trailer easier. Latosha did everything to make it easier! I pulled out of the parking lot thrilled because we were in and out so much quicker (and easier )than anticipated. Thank you!Andrea B. | Overall Experience
This team is exceptional. I got a U-Haul from another dealer and when I pulled up at King street with my first load to store, one of the young men noticed the trailer wasn’t hitched properly. He corrected the issue. I was checking out and running a little late and the staff stayed around an extra 30 minutes for me to finish.
