The service was great! The clerk that waited on us was very patient, friendly and helpful. She gave me a better drop off point, that was in Georgia ,from the original reservation that saved me time and a few dollars. Reserved the truck online the previous day; came to pick up truck, none available at my reservation time. Offered me to go 21 miles to pick up a truck and do a one way; never offered to credit account for going way out of my area. Moved my reservation to the next day (today). No dollies available, representative not pleasant nor friendly. My alternate driver noticed the miles on the truck did not match the miles on the slip. It was 4 miles over. When tried to bring to representative attention, he waited 6 minutes and just left. So i was charged 4 miles i did not use. Upon return the rep tried to say we returned the truck dirty. The truck was dirty already and engine wouldn't start a couple of times. Just overall disappointing.LORI P.

CLEAN and SANITIZE the interior of the truck cab!! It was very nasty. The driver's door had a big bullet hole in it, pretty typical for Memphis though, so I thought that was funny, but the door panels, arm rests, cup holder, floor mats, and steering wheel were sticky and gross, and were filthy. The faux grain in the arm rest was highlighted by months of neglect with human body oils and dirt. We had to take a soapy wash rag and cleaner once we got home to wash every thing down before we could ride in it. It also smelled. I had to clean all of the widow, mirror, and windshield glass inside and out before I could see clearly. I would never ask someone to pay for using something so nasty.Larry B.

These comments I'm about to seems is not about a specific location but the company as a whole. I reserved a truck on 09/21/20 and the day of me getting the truck I received a call 8 minutes before I'm getting ready to go get the truck and representative contacted me informing me that no trucks were available at any location and she stated that she didn't know how I was able to reserve a truck because there was none available. I called around and I found and this location had one for me. I don't appreciate your lying disrespectful representatives. The Lamar location everybody was great. Thank you to the staff on Lamar for making my day. Please update your systems to make sure when people do reservations that they don't have to go through what I went through. It makes Mr not want to do business with Uhaul ever again!!!Josie A.

Stop charging me twice because of the lazy employee that works at night at the Lamar Ave store Memphis,Tn., the guy with the glasses is the man, but the female with the attitude should be outside hooking up trailers, 6:45 pm I show up she wanna go back and forth for five minutes about I was supposed to be back at 6:30 then after I told her she's going to let 7:00 catch me, she then proceeds to tell me â€œyou can do it yoself on yo phone â€œ, I told her I tried last time you wouldn't open the door at 6:50 ,, she then made me walk back to my truck for the paperwork, that she didn't need seeing as though she had just pulled it up on her computer screen, luckily as I turned around I saw the gentleman I spoke of who said man I don't know why you even went in there in the first place, took him all of one minute to do it I got charged twice because she wouldn't let me and 3 other customers in because it was 6:47 telling us all through the door do it on ya phone!! This is unacceptable when your employees bad attitude costs me money and could very well cost your company a paying customer and would like someone from finance to contact me ASAPJamerson P.
I returned the rental truck the next day that Sunday and they called and claimed that they didn't have it. I put the keys in the drop box and the staff claimed they couldn't find it but I turned it in yet they found it and said that they were going to view the security cameras from that date. They have not returned my call and they're charging me over $550 !!! I'm highly upset because the truck had been returned.Steven F.

The general manager was the nicest, as well as, the young lady that helped me pick up the trailer. The GM helped me trouble shoot a lights issue. He was so patient and helpful and I am not completely sure where the issue was (my truck or the trailer), but we got it up and running and I was then comfortable taking the trailer over 600 miles.Jessica F.

Make sure you have the correct odometer readings so you won't over charge your customers. This location over charged me. The speedometer read 6830 once return it read 6880 the clerk said to me that I went 76 miles which is incorrect and the manger put on the paper that the speedometer read 6805 and I took pictures to prove everything and they still overcharged meAyanna F.

Not the location I reserved for pickup. Required Uber trip to pick up vehicle rather than walk down the street to the location closest to my home. Then I had to bring the vehicle back to this location rather than drop off again nearest my home resulting in another Uber trip.. Additionally, I had to go pick up the trailer in another state adding approximately 50 miles round trip to my per mile charges. Overall had about $60 worth of charges related to the pickup and drop off location due to misleading agreement online. But Corporate should be aware that confirming a requested location and then on the day of moving changing that location is poor business practice.Jason G.

The service was rush when I returned the truck and tried to explain to the lady how bad the truck was, I feel that she just rush me off I want be doing business with your company any more. The place has a lot of trash lying around and the lot is so full you can’t navigate the trucks into storage area to unload without assistance (moving stuff around to make way).
