I rented a track in Tempe Arizona and I had to drive to Texas because my horses weren't being fed according to a friend who picked me up in Justin Texas where I dropped off the U-Haul truck. I tried to call in all day yesterday and could not get an answer until 7 p.m. I figured it out on my own and put the key in the lock box in the contract in the lockbox I filled up the truck and washed it and parked it at the Justin Uhaul location. I tried to do the Uhaul dot-com share return my truck online but when I went on to my account it said I didn't even have anything rented!!! And now your U-Haul company is going to charge me double. This is the worst customer service ever. The person I had that was supposed to be feeding my horses while I was in Arizona was not it was an emergency and I had to get up here and take care of my horses I couldn't get anybody else to go out there. I couldn't get anybody to answer the freaking phone and like I said the online share thing didn't work because my account said I did not have anything rented. It also said that my phone number ends in 9717 and that's my old phone number I told the lady when I rented the truck in Tempe Uhaul my new number that ends in 6581 but it wasn't even change so how was I supposed to contact anyone!!! Uhaul sucks exclamation I will never use Uhaul again ever and I will tell everyone how you guys rip me offSHIRLEY M.

The personnel and their management at this location had bad reviews when I was investigating doing a rental. I thought it was probably sour grapes but no. I am a retired professional who had to deal with 300 plus customers every day and I can tell you this location gives Uhaul a bad name!!!! Go to another location...W D.

The front windshield was so dirty, it was terrible. The rest of the truck was very clean. The people working was very nice. I would suggest that maybe they could help adjust the side mirrors. I was by myself and there is no way I could adjust the mirrors. It was a very good experience.VALERIE K.

I had planned to use the mobile app to pick up my vehicle, but it was so unintuitive and unfriendly and required a lot more information that could have been collected when I made the reservation. I gave up trying to navigate it and went inside to finish the transaction. In my opinion, U-Haul's attempt to replace people with technology has failed miserably. Hire good people to give good personal service, and you will keep more customers.alfred G.

I had returned my Uhaul, parked it in the line behind the other returned Uhauls to be cleaned...and everything was fine until I remembered I had left my projector under the copilots seat (an hour later). I called back and the Hispanic girl was acting like a â€œknow it allâ€ and Made me feel crazy for thinking I had left my projector in there and it hadn't come up under their supervision. She told me there was nothing in the Uhaul and that her employees don't steal and I was wrong... i then asked for her super visor because I didn't care for her tone and she told me he'd be back in an hour..so I said I was headed there myself to find it and hung up. She proceeded to call me back still in her obnoxious tone to say â€œbefore you hung up on me you said you're headed here but the Uhauls already been transferred out so I don't know why you're coming hereâ€ .. told her I don't care I'm almost there and hung up again. I got there and she proceeded to argue and talk back to me in front of other customers. Such an obnoxious person in general. Then she tells the other coworker beside her (who was trying to be helpful but didn't know what she was doing) â€œI can find out where the Uhaul was transferred but I don't want to speak to her at all!!!!â€ I was left in the store all by myself while she and her coworkers went and sat down on the curb. I called the manager from inside (who was at another Uhaul location working at the time) and asked him where the Uhaul had been transferred and he gave me everything I needed. He Wasn't even there but he helped my so much more than the annoying hispanic/Native American girl there!! While I was waiting for him return to this location like she had told me.. which he never returned.. she was making small talk with her coworkers, cursing and being so unprofessional and talking about her Managers funny way of talking so slow and laughing about it. How annoying!! If I was her manager I'd fire her. She is the worst!! I don't mind taking this up with cooperate just so she'd get fired. Anyway, Ended up driving to the next place my Uhaul got transferred and got the projector. It was a where I said it would be.William L.

Regarding the Mcclintock storage: NEGATIVE STARS for management communication. I had a storage locker for my child who attends ASU. I was driving through Tempe to collect the stuff and return home. All I wanted to know was if my gate card had a numerical code in which I could use if the card did not work. That's all. A thirty second phone call. I called the McClintock phone number three times, each time on different days, at different hours as it said while on hold they were "busy". Really? That busy? They couldn't answer it and say we are slammed busy, we'll be right there to help you. Each time I was on hold for more than 15 minutes. NO ONE picked up or picks up the phone. After the 15 minutes of holding I was then transferred to a national call center who told me they left messages for the manager or employees at Mcclintock to call me back. NO ONE CALLED ME BACK. NOT AN EMAIL. NOT A TEXT. NOTHING. It's always funny how a business is happy to take your money but when it comes time for customer support everyone just happens to be busy. If I was late on my payment, managers/employees find the time for late fees and collection centers. My final time I called, I stayed I hold yet again for yes, you guess it 15 minutes. And yes, I was transferred one more time. This time though it was to Neferti Hernandez. She took my information and even emailed and texted the McClintock manager to contact me through email, phone or text. Once again. NO ONE did. They couldn't give me 30 seconds of their time. Now If I were to give Neferti Hernandez a rating: 50 STARS. Yes fifty. I hope this email or response finds a way to her manager as she deserves praise. Uhaul is beyond lucky to have a polite, considerate, friendly, responsible person who was competent. I could write 100 more positive adjectives about her. The manager at McClintock should call Neferti Hernandez and learn how 2 minutes of being helpful goes a long way. Manager at McClintock Uhaul, please remember, you are not the only storage facility in Tempe. In business, you're only as good as your last job. You make hard working people like Neferti look bad. This facility needs major work as far as customer service is concerned. Every time I called the facility, no one answered the phone and I would be automatically connected to the corporate office. Living out of state temporarily and being unable to connect with the office staff where my storage unit was, made for a very uneasy feeling and had me constantly worried, until just yesterday when I was able to clean and close out my unit. Tony, the previous manager, was the best employee this location had. I would never recommend this location in general, whether it be for a moving truck, storage facilities or even moving supplies, to anyone I know, as I would hate anyone I know to feel the way I had. Everything with you guys has been great till we got their Friday to empty the unit. Two guys working on Friday 8/14 around noon were beyond rude , not helpful, and very unprofessional. My son, Sean went to the counter politely told the two guys that he left his key at home (in California) could they help him get into his unit. One guy looked at the other guy rude and sarcastic and said "what can we do? " They pretty much said we can't help you at ALL period. My son asked can a locksmith help? Can you recommend a locksmith if so? They said" No " and "No"... Just rude and unprofessional. Then, when I stepped up they said it's a liability. That is fine to me, but I'm sure they've been in this situation before and could of had a different approach and been more helpful..
