The manager(a african american male) was extremely rude and extremely dismissive when my problem was explained(we had misplaced the keys to the truck and was trying to see if they had back up keys) the front counter person was doing all she could to assist but the manager says not my problem and offered no help. I feel like just because you are in the Frayser community does not mean you get to treat the people any type of way. U left more gas in the truck than when I received it. This was a horrible experience. I was overcharged the daily rate. I was told it would only be 19.95 (?) and was charged 39.95. I hope to never have to use Uhaul again and definitely would not recommend it to anyone.SHANTAL J.

The gentleman that assisted me at the counter was very helpful. I had several questions about how to best make this move with U-Haul Truck such as should I do this one way or return the truck to the same location. He searched the information and made a determination. He was pleasant and said thank you for coming in to the location. Walls were dingy and had water damage, the floors were about rotted out, and it has a really bed odor so now my things have a stench. The first unit we rented the guy needed my husband to cut the lock for him only to find it full of trash and broken glass so had to take a different unit. The only problem was that the first unit had a headlight out. The employee quickly substituted the unit with a better one. That was good. No complaints there. The only real complaint was that I had specified the nearest location to me in Lakeland and instead had to drive all the way to northwest Memphis, a difference of 20 miles. Seems to me that you would make sure the location agreed upon would have that unit present. This isn't a complaint about the sites but about the system.ROBERT H.

This is a very run down location. The unit we rented was locked and the customer service rep only had a hammer and screwdriver to remove the lock so we used our own power tool to cut it for him. When opening the unit someone had left trash and broken glass all inside of it so I requested a different unit. The next unit was ok but the floors are rotting out and the walls show water damage. I'm pretty sure there are roaches too. We are using the unit to store bicycles and a few large containers we travel with but definitely cant wait to get our things out of there!! For some reason even though we had selected all we needed and uploaded the car edit card information the clerk was unable to locate it and when she added in charges it was $200 approx more than what our est was this did not please me at all. Please do check the height of the receiver in relation to the street level. It is an important safety check as my hitch ball assembly touched the street a couple of times and I had to reverse the installation.AMIT R.

The truck rental at watkins was great. We had a storage unit at the Millington location off Navy Rd and Hwy 51. Someone cut our personal Uhaul lock off our unit and placed a red lock on it. We did not owe money on our storage and I know its against policy to cut customers locks off their storage.Richard O.

The van reeked if marijuana......not like it was smoked.....stronger. I was charged for 95 miles and I drove 35. I was charged gas and gas fees that I did not owe. They over charged me $110-120. No one answers when I call the 1-800 and when I ask them to return my call, they hang up. The man in the physical store will not help. I am a step away from calling the police. It is almost impossible to get this location to answer the local phone number. It goes to the national number where you listen to the same loop advertising for 10-15 min. No way to contact them. The chat is not attended either. You get a stock reply but you'll be waiting awhileMichael M.
