Rep who made my reservations stole my cash and when I went back the next day to get my money (because I did not use all the mileage I paid for) there was no proof I paid for truck or that I rented a truck and had returned it. Thank God, I took a picture of the inside of the truck as proof. Manager on duty was very sweet and resolved the issue to my expectations. However, I will not go back or recommend. I was charged $25 for an unknown service. It showed up on the email receipt after I dropped off the truck. The attendant said he was busy and puked email me a receipt in 15 minutes. I thought the male attendant was rude. The vehicle chains were not hooked up when I arrived. The attendant asked in a condescending way, who hooked this up. I said I did. Then he said, you didn't think to use the chains? I told him that nobody showed me what to do with them . Then the female attendant said, I I guess they're just there fir looks. James was excellent. I need to put in a review for the Jamal Car Company location and there is nowhere for me to do so. This was the worst experience I have ever had with Uhaul and Jamal was rude, obnoxious and of no help what so ever. He left me stranded and had no intention of helping me in anyway period. He should not be allowed to represent your company ever again. He cost me time, money and stress by his lack of customer service and helping me solve my problem of him not having my truck available. Please provide me a way to rate this part of the service and then have someone provide me some sort of refund on my fees due to his total lack of professionalism and customer service. I cannot tell you how horrible this guy was and luckily I had a very nice taxi cab driver who would not leave me until a solution was found for my situation. Thank you, James ModieJames M.

The young man that processed my reservation at the counter was great and provided a lot of valuable information I needed for my move. When the containers arrived they were not covered with the vinyl coverings that were suppose to protect my items. Bare wooden containers arrived to my shock that my items were exposed to possible water damage in transit. Rain was expected in the area. Fortunately it didn't rain.paul B.

This experience at U-Haul was by far the best I've ever experienced anywhere, anytime. We were there when they opened the door at 7am. We got right in, were taken care of promptly and courteously by a gentleman who was very knowledgeable. Make it clear that reserving a pick up truck does not include a trailer hitch! Its a shame such a beautiful truck has to smell like the bottom of an ash tray, but I suspect the majority of your customers smoke, so its unlikely that any change can be made there.LAWRENCE H.

I can't speak for everyone, but my experience at this location was excellent even though they were slammed. My 15Ft. Truck got me to my location 800+ miles without a hiccup. The "skip the line" directions with the QR code did nothing. It still took 25 minutes at register. I uploaded my DL, still had to hand it over to the cashier. I did check-in on the computer, still had to do it all over again. And I have a business account! AND...there was no hand sanitizer anywhere and none of the staff were wiping down anything - door handles, POS buttons, countertops - nothing. Very alarming that there was not even an attempt to appear like they were trying to keep the customers safe.Teri K.

My truck was dirty and did not smell pleasant when I go it. It also had only a quarter tank of gas. Later on towards the end of the move, I discovered the light in the back did not work making it impossible to continue unloading for the evening. I then had to add an extra day because of it. When I called uhaul the next day, the agent I spoke to was quite unpleasant and made me feel like I was bothering her and it was a big deal that I was keeping the truck an extra day. She said that I wasn't able to continue renting because the truck was needed for other people. I told her that when I originally booked the rental it was for two full days but the agent at the store persuaded me to only do one. She allowed the extra day but begrudgingly. As far as the rental location, I would call it nothing short of a shitshow. It's understaffed and the layout is very confusing. Long wait times and frustrated employees. I watched a poor child trip and fall over a trailer hitch because there's equipment all over the place. Sometimes I wish uhaul wasn't the only rental company out there.KYLE M.
Make sure that the truck battery is charged. When we stopped to put gas in the truck we were unable to get the truck restarted. We were paying movers by the hour. it took over 45 minutes to get the truck restarted. When we called UHAUL for assistance we sat on hold for over 20 minutes. My husband was able to get the truck restarted by working on the battery cables which were loose. UHAUL did not offer any compensation for the movers that were just sitting and getting paid.NANCY D.
