Truck had a blown out exhaust system that was loud and brought fumes into the cab of the truck. Front end (Steering) on the truck was very loose and it was difficult to keep the vehicle between the lines. IF this were a long haul rental I would have been very pissed, but since it was local move I delbt with it. The truck was muddy on the outside by both rear wheels when I picked it up, so that is how it was returned. The staff was good to work with at this locations.COREYJ M.

Strange how the gas tank only had a 1/4 tank. Adding gas cause the check engine light to come on and luckily I was passing the location and had them check the engine. The tech cleared the code and we were on our way. I wished the tank was at 1/2 or more. That would have allowed me to complete my move and then fill the tank up. There was a bit of confusion as to the length of the rental contract. When I picked up the van, I told the agent I would need it for 24hrs. I picked up the van at 5pm it wasn't due until 5pm the following day. I received a call at 7am telling me my rental was overdue. I explained that I had rented it for 24hrs. The agents solution was to "extend" the contract that should have been written for 24hrs originally. Later that same day, I learned the exact same thing happened to a friend of mine. After speaking to the agent who called to tell me the rental was overdue, I called back to confirm that everything was ok. I waited 30+ minutes on hold.VALERIEG B.

It would be nice to have the gas tank at the correct amount when the customer receives the uhaul truck. I barely used the truck and there was an added fee when I returned the truck just under what the gas tank should've been. I received the truck with a 1/2 tank of gas. So it isn't fair that I have to fill up the truck over 3/4 if that's not what it was originally. I rather not spend more than necessary since I didn't use over a quarter tank of gas while having the truck.Victoria L.
Our family has started using U-Haul semi-regularly for our jobs. And we are using one location up until early we got switched over to the Ridgeway location. Since going there once I always go back. I almost always deal with Steve who is a wonderful help and super nice even had my truck warming up for me one morning when I got there early. Five stars across-the-board the Ridgeway U-Haul location is my favorite and I will continue to use it.JESSICA S.
The only down side to the location is the parking lot is kind of small. The wiper blades didn't work real well. Fortunately, I didn't run into any weather that I needed to use them, so it wasn't a big deal. Truck was clean and he had it warming up for me, and had me in and out quick for pick up. Reps were very rude and caught attitude over simple questions or the fact that we parked the truck by mistake in the wrong spot . And would not proceed to check us out until we got back in and moved it . Even though he had another employee sitting around that could've done for the customer . The only thing that stunk was the lack of plowing and salting. The first van could not get up the hill without slipping so we switched to another. The other down fall was that our time was not reset. I was able to get the van back in time. Thankfully Also, the gentleman on shift was kind and helpful. I know we had a weather event today, it's the little things that matter. I have used uhaul on many occassions. I've never had any issues or inconveniences. However, one of the employees at the Ridgeway location in Greece, NY was terrible. He seemed in the biggest hurry and made me, my wife, and my brother in law feel very incovenienced. I don't what was going on.tessa S.

The past two years have been a very smooth experience. From the initial rental of one unit, and a last minute rental of a second unit when we moved, then downsizing as we got rid of stuff, everyone has been very accommodating and pleasant to work with. We both went outside to look for someone - the other customer yelled into the lot to find a employee. The customer service was horrible! They really inconvenienced me with my storage unit. Hey hey guy never gave me my storage card and I had to leave my belongings in the truck all night. I was on hold for 2 hours with uhaul trying to fix my resvervations. Then I went to get storage the next day and they were changing my unit all over to different ones. Then they told me to go to one then that was the wrong one and I had to drive the truck all the way back to the same one from the first time .
