Rented a 25 foot truck which was new and cruze control didn't work. The worst!!!!! was a car transport I rented had a broken shackle I noticed it the morning we were going to load the car, we would definitely lost our car if I had not seen it. I called Jason the manager in Colorado Springs twice with no response back . The trailer was not checked out before renting it very serious issues I will contact corporate. Other than that I would still recommend Uhaul but just double check everything.Thomas E.

I had no problems with this location. I originally was told that the U-haul would be available 5 mins from my home and ended up driving 50 mins one way to get it, adding miles and time to my travel schedule. That was the only downside about the experience.Randi D.

Drey and entire team went above and beyond to help me! My house closing was unexpectedly delayed for a day and a half and as a result I had to rush to figure out logistics as I had only rented the truck for 24 hours. I am a service disabled veteran and had already hired help for loading, but I didn't want to have to unload the truck to return it, only to get a new truck and reload it a day later. Drey listened to my situation and found a way to extend the truck for me, despite their office being so busy! When I turned the truck in after the move, Drey was the one who checked out the truck and told me that he hoped my move went okay. I thanked him profusely and tried to offer a cash tip. He refused and said he was happy to help me, and that he hopes I enjoy my new home. Drey deserves a big thank you and hopefully a nice bonus from Uhaul - he truly takes care of people!Michael E.

At the last second the truck we booked was switched. When we returned the truck they notified us we were 1/8 tank low. I looked at the gas Guage before we left the lot. We drove only 77 miles and refilled the tank to the level we received the truck. We got into a heated argument as they were going to charge us $30 plus $4.99 per gallon. We finally got this resolved in our favor but I recommend taking a picture of the milage and gas Guage at the beginning of the rental and upon returning the truck. I think something happened when they switched trucks on us at the last moment.ROBERT H.

The cab smelled strongly of tobacco and marijuana smoke, as a non-smoker it was difficult to stomach. The process of reserving the truck online was cumbersome and complicated to such an extent that I won't be doing it again. Having rented trucks as recently as a year ago without having this degree of harassment, it's my recommendation to everyone reading this that they consider other options.David H.

After providing my drivers' license number, then the rep took pictures of my License. After all that, then she needed to take a picture of me without my mask. If that wasn't bad enough, she needed an alternate phone number, no problem there, but then at 7:20 am, she had to call my wife and take her up. Trust me, if something were to happen to me, UHaul wouldn't be on anyone's call list. The tech could not provide any rationale on those ridiculous requirements. Her only response was that â€œIt was a new requirement.â€ The local staff was friendly and helpful, but I've already devided that UHaul will never get another penny from me.Kenneth M.

Couldn't do on line pock up. App not working on my phone. Keys and truck were not there. Could not.pick up truck in Moniment. Had to go 40 mins out of my was to get truck. Cost extra in milage. Guys at counter were basically calling me an idiot because I could kot get the app to work. Check in guy when finished with rental was great. The problem with U-Haul are the reservation people. This was a miserable messed up process. They don't call you back when they say they're going to. You have a reservation, but they're chasing trucks around not knowing where they are or where they are going to be. They say you have a truck and then they say you don't and then they say you might. It's so unprofessional and ridiculous. Instead of me telling Uhaul when I'm going to move, Uhaul is telling me when I'm going to move!!!!!!!!! I had to reschedule my movers. I found this U-Haul Moving & Storage facility at Tiffany Square here in Colorado Springs not only clean and easily accessible (several dedicated loading/unloading parking spaces at the entrance) but GM Jason Carr to be very friendly & helpful -- as was Don, one of the other U-Haul employees who helped me on move-in day. Further, the rental rates are surprisingly reasonable, especially considering this is a climate-controlled facility in fairly expensive Colorado Springs.
