I have three comments... #1 you should let Android users know that you they need to go into/log into your site using Google Chrome for a browser. It was a nightmare trying to make use of the Truck Share 24/7. I stumbled onto that after fussing for at least 90 minutes. #2 Perhaps, no definitely, you need more staff on the "help line" I was on hold there for over an hour. #3 Given those two previous remarks I doubt you'd have gotten you a 5 star rating from many if any. After I made my "Chrome connection" and was able to talk to somebody... everything else was seamless and your people were/are FANTASTIC! Everybody was knowledgeable, (were aware of my order and my challenges without my griping about them) polite, sooo helpful... they made everything so easy! They get a 7 star+++ given the stellar service that I received, I would absolutely recommend UHaul and in particular the Portland Maine store. That's what a really great job you have done; your people were so good at what they do and with me, I could not hold the frustration of that first night against you! Great great job!!David H.

The 10' truck we got had a low tire pressure warning when we picked it up. The Service Dept tried to fill tire but determined it was a slow leak and, therefore, issued us a different 10' truck so we would have no issues on our trip. THANK YOU FOR THE GREAT SERVICE!JOSEPH D.

Your app wasn't making it clear that there was no vehicles that matched my criteria for that location and time. It tried to have me go to Saco, but then had a statement it wanted to have me check, which stated that I know there's no vehicle at Marginal way. App info wasn't very intuitive. Or turned out there was a vehicle at the location I wanted (guessing that you keep 1 or 2 back for emergencies and walk-ins like myself). The guy assisting me was great! They put the wrong size ball hitch on my vehicleâ€” almost drove across the country with the hitch incorrectly low on my vehicle. Thankfully we noticed this before we left for the trip. However when they fixed the problemâ€” they did not tie the chains correctly so they dragged on the highway. Very uncomfortable and anxiety provoking experience.Leah P.

My only frustration was not being able to get being able to get in touch with Uhaul after I picked up the trailer. I wanted to see if I could extend my rental by a day. My online account reservation directed me to call. I tried several times, but was on hold for at least 20 minutes every time. Not cool.LEITHAN C.
I found nothing at the time they could do to make it better they were courteous polite did the job on the hottest day it was miserable I kept offering them drinks and stuff and they eventually took one Logan and JJ were absolutely amazing and for them to show up on a day like this I really needed them and it meant a lot that they showed up for their job because I so needed the help because I'm very broken from a car accident. Check tire pressures before renting. The vehicle had a nail in the left rear tire and ultimately I had to use my bicycle pump to keep going. The right rear tire was over pressure at 77 psi. At times the left rear was as low as 21. All the tires showed wear in the middle of the tires due to a history of running with too much air. Uhaul.com/help by phone was unresponsive, useless.MARK H.

The method to extend a rental is horrible.i tried several times at uhaul.com to extend my rental. The website said I couldn't extend beyond the initial return date. I had to use a chat on line to extend the rental twice. Ridiculous. Also, the truck had a flat tire as I discovered the next morning. It cost e a whole day of not being able to move.EUGENE S.

Took the guy 13 minutes to find a key for the vehicle. Also the app jad me walking in circles going to find the truck then go back to the store its stupid. My only issue was the gas tank topped off at 3/4 tank, not 7/8 as was listed on the rental. I didn't know this until I got the truck to the house so that's on me. Still, on these gages there is a big difference between 3/4 & 7/8 and this mistake should not have been made.Steven O.

You know what time I'm picking up the truck since I have a reservation and all of my information was given online. Have someone waiting for me with the key or at least have more than one person working the counters. Get faster computers. The guy in front of me took 15 minutes to check out. 15 minutes that cut into my truck time. Why do I need to input my credit card info online if you are going to make me pay when I'm there. We were told a storage unit was included with our truck rental. When we arrived no unit was reserved. We got that straightened out and then told we had to buy a round lock. We did. Then in the storage unit was a new round lock. So we moved our stuff in and went to get a refund on the purchased lock. We were told that the lock was necessary and no refund would be given. If we had gone to the storage unit first we would have had a free lock. After going round and round we asked for the manager who refunded our lock purchase. The practice of separate bills for each unit when I had two units led to double very high late fees. I went online and put the payment on auto, then received a few days later a letter telling me that if I put the payment on auto The late fees would be refunded. They were not refunded and I got another late fee the next month for one unit which is when I found out that each unit was charged separately. RYAN IS A HOME RUN GUY. Unfortunately you have an IDIOT AT YOUR BRUNSWICK OFFICE who wanted to charge a drop-off fee twice the rental fee for a defective trailer rental where the hitch detached while on I295. Only because of my experience driving trucks was I able to prevent what could easily have become a catastrophic accident. And the fellow who rented and hooked up the trailer in S. Portland needs serious training in properly securing the chains. You need guys like RYAN on the job and the schmuck in Brunswick needs to find a job washing dishes. I used the uhall drive up storage units in downtown Portland Maine for 3 months. The units were not clean when I took possesion and by design are not well sealed from environmental polution, risk of contamination from adjacent units. You need more staff, more parking, more and easier access to interior storage with more bays and more carts, MORE DIRECT ACCESS TO TRAINED AND INFORMED PHONE/COUNTER STAFF. Hire cheap get cheap. Usually young. IMPORTANT: I talked to 2 employees on the call-center line and neither had accurate or satisfactory information both of which was vital and time-sensitive. Third individual had the right info and assurances. I fell on ice on street where I was forced to park because the U-Haul lot was full of trucks and vans on a slow Sunday morning. You charge for EVERYTHING connected to your business. The least you can do is to provide a commensurate service. Doing otherwise labels you as arrogant because you are the "only game in town".
