This wasn't the original return location. Your online process of location drop-off only gave a few locations, and the one I originally chose, 1185 S Cobb Dr, isn't a u-haul site. While I was using the self-guided drop off instructions on Labor Day, the owner of this storage place came out and informed me I couldn't leave the trailer there. Why did this happen??? I have had some bad experiences with U-haul historically. I say that to say if I am giving a good review, it means something. I have had three straight outstanding experiences with the South Cobb location. The associates/management were courteous and supportive. The transaction process has taken an average of 5 minutes to complete. The drop off is painless. The trucks rented were good in quality and clean. Thank you for the great service and this will be my only stop when I need moving services.Darren S.

The 2416 S Cobb location was fine. This review pertains to the 5295 S Cobb location, who turned me away when I tried to return trailer because they were full, yet only half the trailer parking spots were taken. People did not come out of office, I had to go in. Lady was rude. So I had to deliver your trailer about 10 miles roundtrip out of my way which took about 45 mins. Ridiculous experience.Jeffery C.

My location was changed and then I got a truck instead of a van, which I got a â€œguaranteeâ€ that my van was at the first location. I was nervous driving the truck and the mirrors were impossible to move and had horrible blind spot while driving. I would have preferred a van. Also the furniture dollies which I requested were out. Location was only found minutes before needing to pick up trailer. I was informed at my actual pickup location at my scheduled time (arranged three days prior) that they were unable to find an auto transport for me and that I need to wait for a phone call. I called U-Haul and they found me an auto transport in Smyrna. I arrived and the Smyrna facility was fine. The trailer however was an old beat up steel trailer, not the aluminum one I was hoping for. The trailer coupler was pretty beat up and both I and the employee working struggled to get it to latch. Proper ball, perfectly aligned, raised and lowered trailer etc, rocking the car forward and back, the latch was likely damaged and required the employee and I to manually lift and slam the trailer down multiple times, This was an issue again for me later when I was required to re hitch the trailer again (I'm not an amateur at hooking up trailers). The facility itself was fine, but I would have liked U-Haul to have found me the trailer I reserved and communicated where it would be, without me having to drive around calling and searching myself.Casey T.

While the overall experience was great, unfortunately, I was rented a unit that was already rented and sold a lock that was not the right one. It was a doozy when I arrived and could not put my stuff in the assigned unit. However, when I told the store mgr of the issues the next day, he took the time and care to make everything okay. It would be more convenient is the access hours were extended after 10pm. I had two units. I closed out one online with no issue. The second one was closed without my consent. I had emptied the unit and it still had my personal lock on it. It was closed after I had already paid for the month. I will visit the location to get an explanation. We had a concession trailer stored there for 4 years. We had no issues whatsoever with this company. David the store manager was super helpful when it came time to finally remove our trailer from their facility. We had to get it towed to our house from their facility and it was quite the job because it sat there for so long. He took his time helping the tow truck driver to come up with ways to get the trailer to roll, but the tires were flat. He tried to fill them and they wouldn't inflate, it wasn't on the rim properly, so he took the tires off filled them with air, and then placed them back properly so that the tow truck driver could tow it, thank you so much for that. I had made a reservation for a storage unit and called and confirmed the day before and the day of. They said they had it but when arriving they lost my reservation. They gave me a unit but it had a lock on it and they didn't have a key my movers were on hourly pay. So that cause their time to increase. More money out of my pocket.
