I have already submitted a complaint to U-Haul corporate about the treatment we received by the manager at this location. The customer service was severely lacking and left me feeling like I was being set up for fraudulent vehicle "damages". I will never rent from U-haul again and I recommend any consumer reading this review be very careful.

There were no pads or extras in the truck. Also there is an extra unauthorized charge on my credit card which no one has had the decency to respond to me regarding.

Overall my rental went well. However, when I first arrived to pick up my rental I followed the instructions on the app but had a little difficulty finding the truck due to it being parked in the far corner of the lot with another rental truck parked in front of it. When I went in and mentioned that there was another truck blocking mine to the person at the counter (he appeared to be the morning manager) he replied tersely "I know, we work here". Seems to me that this guy needs to learn about customer service. His answer was a little pissy and did not give me a good start to my rental. Upon returning the truck though the guy that checked me in (an African American kid I believe) was was very nice and upbeat. I enjoyed my brief but very pleasant interaction with him.

Get your customer service reps to be honest with your clients. I was told it would take $30 to bring the tank up to 1/4 by your people (based on current fuel prices in the area) when in actuality it would have only taken $20. So in effect, your staff member stole $10 from me. I loathe petty thieves, which is what your staff member makes you look like.

Disappointed that the mobile check in service was not working well/slowly, but the team at the Sandy Blvd. location in Portland OR did a great job of support my reservation.

We paid for our rental with a check. While we were driving, we noticed an additional $100 was taken out of our checking account. When we got to San Antonio, we inquired and discovered this was a deposit. How did they take an additional $100 out our account when we handed them a $1,600 check? Not pleased they helped themselves to our account.

I received a call from Layton Hanning shortly after returning the truck. His voicemail said the $56 credit could not be applied to my card and that I would need to come in or UHaul could issue me a check. Thinking the check option would take a long time, I made a special trip back to get my credit processed. Upon my arrival, I was informed the credit had been processed after all. Customer Service Opportunity : It would have been great if someone would have called me to let me know BEFORE I made a second trip.

I waited over 45 minutes and about 4/6 people checked out and was gone before i was. 2 guys tried to get the order into the computer and it wouldn't work.

worst experience I've ever had with any uhaul. manager was beyond rude from the moment that we arrived. Tried to force us to use an unsafe ladder to access our unit & wouldn't help us change location.

College dorm overflow Rather hard intitially to get info and deal with Staff, much stuff. Space was physically awkward to access as place up hight off floor. Expensive for Sq Ft.
