truck that was reserved was not available, smaller truck offered with no attempt to find correct truck, manager was indifferent and appeared to be aware that the reservation couldn't be filled yet took no action to alert me. I had driven 3 hours to pick up the truck that day, ended up with a smaller truck and now need to make two trips, total extra cost of over $500, and uhaul cust serv gave me fifty dollars in credit. Worst customer experience I've had, particularly upset that with all your technology this kind of thing happens.steven S.

Our u-haul experience was horrible. Only thing that was fine was the desk guy at the Sharon Rd location. To start, my reservation was set for a different location. 2 of the u-haul dealers were very incompetent and rude. One guy told me that he couldn't help me because he was helping a customer. As if I wasn't a customer myself and told me that I needed to Google the info I was looking for. Which was just the phone number to the actual place that had the truck. It took 6 plus phone calls to find where my actual rental was. Employees were not knowledgeable abt processes of company. If I had not asked the right questions and called when I did, I would have gathered all 6 of my family members for nothing for our move. Had 2 drive from Charlotte to Fayetteville at 25 to 35 mph. Truck cut off at every bump in road. Very frustrating experience.BRANDI T.

When I returned the van to the location I filled gas to proper level and prior to closing. The attendant verbally told me to leave the vehicle and he will take care of getting it checked in. The following day I had a incremental charge on my card for after hours return along with insufficient fuel level. I do not know if the attendant drove the vehicle afterwards and checked it in late with low level fuel, but I am very very dissatisfied with the service.XAI T.

Their system needs to be updated. It let me rent a unit that was already occupied which resulted to an hour wasted of finding another unit for me. The Manager was very rude, I did not feel welcomed at 8 in the morning. She talked with a nasty attitude as if she did not want to be there. Many customers complained about her.amari W.

When returning the trailer, the employee disconnected it from the hitch without warning and without a block a place behind the wheel. My friend was behind the trailer folding the pads and retrieving the dolly and the trailer slid back and pinned him against the curb.HANNAH C.

You charge way too much for holding onto the truck for an additional 20 minutes after the due time. Change something about it. But don't charge an extra day + extra charges just because it was a couple of minutes late!!Alejandra S.

I reserved a 20 foot Uhaul truck over a week in advance of my move and received confirmation that a truck would be available. Upon returning the truck I discovered that I had not been given a 20' Uhaul truck but rather a 17' truck. My move would have been so much easier had they given me the right size truck. Also, when I picked up the truck the initial receipt noted the truck fuel tank was completely full. When I started the truck and started down the road I noticed the tank was only 3/4 full.Kraig B.

1. We had to change pick up location. 2. I had to wait an hour at pick up because the system wasn't working. It took her an hour to decide to restart her system, after which it worked perfectly. The entire time she did not call tech support to get assistance. 3. The truck had 30 miles of gas in it at pick up. 4. When we pulled the ramp out there was shattered glass all over it that never got cleaned up. 5. We had to change the drop off location. 6. We called the customer service line to dispute all of this. The lady who took the call told us we needed to call the customer service line after drop off to note the issues instead of just noting the issues. We asked to speak to a supervisor, spend an hour and twenty minutes on hold and they hung up. So, yeah. 0/10 do not recommend. Next time we will rent with Penske or something.KATIE H.

There was a young gentlemen there that saw that I was in a boot struggling to get things in and out of the U-haul and without even asking for help, he told me to get down that he would gladly assistant me in anyway he could. It would be nice if you would have an option on returning the truck 4 people 60 + that may be height restricted and hard to open enclose the back of the truck for the photos required when we turning it on your required online process.
