The trucj I drove had a bad tire problem that didn't appear untill I was on the highway. At 55 mph it has a bad vibration caused by one if the front tire that was so bad I had to slow down to keep fro loosing control. When I picked it up I notices there was a low tire pressure warning on the dash. I pointed it out to the agent and was told there was a bad pressure senson on the truck but it was okay. There us a bad tire on this truck that needs to be FIXED ASAPDONALD H.

Provide better locks for the lock boxes. I was stuck outside for 40 min unable to get the lock open at 6am. It was dark and cold and generally dangerous. I arrived on time and had to repeatedly call the customer service line for assistance. Luckily an employee arrived 20 min before opening and also struggled, but got the lock open for me so I could be on my way.Erinn S.

I tried to rent a truck in Reidsville, NC but 1 wasn't available so I rented in Madison, NC just a few miles away. As a result, this put me 30 miles over my allotted mileage. I literally drove to Reidsville and loaded up my belongings and dropped off everything in Charlotte and drove the truck to the dropoff location. Between rental and gas, I was charged $235 and had another $14 in overage fees. I will never use U-Haul again. This was a ripoff in my opinion.Joseph M.

You could actually provide the equipment that was rented. I got the truck but I didn't get my hand truck and I didn't get all of the moving blankets I ordered. I ordered the hand truck with the moving truck weeks before moving day and didn't find out until moving day that I wasn't getting the hand truck. U-Haul has to understand that the hand truck can be as critical to a move as the rental truck and it should all be a unit you guys track trucks and know where they are all the time you need to do it for all of the equipment it's very frustrating and very stressful and people are moving and moving are stressful and the unhelpful customer service representative who was checking me out all he had to say was well we're not Walmart we don't have inventory coming in here all the time whatever the hell that meansBRADLEY M.

Saundra is just a cruel & evil bitch! She refused to load my car onto auto transport, but watched me try to strap down my own car, in the pouring FUCKING RAIN for 2 hours, while she sat there smoking something that smelled like pot. When I got to my destination, 900 miles away, NONE OF THE STRAP DOWNS WERE STILL ATTACHED. SHE ATTACHED MY CAR TO THE AUTO TRANSPORT!!! I have contacted an attorney & I am suing UHAUL for criminal negligence!! I am lucky I didn't die from the negligence of your company. My cousin is an attorney & we will be in contact with UHAUL in the next week. I hope Saundra dies in hell for her callous negligence.JENNIFER T.
There are no words to express how incredibly poorly I was treated. The manager of the store I rented from smoked a cigarette while she watched me try to attach my own vehicle to an auto transport, in pouring rain for 2 FUCKING HOURS!! When I got to my destination, 2 days later, the guy on the other end told me the only thing that held my car down was my own FUCKING EMERGENCY BRAKE! I will sue the hell out of UHAUL for this!! The representative at the pick up counter was very rude and is obviously a miserably unhappy person. She didnt make eye contact when I spoke to her. There was a line of customers and she stayed on the phone talking to a customer about charging them 50 dollars for not leaving the key in the drop box. The location had helpful signs for 'equipment return'. I followed them only to find out it was only for truck returns. I had a trailer. I was left with my vehicle and trailer at a 60 degree turn angle going down hill. I had to back out and move to the trailer return area that was also exceptionally tight. My trailer backing skills are probably above average but it was a serious challenge to get out of there without damage to my truck or your trailer.BRIAN H.

truck that was reserved was not available, smaller truck offered with no attempt to find correct truck, manager was indifferent and appeared to be aware that the reservation couldn't be filled yet took no action to alert me. I had driven 3 hours to pick up the truck that day, ended up with a smaller truck and now need to make two trips, total extra cost of over $500, and uhaul cust serv gave me fifty dollars in credit. Worst customer experience I've had, particularly upset that with all your technology this kind of thing happens.steven S.

Our u-haul experience was horrible. Only thing that was fine was the desk guy at the Sharon Rd location. To start, my reservation was set for a different location. 2 of the u-haul dealers were very incompetent and rude. One guy told me that he couldn't help me because he was helping a customer. As if I wasn't a customer myself and told me that I needed to Google the info I was looking for. Which was just the phone number to the actual place that had the truck. It took 6 plus phone calls to find where my actual rental was. Employees were not knowledgeable abt processes of company. If I had not asked the right questions and called when I did, I would have gathered all 6 of my family members for nothing for our move. Had 2 drive from Charlotte to Fayetteville at 25 to 35 mph. When I returned the van to the location I filled gas to proper level and prior to closing. The attendant verbally told me to leave the vehicle and he will take care of getting it checked in. The following day I had a incremental charge on my card for after hours return along with insufficient fuel level. I do not know if the attendant drove the vehicle afterwards and checked it in late with low level fuel, but I am very very dissatisfied with the service.XAI T.

Their system needs to be updated. It let me rent a unit that was already occupied which resulted to an hour wasted of finding another unit for me. The Manager was very rude, I did not feel welcomed at 8 in the morning. She talked with a nasty attitude as if she did not want to be there. Many customers complained about her.amari W.

When returning the trailer, the employee disconnected it from the hitch without warning and without a block a place behind the wheel. My friend was behind the trailer folding the pads and retrieving the dolly and the trailer slid back and pinned him against the curb.HANNAH C.

I reserved a 20 foot Uhaul truck over a week in advance of my move and received confirmation that a truck would be available. Upon returning the truck I discovered that I had not been given a 20' Uhaul truck but rather a 17' truck. My move would have been so much easier had they given me the right size truck. Also, when I picked up the truck the initial receipt noted the truck fuel tank was completely full. When I started the truck and started down the road I noticed the tank was only 3/4 full.Kraig B.
