My initial pick up location was on Old Statesville Rd. My reservation was canceled due to truck not being available. I booked a week in advance and selected an 8:30am reservation, the location does not open until 9am. Myself and several other customers were upset due to this system error. The Uhaul Rep was busy inputting trucks in the system while 4 customers were waiting outside. I also had to wait at the Boxmeer location due to several customers being in line. This is the 2nd time my truck was not available and I was redirected the day of my reservation within an hour or less of my reservation. There should be a 24 hour cutoff period.

Long wait times whenever I use this location. I check in online and always have a 30 minute wait each time. This is the closest location with cargo trailers, I will find a different location.

I have never been treated so bad in my life as a customer until now from Cindy Madison in the Statesville store on Boxmeer dr charlotte nc . The regional manager name Buck was so bad saod that he was calling the police if o called with a question as to why he kept cancelling my reservations. These folks wete aweful and they repesent a brand that we all use UHAUL!! This should not be swot under the rug becayse people should not be treated this way...I want to soeak with corporate!!!

Used this place before and couldn't find drop-off box for keys last time. Went during the day this time to get help. Lady at counter just told me to leave the keys in the truck. Asked about night-service and told me that the drop-off box was just outside - and there wasn't one. Huge U-Haul location and they clearly maintain every rental that comes through. But wish they had more clear direction for after-hours. Seen too many confused customers when I was there last time after hours.

The store entered the wrong return time and no one could correct it. They transferred me to Customer Service and they can't do it either. They definitely need to get that right. Also the app to return the trailer wasn't working properly. I couldn't upload the photos. Fortunately, I caught the ladies leaving for the day. Otherwise, what proof would I have had that I was there an hour before my return time. All of this will make me do things differently going forward.

After I dropped off the uhaul, I couldn't get out of the parking lot because all of the other uhauls had blocked the driveway. It took me almost close to an hour to get out by carefully squeezing through two trucks. It's absurd.

DO NOT HIRE TD SPENCERKINGS TO HELP MOVE! the movers literally helped me move my things for 3 hours and 2 mins and was charged for an extra hour. Not to mention one of the movers wasn't fully functioning due to a recent heart surgery. I feel sorry for that man but I should have been told I was hiring disabled movers especially because I moved up stairs and told them that! Also I don't like how I was charged for an entire extra hour when it wasn't that. I ordered them to meet at my house at 1pm. I got there at 1:10 and they started packing the truck immediately. The literally stopped at 3:12 (maybe sooner but this was the time stamp on the cashApp) and was charged an additional hour. They won't be getting a tip and I demand a refund for what I have paid.

In between moving and needed storage place found the uhaul place was most helpful with providing me clean safe place to put stuff, needed to get things moved from one side of North Carolina to to other and from other places asap. Uhaul had vehicles of my choice and staff Most Excellent in any and all questions I had, felt like family give me a hand. Yes Recommend this place to any and all even truck drivers like myself.

The service was overall a decent one. However you can tell our box was clearly hit with a forklift and it punctured the wood (thankfully nothing was damaged) and we didn't like the extra delivery fees we had to pay that we weren't told about at booking.

Equipment was fine. I was only disappointed that it felt confusing receiving communication from different people. One xoicemail gave me the wrong info about a pickup time and while the initial registration info was through email, subsequent updates were in text. So when I looked for my info I only found the original email and had the wrong location info. The whole registration process was clumsy and could have been smoother

Computer system was "down" for at least 2 days on the weekend. Returning was difficult as tricks were parked haphazardly leading to entrance. Pre booking was pointless due to computer being down... Equipment was fine once I finally got it.

Need a better front desk crew. I was there 50min. Before the girl outside that was cleaning trucks came inside to help me with my truck key while the front desk woman ignore the fact i was sitting there after i told her i needed help with online check in. After 59mins of waiting, the outside help retrived my key in less than 2mins.

Please provide this location and its amazing staff--dedicated and well informed people like facility agent Bobby and GM Cindy more resources they can accommodate the need for loading and unloading UBoxes in an indoor, covered environment that is most beneficial to the Ubox itself as it is containing your property in a completely covered container from top to bottom. They need more indoor space for this need that so many customers want but do not know how to ask for. If it wasn't for my experience in shipping Uboxes and trying out different facilities I would not know how beneficial indoor loading in a contained environment was to my being a long term Ubox customer, as it is necessary for such an environment in order to keep the Uboxes as immaculately clean as possible. I think your Ubox sales in terms of customers that want to be long term storage clients of the Ubox the would skyrocket. Also, a climate controlled environment for the Uboxes to keep long term storage clients property and the Uboxes themselves in the best condition possible.

UHaul called and told me they could not deliver on time and I called them back and said we had movers coming and they complied. Arrived in NC and goods were stored for several months. I needed a trailer for a bed we purchased, set up with Uhaul rep Carolina Exports for pickup 9/3 he called on 9/3 and said he had cancelled order. Apparently he had weekend plans and did not respect my business and needs. Will not use you again or recommend Uhaul.

The staff I encountered were all very helpful & professional. The only issue that was encountered was that another staff member cancelled my reservation right after I had already paid for it which caused quite an uproar the next day including multiple charges on my bank account and another reservation being made (a total of 2 - only needed 1). It then caused drop off issues later after I had driving almost 19 hrs across the the states. The new reservation was not assigned a drop off location like my first reservation. I suggest the person who created this issue be addressed immediately. Outside of that, I would highly recommend this location — thank you Eddie, Alicia & Cotillon !

Initial drop off location at Chevron station on Statesville Ave in Charlotte NC would not let me drop of my trailer. I would advise anyone sent to the Chevron station on Statesville Ave in Charlotte, NC not to use this facility. The location on Boxmeer Drive was very helpful. I rate this location as excellent.

Overall, I wouldn't repeat the experience. Even though it stated that you can get up to date information on your account, it isn't live. I spent countless hours chasing my container to make sure it arrived on time. I was driving 10 hours out of state to meet my container so I made sure I booked way ahead and scheduled the times and dates UHaul stated it was available and good to go. The first part went off without a hitch. From when the container left the state of FL, I had no updates. I had to make calls to prospective receiving sites in North Carolina when the original site called me and stated they didn't have room to receive my box and I would have to call UHaul and tell them. When in the world is it the customer's job to do UHaul's job? I paid so all I had to do was my part. I would sat I spent a combined 4 hours on phone waiting for someone to call me and/ or transfer. Overall, I would just pay extra and go with a professional moving company. The day before is was supposed to arrive I was still having to make calls because they couldn't locate my container. Absolutely ridiculous in this day and age that they can't track their own goods.

There was a low pressure warning for the front right tire but the attendants checked the pressure and advised me to ignore it, which wasn't really reassuring. The truck was overall pretty good but I suspect it wasn't cleaned after the previous rental; it had no USB port to connect a phone that could be used for directions. It had $70K+ mile already...

The office area is nice and updated but the storage unit area is a little dated with uneven floors so your items can fall off the carts on your way to your unit. All of the key pads don’t work for you to gain access to the storage units. There was also water leaks in my unit the very next day as it was raining the day I moved in and the day after. The leaks were fixed the next day and are holding so far.

Cindy Madison is one of the most honest and dedicated moving and storage specialists I have ever met in my life. She customized and arranged a plan of service for me without having met me in person, and using only information about my needs provided by phone and email. When I arrived, the arrangement for my Ubox service needs was already made available. All I can say is I wish I would have transfered to this location months ago when I was feeling stuck and hopeless at a previous location. I hope Uhaul will have customer support specialists contact customers every 3 weeks to see if relocation is what they need, as remaining àt a location that is causing one problems usually never results in problems being resolved.

That answer was because, the truck we rented was returned the same day but, after hours! The next day, we were being called because? They couldn't find the truck anywhere so, we were being charged for the truck not being returned! We went to the company and explained what happen and, we suggested they look at the camara tape! As they look at the tape, they see us return the truck and then, 3 hours later the truck was stolen from the company! We had great service but, that incident made us reconsider where we rent trucks from again! The situation was resolved!

We had a small open trailer for 15 days. I talked to someone once and my wife talked to someone twice. The second time I called I waited for 14 minutes, was put on hold another 16 minutes until my phone died. Lady named Kim was just plain rude. Talked like we were trying to steal your trailer. Sure, with both our debit cards on file and very plain instructions to go ahead and charge whatever the fee was on the trailer until we returned it. Your not doing yourself any favors keeping Kim around. I will definitely use budget or someone the next time.

This place was tucked in a far, dark corner near the interstate. I came after hours and there was NO DROP-OFF BOX! Had to leave key in ignition. This is a rather large property that's somewhat daunting to know what you're supposed to do if there are - and there always will be with the size of this place - many other customers dropping off. I just happened to get it right by pulling up behind another truck that had been dropped off previously. I walked for over 30 minutes on this place trying to find anything that resembled a drop-off box. Ran into other customers that were just as confused about pick-up or drop-off needs. Nice clean, full-stocked shop inside from what I can tell looking in through its big windows. Need to make things clear for night-time service, please. And more lights - did not feel safe.

They didn't seem to know if the truck I was going to be renting was even at the facility. Some customer left their 10ft truck parked in front of my truck and took the keys with them so that had no way to move the smaller truck to easily get mine out. The employee handing off my truck had to do some maneuvering so we could leave. The whole parking lot seemed to be a little bit of CF/SNAFU. There was no direction of where people were supposed to park their trucks whatsoever. We didn't even know where to park to go inside to pick up the truck.

Cumbersome check in process. Wasted 45 minutes trying to use automated check out process. Made a reservation for one location and everything looked fine until I arrived and that location was overbooked. Did get an email changing the location later. This reservation process needs to be fixed during the booking process!!! Had to drive 10 miles from the original location to secure a truck therefore more mileage charges. Also charged for the dolly that came loose while returning the truck. Never used the dolly.

First the staff member assigned me to a unit that had someone else's lock on it. So we had to wait for her to assign me a new one. She told me I could bring my own lock. Then I went in to grab something yesterday and there was a second lock added to our unit by the Uhaul team. We called the front desk to ask why and have it removed when a second staff member said that the first lady never switched our storage unit in the system. So I was late to work because I had to wait for the last to come and unlock the unit. She then informed me that I was not allowed to only have my own lock and that I would have to use Uhauls lock as well. Needless to say this was a bad first impression the company has made on me.

Allowed me to reserve a unit that wasn't available although the territory representative assured me that they would be able to fix that at the location. Got there and was told I'd have to take 4 much smaller units which caused me to unfortunately have to get rid of some of my furniture. Then the guy had the nerve to tell me i couldn't dispose of the furniture on the property when there was a huge mess of a dump in the back. A buch of I don't knows and we can't do thats. Incompetence all around. Extremely disappointing and i would like to be made whole but i bet I'd get another we can't do that.

I reserved a unit online, to reserve it you had to leave a deposit and I did. The day of moving in after packing a 27 foot truck, they had no information regarding my reservation. Thank God I took a picture of my reservation with my cell phone and it was saved in my phone. I provided them with my name and they pretended they didn't see the information. I provided them with the reservation number and now they were able to see the information. I was told, they did not have the unit I reserved. Therefore, they said they would provide me with a unit that equal up to what I reserved. I was completely satisfied until I attempted to move in the unit and the size did not equal to the size I was promised. So we had to take the items back home because the office was closed and the size did not fit my items. I rented the truck for 1 day therefore, I had to return the truck the next morning. We all know moving is a nightmare. I had night terrors with Uhaul. I called 1-800-go-uhaul and spoke with customer service and provided them with my experience and asked for the CEO's information, the representative asked me to call the location before I contact. After reading the information from Uhaul, asking me to try to resolve any disputes before leaving a feedback. I called and on hold for 25 minutes. I can't.

My storage unit was filled with cockroaches and water bugs upon leaving. I moved in on April 24th, 2021 and moved out on June 15th 2021. My items were not even in storage for a full 60 days. We alerted the property due to the infestation. Now I am worried about having brought bugs into my new home and needing extermination services. I will be calling customer service to speak to someone about this matter.

Unfortunately, my experience was the worst. I had two different purposes to be there and both times were horrible. The staff do no care about Customer Service each time they attempted to charge me extra for something. The customer care line says they will inform the manager and to expect a call no one ever does. Its like they think resolving the problem with out confirmation is ok. In my time I communicated my actions for my move out date on the 17th. I still received a bill so I called CC told them I had moved as I had called the main line 3x already with on answer and still was charged w late fee. If you want to do business with a location that doesn't answer the phone by all means have it it!

I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the facility upon entering the building the customer service representative was with a client she was very professional and courteous she also did acknowledge my presence while assisting someone else! She also asked if I had a lock I stated I didn’t and she recommended the UHaul lock which I purchase my fiancée pointed out the locks 🔐 on everyone else which is not the one UHaul has for sale!
