It rained overnight when I had the truck packed, and a lot of the contents got wet! The whole floor of the truck was wet! So when I went to pick up the boxes , everything fell out the bottom! It was very disappointing and made a lot of extra work! Unhappy customer!Spencer P.

I picked the trailer up Thursday night loaded the dressers first and had about 1/2 the trailer full Friday morning I opened the trailer and it was leaking a stream of water on top of my wife's dresser and clothes I then drove back to the rental location had to unload the stuff in the rain and hook up to another trailer and reload that one the second trailer didn't leak and towed beautiful when we got to our location 3 days later we unloaded the trailer and the top of the dresser is delaminating the manager at that location Jamie Bouchard was very helpful the day I brought the leaking one back and was great today when I returned it very understanding she reimbursed me for the charges because of the way I was treated I will continue to use uhaul and recommend themDaniel F.

I used the contactless app and went up to side counter to retrieve the key. The cashier had no idea what I was doing, no intention of addressing me and didn't speak one word to me except "what" then throw the key at me after I really tried to get her attention. I had reserved the truck for 4 hours but received a number of texts to return in 3hrs 15 min - not sure whyWALLACEBERNARD D.
First, the guy helping me had zero personality and very unfriendly. I sus all the online check un but had to redo it all again at the store so i am unsure why they even do a online check in. The truck and teailer were not ready to go, i had to go get thevtruck out of the lot of other trucks and drive it over to where the trailers were. No idea what trailer i was to take and the guy that was to help me never came out so another female employee helped me in the rain. Im not sure why i couldn't pick up the truck at the location i asked for. No excuse for that. I'm not even sure why im doing this survey, won't change anything and i already paid so, i don't see a discount coming ir any kind of compensation.William H.
I can't believe that the company is manipulating another $20 from customers. Is I don't use online to let who? Know that I dropped the truck off at night. I had a good experience with this location/team every time I've rented a vehicle with them. The staff is friendly, clear with instructions/information, and ready to help if needed. Could staff more people first thing in the morning (seems everyone likes an early start when moving) BUT I completely understand if that's difficult. No one wants to be up then. One of the staff said to me he didn't know how to reserve a room for me, and he use half of the time play his cell phone, and he gave me the wrong price. I paid extra 100 dollars and then I realized I over paid. Now I have to wait for the refund. Another staff, she cursed in front of me. She said: â€œI fucking hate this.â€ Her interrupted me when I was talking, and she picks up personal phone call when she try to help the guy reserve my room. I was not provided with moving blankets nor a dolly even though I requested them over the phone and paid for them. I was walked outside of the store, pointed in the direction of 10+ uhaul trucks and told 'your truck is over there'. 1. Only one person working at the counter, with many people lined up waiting to pick up their equipment. 2. Instructions said to adjust mirrors, which is obviously good safety protocol, but mirrors were not possible to adjust. It appears they are screwed in position. 3. Customer service is essentially useless. I tried calling multiple times about being unable to adjust the mirrors. I was on hold for lengthy periods and then transferred to other extensions and put on hold again and call was dropped. I tried using the chat, and was told I had to call customer service, which is exactly what I had been trying unsuccessfully to do. Result: Drove over 200 miles without being able to see much in the driver's side mirror. 4. The key did not work in the driver's side door. I had to climb in on the passenger side and crawl across the seat. 5. I did not receive a receipt by email after returning the vehicle.Simha R.

The wait time was more than I hoped for, but my rental was on a busy Saturday. Forget calling the location, they don't answer the phone. My starting fuel measurement was more than was in my truck. I was told that I had to make the change thru a link, however there was no way a picture could be uploaded. It had to be taken with a cell phone. My son had taken the pic and emailed to me so he could get moving. I was a bit confused with all the directions I was given when I picked it up. I went back into the store for help. The rep told me to bring it up when I returned the vehicle the following day. Again it was too busy. I didn't want to wait in line again so I just put the extra 3 gallons in the vehicle.Sheila F.

Both pick up and drop off sites and personnel were fine. The problem was that there was a leak in the trailer. By the time we finished our move, eveything in the trailer was wet or damp. This just shouldn't happen in an enclosed trailer.Kenneth H.

Then after returning the u-haul I was was supposed to get some money back because I used less miles than anticipated, but instead I get charged and extra $73 on top of the $143 I already paid. The inexperienced agent was clueless. I did not get operational directions on how to enter and leave the secure key card access system. I had to make 3 separate trips back to the storage office to try to get access to the facility the 1st time. Thats the only complaint that I have for this location. While the actual storage unit was excellent, the customer service and overall experience with Uhaul made our move more difficult. Both for our truck rental and storage unit, reservations (made months prior) were “not found” upon our arrival. The uhaul pickup was 40 minutes away from our apartment (because they didn’t have our truck at the original location which was inconvenient to begin with) and the tank was 1/4 full so we had to fill up before we could even get home. The storage place took over 45 minutes to “check in” and required THREE phone numbers and TWO addresses to even access. How do you have 2 addresses if you are moving? Overall we were not satisfied with our service with Uhaul and will be looking for different options next time.William L. | First Impressions

Everything was great. However, when we arrived at the storage facility, we found the sliding, electronic doors wide open. (Storage users are supposed to use their swipe cards to gain access). The doors remained that way for the duration of the move into our rental space. The building was completely unsecured during this time. I called the front desk to notify them & they said they'd fix the problem. However, the front desk should receive an immediate alarm notification if the doors are open for an unreasonable amount of time or malfunctioning.
