Thank you. Please consider how time efficient and safer it would be if the outdoor access for Ubox access on the premises had a canopy and had direct light shining at the boxes after office hours. By safer I mean being able to ensure you can be seen if you trip on a bus or trip due to the pavement having grooves shaped in it for the path of traffic. It is great getting fresh air and accessing the UmUboxes on your premises, which is set up for this product to be placed and moved upon. Another idea is a small portable chain fence placed around the Uboxes in case a dog or squirrel wonders over or a box rolls out while accessing the unit. Location is convenient. Waited over 15 minutes to be helped by desk associate. I do note that she was trying to address some concerns in a phone call. Truck received was so scratched and dented, it was hard to evaluate for pre-acceptance walk through. Broken pieces of chalk were left in the storage space. Lack of customer service and staff don't wear mask! Lady who received my rental truck was dramatic and somewhat rude but I didn't make a big deal out of it as my niece was with me. She didn't wear a mask nor social distance. She stated that I didn't return the vehicle with enough gas but I did and just told her to bill me instead of going back and forth. I was very disappointed with the return process as the diagram on the paperwork and the gauge in the truck do not match and can be tricky to read. For the most part I received excellent customer service from Brandy, Christine, Russia, and 2 very nice African Americans helped me as well.? The younger gentleman helped me load the 10 ft. Box truck with supplies I purchased from U-Haul. All made it a great experience for me & this was the third time I rented the truck! They were very respectful of my time crunch in picking up furniture & other thing I purchased from OfferUp for my new home & my existing home! A big thanks to the staff/team that helped each other and me!!! They are a asset to the company, for sure! The only complaint that I have is that the light bulb in the back of the truck was blown out, so didn't work & I was picking up furniture in the dark, so it was very hard to see & organize the truck in the dark! Also, no one showed me how to put the lock on the truck & the lock was purchased there as well! Davis helped me reserve a storage unit on the phone one night (he was awesome too) and the next day Brandy helped process the storage units & she was awesome in renting to me a long with the truck rental...whew!!! The tailgate had a hard time going all the way down due to this condition. 2) The light system was cut from a previous customer and had to be re-wired at the time of rental. Opted for online check in, which didn't work. The man helping me at the counter had to re-do my reservation 3 times which took almost 45 minutes. During my stay at the rental counter, a coworker asked the man helping me about another vehicle; apparently he rented a truck to someone the same day it was already scheduled for a one way trip. He didn't send the correct vehicle because it was â€œblockedâ€ in the parking lot. My rental time was extended however this significant delay caused me to miss a flight, costing me over $200 in change fees and 24 hours of my time. I would not recommend this location as the associates are not clear in communication which lead to escalation to the assistant manager. The assistant manager was helpful but at that point in the reservation I had wasted over two hours on the phone which is unacceptable. Driver seat was wet which meant my butt ended up being wet. Large crack in the windshield from a previous rental. When I went inside to get the keys, the girl at the counter wasn't wearing a mask and it took her a few minutes to put one on. When I returned the van, no one helped me. I find the miles limit really annoying. When I can look at the distance between pick up/drop off locations and where I am moving my stuff from/to and know it is way over the allowed miles, I should be able to get more miles so I don't have to pay extra, now if I go for a hot ride all over town, that would be dumb. But when closest pick up location is 18 miles from where I am loading the truck, which is 21 miles from where I am unloading the truck which is 10 miles away from closest one way drop off or 20 miles away from in town drop off, there is NO way to be under 30 miles... and I find that to be infuriating. Also we ordered an appliance dolly, and they didn't have one, so that was rather inconvenient.ELIZABETH L.

I responded there was no mention of an extra charge in my contract. I was told that Uhaul in St Louis should have told me. I asked the personnel to show me that in the contract. Uhaul personnel failed to do so. This angered me greatly. I didn't pay. I feel that Uhaul personnel at this dropoff location is scamming unsuspecting customers. SHAMEFUL. Convenience and facility were excellent. However, my experience with the staff during my the opt out date is the reason I will no longer use u-haul. I am a business owner and I lost my keys. I contacted the staff and inquired about getting the locked removed immediately and purchasing new lock. According to the staff member I was told that the manager said I had to wait 5 days before uhaul would remove the lock. After stating over and over my immediate need for the lock to be removed, the ultimatum was given to me to call a locksmith or wait 5 days for uhaul to remove the lock. Needing immediate access, I was forced to call a locksmith smith at the cost of 254 dollars, so I canceled my contract with you uhaul and will never deal with uhaul anymore or anywhere. Their was a ton of rat poop all over my stuff when I moved out of the storage unit. As well the manager was supposed to prorate the month I moved my stuff out. Not only did she not prorate and refund me she never even stopped my contract when I moved out so I got charged again the fallowing month. I had to call my bank to dispute the charges. To top all of that I reserved moving blankets with my truck a few days before picking the truck up. It wasn't untill after I got the truck and walked to the truck to find they didn't put any in it. They told me they didn't have any which meant I had to scramble to find something to protect my stuff for the move.
