You need to have a sidestep installed on your larger trucks. It's a long way down if you're not 6 ft or taller. This is a rather large liability issue you could be sued for in the future if someone falls and breaks a bone or worse.Joshua F.

I ordered a 10" truck online to be dropped off at the Postal Annex by my house, then needed to add a tow dolly later. I called Uhaul to add the dolly and the rep didn't ask where I wanted to drop off the dolly, so she set the drop off location to the Uhaul store across town from the Postal Annex. When I called the Uhaul customer service number. I was on hold for 20 mins, then the call dropped before I could see if I could change the 2 different drop off locations to the same place. I went to the Uhaul store and an employee said I would have to leave the dolly there, then drive the truck back to the Postal Annex or I would get a fee for dropping off in the wrong location. I ended up going over my milage and paid a fee, partly due to the 2 separate locations. Drop off location should be discussed with the client when a reservation is made online. It was a confusing process to try to avoid extra fees. The LV employee was helpful and hooked up the dolly for us and walked us through installing the vehicle before we left. The Carson City employee gave us vague information, then walked away before we could explain the 2 drop off location situation. We sat in the truck Googling information for several minutes before he came back out to ask if we needed help unhooking the dolly. It was close to closing, so we tried to follow the do-it-yourself check in process, but the location service step was not working.Krista H.

They called over 6 times to see when the truck would be turned in. I told them by 5 pm not one time did they that I would be charged an extra day. Not one person at the rental start place to the end place told me a time it had to be back other then they closed at 5 pm. I had to pick up from different place then rented from they could have given me the 5 extra hours freeCathy D.

I know it was â€œbusy seasonâ€, but the fuel tank should have (at the very least) a quarter of a tank of gas in it and not near empty when I rented it. Other than that, I would highly recommend this place. Excellent customer service was provided.Stephen D.
